Dear Flow,
I asked you some questions before concerning the KONZEPT Wordpress theme, thank you very much for those answers! Now I have a few more pre-purchase questions:
1. As “home” page (i.e. the first page one comes to when entering the website) I want to have a self-hosted HTML5 video (with sound) that covers the entire screen, that lies behind the menu, that starts automatically when one enters the website, and (if possible) that it also loops endlessly. I want this “home” page to contain only the fullscreen video, no portfolio overview (that you have on your KONZEPT theme demo “home” page), or anything else aside from the menu. Is this possible with the KONZEPT theme? If it isn’t possible to implement via the current standard theme functionality, can you please estimate what you think it would cost to implement if using a third-party developer? I appreciate if you answer as detailed as possible.
2. Does the KONZEPT theme support both selfhosted HTML5 videos, YouTube videos and Vimeo videos when used as I suggest in question number 1?
3. On the “home” page one comes to when entering this website: http://www.netwisegroup.co.uk/ they have removed the partially transparent black header that lies behind the menu, how do I remove this? Can it be done via themes option or do I have to consult a third-party developer? Will it be expensive to modify?
4. On the “home” page one comes to when entering this website: http://thisisremixed.com/ it seems that they have a fullscreen background video, at least it covers the entire screen and there is sound and it moves like it is a video. Is this customized by a developer or can I accomplish this without customization?
5. Here: http://www.netwisegroup.co.uk/contact-us/ the “CONTACT” page title is very big and it is also cropped by the partially transparent black header. a) Is it possible to make the page title smaller via the theme’s admin tool? b) Is it possible to have the page title (and also the text and the contact form beneath it) moved down on the page via the theme’s admin tool?
6. Is it possible to permanently and completely remove the footer via the theme’s admin tool?
Please answer as detailed as possible so that I don’t have to ask again, and please refer to my numbers above so that there is no doubt which question you are answering.

I think that you might be interested in checking out trial website that we recently created. We get many very extensive comments and questions so rather than replying to them we decided to open up a trial website where everyone can test everything.
Please forgive me a lack of response back then! When we get 300 questions a week it’s hard to find 30 minutes to reply to such long comments.

Generally, what you see on the demo is possible. Some things require custom modifications – we can provide you some code for them but more extensive ones would require attention of a developer.

I see your request but requests in that support forum area aren’t handled by theme developers. It’s small Europe agency that we collaborate with. I notified the person that is working on your request but… I urge them to pay attention more to quality than time. The priority is to make every single work correctly and the time secondary. If something has to be done right then it requires time.
Only large and expensive agencies are able to deliver large scale, professional changes in 3-5 days – small agency with 3 developers working there needs 1-3 weeks on average. I’m sure that those guys are doing what they can.

1. Does the KONZEPT Wordpress theme support LayerSlider (or similar) in a fullscreen slideshow with images?
2. Does the KONZEPT Wordpress theme support LayerSlider (or similar) in a fullscreen slideshow with video? Is it possible to have a LayerSlider hyperlink in a fullscreen video?
3. Regarding my first question (in my previous post the other day): What I meant was if it is possible to have a fullscreen HTML5 video as the first slider in a slideshow and that it starts to play automatically and also loops endlessly?

I’m sorry for lack of reply to this question! I must have missed it somehow.
1) Not sure. But the most plugins work with the most of the themes.
2) Rather not. Javascript doesn’t re-initialize when projects load with AJAX (like it does on document ready) so it would be hard to be done.
3) No but that’s possible with minor tweaks. We’re working on improved slideshow and this option should be included there as well.
The next Konzept iteration should appear soon – probably in two months. It will improve some things and some things are already there.

sometimes UPLOAD FILES doesn’t seem to work. i uploaded files and pushed ‘start upload’ button, and the status told me 100%. but there were no thumbnails but blank sign.
did i miss something?

My recommendation would be to ask this on support forum where you can safely provide us WP login/password and we’ll check that. It’s hard to say what may be wrong but here are two things that come to my mind:
The good news is that even if that uploader doesn’t work, you can still use “Media Library” or “Image” icon to add images and uploads will be handled by WordPress. And another good news is that if we investigate this then we’ll most likely take action to improve our script to support more server configurations.

Hmm, it would be great to receive some constructive feedback. It should work like demo one does but I can’t possibly help you without having more information.

All preview images are courtesy of Dribbble.com authors and they are meant to be used on live demo only. Images are not included in the package.

Yes, because each project needs slides and title (double in admin panel) to work. Otherwise it’s considered empty and will be skipped.

The easiest and the fastest solution would be to go to header.php, template-portfolio.php and single-portfolio.php and do Find/Replace them. In header.php there are 2 instances if I’m not mistaken. Let me know if you need more information and help with that.

Another question, How do I remove the dark shade footer bar completely?

#footer { display: none; }in style.css or under [Konzept > General > Custom CSS Code].Take a look at my post with the dark shade footer. While you scroll down, you will notice it interferes with the facebook plugins.

I can see that there is great emphasis on this theme looking impressive on mobile and tablet devices, but when you view pages on a conventional resolution screen all the page titles are half obscured by the menu. Is there no auto hide function for the menu bar to make this less noticeable? Also, is it relatively straight forward to change theme colour should one wish to do so? Finally, the sorting for the portfolio is in my view far better in the Daisho theme, when it re sorts according to the category. Can you not implement the same functionality as an option within this theme?
1) Yes, it requires little CSS tweaks. I think that solutions are already available on the forum.
2) Auto-hide – no.
3) Hmm, technically it’s possible to lower the opacity to 0 and hide them but that might not be as straight forward. Daisho and Konzept just offer different solutions. Some people like it one way and some like it the other way. Both are correct for visitors. I’ll keep in mind to implement hiding as well in the further updates.

