Looks very nice! I’ve seen the 3D thing tutorials everywhere, but this is the first time I see it on TF, its cool.
Thanks WP – It definitely took some time to iron out (getting the CSS3 math to work with user-selected thumbnail sizes was particularly fun to work out), but the end result is something we’re pretty darned proud of!
Cheers! Brandon
I bet – looks good

Good luck with sales.
Thanks arrow

Will you marry me?
Lol! Sure, why not? How many kids are we gonna have though? B
Great theme and quite possibly the one we’ll need for our next project.
I may have missed it, but is there an audio post in the demo? Is ‘Audio Content’ via default embed or your own player design?
Good question – there’s not one in the demo site, but it is supported along with videos, images, sliders, etc. I’ll set one up in the demo and post a link for ya ASAP (I’m away from my computer for the evening).
Cheers! B
Looks really nice! Would like a simple button somewhere on the page after you click an item to take you back to the home layout so the user doesn’t have to think about clicking home or back.
Not a bad idea – I release free bi-weekly updates with user-feedback requested features, so I’ll add this one to the first week’s list
Thanks! B
Looks awesome…
would like to know if we can change the image W X H that appear on the home page or portfolio , as i am looking to showcase this for a wallpaper download site.
Yep! The module image size is set from the theme admin panel and it auto-generates the thumbnails at the size that you specify
Cheers! B
Hi Epicera…great theme! I just bought it.
I’m installing it at the moment…so far so good. I appreciate your responsiveness to posts…I’ll be back if I have questions!
Thanks!
Sounds good – Keep in mind we’ve also got full support at http://makedesign.ticksy.com
B
Thanks, Epicera…
I checked out the support site, but couldn’t find information on how to add a video to the slider. Is that not supported?
I also can’t find out how to set the blog page to pull the posts I had from my previous theme…
Heya Link – Videos aren’t supported as slides in the slider, but you can link out to them by entering a video URL into the destination field for the slide (YouTube or Vimeo) – the reasoning is pretty simple – in most cases videos don’t “respond” well… so you end up with strange aspect ratios when you scale up/down across the responsive breakpoints
You can also add videos in the actual posts naturally… I’ll do a bit of research to see how tricky it’d be at this point to add video-slides using the fredCarousel slider that we’re using to run that.
Cheers! B
if I may ask, what font do you use for “kollection” on the splash image / screenshot of this theme?
Sure – it’s LHF Stanford Script
B
Amazing work epicera!
Thanks a bunch Mike! B

+3 moreVery sleek, nice!
Thanks a ton Digital – means a lot coming from you bud

This is a really great-looking theme and I love the folding effect!
I’ve got a project in mind for this but I have some pre-sale questions:
1) Can the homepage layout be customized using a combination of elements: for instance, show both the folding grid and the alternate full-width blog posts, or some other combo like a slider, then a text block, then the folding grid, etc.
2) Is it possible to have a “restricted count” folding portfolio on the homepage (most recent photos), set to either a number…or since it’s responsive
maybe to automatically fill 2 “lines” (actual count will depend on screen size), but in addition…
3) Can my site also have another instance of the folding portfolio (the portfolio page) but this one showing all of the photos/posts?
4) Can I turn off the filter locally (off for the homepage, on for the portfolio page)?
5) Can I filter the images by author?
6) For the folding grid, when I hover over the image it shows views and likes, can it also show comments (comment count)?
7) Can the thumbnails in the folding portfolio be set to only open/enlarge in the lightbox (not go to the post)? Or maybe have both: click the arrow and be taken to the post, and click a + or zoom icon to just enlarge the pic in the lightbox?
These 2 are about the Zillalikes plugin (I couldn’t find the answer over at the plugin site as you need to be a paid user of their themes for the support forum):
8] In your demo, when I click on the heart, it turns red and the count goes up by one – but if I leave the page and comeback or refresh, the count is right but the heart is no longer red. Can it be set to stay red if liked and record only 1 like per person (or user/IP/whatever)?
9) Can I limit “liking” to registered users only?
Lol, I know this was long – I do apologize
and thanks!
Hi Spooken!
Lots of questions! I’ll do my best to cover all of them:
1. Nope – not without some customization on your part. The templates are setup for simple single loops through blog posts using one set style for each post… mixing and matching is possible, but would require you to mix and match templates and blog loops… something that’s not necessarily a beginner mod.
2. Sure – you get to pick how many posts show up on any page throughout the theme… so you can specify having a certain number of posts (and then have pagination links show up after that number).
3. Yep – it’s a page template that uses categories… so you can have as many as you want and assign unique categories to each one if you wanted (ie: you could have a photography folding portfolio, and a video folding portfolio).
4. Sure – the easiest way would be to just hide the filters with a single line of CSS , which our team will quickly provide for ya in the support forum
5. Not the way the template is coded now… but you’d have two options: a) assign a unique category to each author, and then just select that for each folding page… or b) code up a custom query for each folding template that specifies an author. Either way ways… read my note at the bottom for info on how to find our theme customizers to have someone do this for ya.
6. Sure – it’d take some customization as it stands right now, but I already have that on the list of new features for the first update next week where you’ll be able to toggle what items of meta-data show up in that folding under-card
7. Same answer as #6 – this is already on the way in one of the first theme updates… it wasn’t ready for launch, but it’ll be out within the next week or two. This’ll work as an under-card option… you can turn it on/off and it’ll create a “lightbox” button when you fold the card up. You’ll also be able to toggle the full post link off if you want to.
8. That’s just caching… the plugin caches votes for a bit of time before updating the actual count to prevent server-overload (this is especially useful on the demo with tons of people clicking stuff).
9. Hmmm – The short answer is yes, and I’d be glad to assist on this one even though it’s a customization. We’d basically just need to wrap the instance of the “like” plugin with a check for whether or not someone is a registered user… simple stuff.
I’ll also note that we have http://freelancers.mdnw.net, which is a team of unaffiliated freelancers that enjoy taking on projects with our themes. I also have my own freelance studio that can take on customizations for you as well if you have something specific in mind for the theme (and you have a budget for us to spend an afternoon knocking it out for ya). Ping us at http://makedesign.ticksy.com once you have a copy of the theme and we can work out either of those if you want to go that route.
Cheers! B
Amazing! GLWS
Thanks Tommus! Brandon
Wow! Very great, like it
Thanks
B
Can you include facebook comments on that update? =)
Your theme is extremely cool!
What do ya mean by Facebook comments… I know there are a few plugin that’ll integrate FB commenting pretty easily… So you might already be able to do this in the existing theme.
If you had something else in mind I’ll be glad to check it out though!
