Do you know if BBpress works with your theme?

ThemeBeans

Hey Drex, BBpress will pull the default styling – but there are no custom styles/templates included specifically within Krative.

Is there a way to make the newsletter widget actually work? If so how do you do this. Also when they have signed up is possible to display some sort of pop up message or confirmation? Thanks.

ThemeBeans

Hey Bass – I’m not quite following you here, as the Newsletter widget does work. All you need to do is simply enter your Subscribe Code (which is what MailChimp calls it) into the field. There’s no confirmation message though.

Rich

Its been more than a week, I’ve sent 4 mails including support tickets on your official support page. I didn’t get even a single reply, no response.

My site was live for several days with issues so finally I had to consult another developer just for some basic customizations in the theme.

At first I thought maybe the team is busy, then I thought now its getting delayed due to 4th July, but after I saw that you’re constantly replying here I was shocked.

Your support was the best of all the service providers / designers I ever worked with and that was the reason I was about to buy Spruce & All New Execute, but I have no idea why you’re doing this to me.

Hey Artusion! You’re right about the holiday weekend (and Jon is on his summer vacation with his family as well) – we’re a bit backed up at the moment, but I’ve been flying through them since 5am this morning. What’s your ticket number(s)? I’ll bump yours up.

Cheers, Rich

Artusion

Oh, I’m sorry for the words bro, I got a little upset. Jon & you are rock-stars, you deserve a rocking vacation. I have no idea whats my ticket number, I didn’t get the auto-response email when I raised the ticket. (checked bulk & junk folders too).

ThemeBeans

I found your mail from yesterday, but I’m not seeing anything else since 11 May oddly. I’m not sure why you would not have received an auto-response as well. I’ll look into possible bugs with that.

I’m on it! And thanks :)

Hello,

where I put the pictures in the widget “What We Have Been Working On”

Thank you!

Enrico

ThemeBeans

Hey Enrico! Those are featured images that are pulled from the Portfolio Posts. If you upload a featured image, then it’ll show up in that grid slider there.

Cheers! Rich

Hi Rich, sorry, but I do not understand :-( Do I need to create a specific category in the post, or how does that work?

ThemeBeans

No no, when you create a portfolio post, you need to add a featured image to the post (which is located under the Publish button, and will say “Add Featured Image”). Once you add this, you’ll see your images appear in the widget. Does that make more sense?

Also, I apologize that this comment was delayed. For some reason it had not shown up on the Author Dashboard!

Rich

Hello! I’m working in a client’s website that is using your theme, I didn’t purchase it directly but they sent me the name of the theme they used.

The site has an issue that happens only in Chrome: When the site loads the homepage, it loads fine but a second it finishes loading everything disappears but the logo (and when you scroll down the sticky menu does show up). If you go into any of the interior pages, everything loads just fine, it happens only on the homepage and only in Chrome, Safari and Firefox load the site fine.

I’ve tried deactivating pretty much everything, and the issue persists, and the strange thing is that the same thing happens when I try to load the demo of the theme on your website, also only in Chrome.

Any ideas? I’m on a pretty tight deadline, the site address is http://laagenciamasefectiva.com/

Thank you very much!

ThemeBeans

Hey there, do you mind contacting us through our official Help Center with your details so my team can run some tests for you? We’ll figure it out!

Also, I did notice you’re on a very old version of Krative (1.0) – we’re currently running v1.5.1. You can try removing the “animated BeanFadeIn” class from header.php to see if Chrome will recognize the page load – as I believe that was an issue in the past.

Thanks, Rich

Thank you very much! I know it’s an outdated version, if they can’t find the account used to buy this, I’ll just re buy it and update it.

The removal of the class did the trick, thank you!

ThemeBeans

Awesome! Glad that worked!

Rich

Anyone have any issues lately with the entire website turning black? It initially loads for 2-seconds or so, then turns black.

I disabled all my plug-ins and was able to readily determine the issue is with the built-in Bean Krative Slider. The moment I enable this plug-in (with nothing else enabled), the problem is there, but if I disable this one plug-in, the site loads fineā€”but then of course it loads without the homepage slider.

I have version 1.5. I noticed above the latest version is 1.5.1, but I don’t see that version in the Change Log, nor in the download I just grabbed from Themeforest. Is 1.5.1 different from 1.5? And I thought there were forums on the Bean website (maybe I’m thinking of another template… because I can’t find them).

I did send in a Help ticket. Forums for each theme on the ThemeBeans website would be awesome in my humble opinion, because so many people can help themselves in an instant if there’s an issue they can just look up, instead of submitting an e-mail.

Thanks,ThemeBeans, for such a wonderful theme! Just trying to get some help asap. I was about to launch a campaign but can’t until this is fixed.

ThemeBeans

Hey McCrorjy, Jon is up and running on support, so you should get a response pretty quickly from him. At first thought, try removing the “animated BeanFadeIn” class from the body in header.php, from the #theme-wrapper ID. That may do the trick.

We do have a Help Center with categorized FAQ’s that we get from popular questions, but we’ve moved away from the forum facet of support. All in all we’ve found that dedicated email support channels were more effective at getting answers delivered. On a side note, you’ll notice that a lot of other theme shops have/will be moving towards email support probably by the end of the year.

Cheers! Rich

Hi does anyone have the issues, website not displaying on recent version of Google Chrome?

thanks Sarah

ThemeBeans

Hey Sarah, there’s an issue with the animation fadein. If you look in header.php and pull out the “animation BeanFadeIn” class, it should start appearing again.

We’ll be updating Krative with a permanent fix this week.

Cheers! Rich

Hey Guys,

Any update on that Crome FadeIn issue?

Cheers, Tom

ThemeBeans

Hey Tom! We’ve uploaded an update and it’s currently processing in the queue :)

Thanks guys!

No problem! It went live late last night!

Ehi great theme, I just have a question: can I place a background image (in the inside pages) in the top menu bar? I get a plain blue right now, would be great to have an image.

Thank you

ThemeBeans

Hey there! Glad you like Krative :)

Yup, you can use the ”#header-container” CSS selector and add a background property. For example:

#header-container {
background: url(assets/images/sprite.png)!important;
}