Yes, server passes 1 URL to WordPress (and WordPress to theme) for both versions of website (with www. prefix and without). This should be changed by Server Administrator because it is rather not correct behavior.
WordPress module called admin-ajax.php needs to be loaded from the same domain that it is executed – otherwise it will not work – it just doesn’t work cross-domain and www.example.com version of website it technically not the same as example.com, so your hosting company should correct that redirection. They most likely forced www. version of website to load example.com version.
See which have success and which have fail: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Same_origin_policy (server needs to be configured to option that has “success”).

in Wordpress however…this is what im getting…

i just tested a url rewrite forcing example.com to load www.example.com…and it seems to work…

It’s very rare that theme uses AJAX on front-end, so perhaps you just didn’t use any theme with such functionality before.

Jenna here with a few questions prior to buying this theme:
(1) I cannot find any shortcodes in your demo or presentation. Where are they?
(2) I want to know if it is possible to have a selfhosted fullscreen video as the first slide in a slideshow on the “Home” page, i.e. that the video starts automatically when one enters the website?
(3) In your demo “Light Version (Projects List + Slideshow)” the first slide consists of a fullscreen image, I click it and then slide no. 2 appears. However this fullscreen video stops after a short while and never continues. When I go forward and then back again in the slideshow the video continues to play. Why is it like this? I am worried that the same thing will happen with my video…... (I use an ordinary PC with Mozilla Firefox and I have an excellent broadband connection).
(4) I want the page titles to come a bit further down on the page, can this be done via the theme’s admin?
(5) Would it be possible to keep the transparent header box on the “All Works” page (with the thumbnails), and have it removed on all other pages? Can this be done via the theme’s admin?
(6) Is it possible to have a hyperlink in a slide in a project slideshow? E.g. in your demo: “ALL WORKS ”
-> “MIRAGE” -> slide number 3? This is a picture, but can I have a hyperlink here?(7) Is it possible to customize the contact form to also include further text fields, checkboxes and radio-buttons? Can this be done via the theme’s admin?

(9) When using Internet Explorer the “dribbling” among coming projects on the “Coming Soon” page doesn’t work. The projects are organized in one column….!? Will you fix this?

(11) Is fullscreen video (both selfhosted, YouTube and Vimeo) supported when accessing from an iPad and iPhone? If it’s not, will you fix this in the future and do you know when?
(12) Is it possible to auto-hide the navigation menu? E.g. that it is hidden when the mouse is not moving. Can this be done via the theme’s admin?
Please answer A.S.A.P., I need to make a quick decision which theme to use.

1) So far there aren’t many of them. We encourage people to use plugins to add things like lightboxes, buttons or pricing tables.
2) Yes, HTML5 Video. It will work like here: http://themes.devatic.com/konzept/?featured=true (without controls + autoplay + looped).
3) TF contains 1:1 copy of demo files, so perhaps yes. Please note that <video> tag (HTML5 Video) is not perfect and it’s support varies across browsers. If transfer of that video from server to your computer failed then it may happen. We’re willing to fix issues like that if possible so thanks for reporting this!
4) No, but this can be done with simple CSS style tweaks. It’s just 1 value.
5) The answer is similar to point 4 it can be done by some style tweaks but not under Admin panel.
6) Yes. Slide descriptions support links.
7) Yes, generally you can create any form fields with Contact Form 7 plugin. Some styling adjustments might be necessary though.
9) IE9 doesn’t support CSS3 animations.
10) Yes, It’s possible.
11) Yes, it’s supported in the current v1.0.4.3. You can test “Shapes” project to make sure that it works.
12) I’m not sure if I understand. By default it gets a bit lower opacity but it is generally visible all the time and this is the only setting available.
I hope that my answers clarify some things. Generally – we provide 1:1 copy of demo files, so what you see on demo is what you get and additional options are generally not there at this moment but will be (hopefully) in Konzept v2 – to be released next year. I don’t promise anything, yet though. We’re still working on the framework.
If you have bugs to report after purchase or suggestions then our support forum is open – we do not close tickets until resolved (it sometimes takes a week, two or a month but we usually fix everything). Replies are also delivered in 24-72h (more if it’s complex and can’t be resolved straight away).

I always recommend to contact developers on our support forum (for purchasers only) and they can work on any custom modifications.
#header { display: none; }to hide it. You can test that in Firebug. You can completely remove it in header.php. It all depends on what are you looking for in particularfixed the issue by doing a url redirect …thanks for the help….

However, original question remains unanswered – why
get_bloginfo("wpurl");returns wrong URL .I think that our demo server was redirecting all not defined sub-domains (such as www.) to standard example.com by default and you just did this, too to fix this issue.
Your server seems to treat www.example.com as the one that loads example.com (which is technically not correct because www.example.com is another sub-domain that can contain different website).

A clarification on my previous question: I meant like they have done on the first page (Home page) at http://www.netwisegroup.co.uk/ Of course the navigation menu is there, but there is no partly transparent dark area under the menu. This happens when you have “Featured Slideshow” enabled – it’s one of demo modes that allows that. Other than that you can get rid of
background-colorfor header to have it work like this.I’ll try asking again…
