Nice theme! May i asked where did you purchase the cover photo? :)

CloudEight

Thanks for the kind words Ruben, means a lot :)

I got that cover photo over at PicJumbo under the Technology category. It’s really good for high quality, free to use stock photography.

If you have any other sites you know that offer the same sort of thing which you could send my way, I’d be very appreciative of it!

KrownThemes

Nope, i don’t quite look for images since i’m only developing. But a cool place which is also used a lot for images is Pixeden.

CloudEight

Ok, no worries. I have used Pixeden for resources before, but still, thank you :)

Great theme, it’s very clean!

CloudEight

Thanks for the support! :)

Hi, love the theme – super quick question. How do I change the length of the text excerpt? Thanks – http://coach-mulholland.ghost.io/

CloudEight

Hello, glad you like the theme!

To change the length, open the index.hbs file, and on line 24 (by default) you will see ‘{{excerpt words=”30”}}’, simply change 30 to the value of words you wish to display. Save the file and re upload the theme.

Let me know how it goes :)

Great, worked perfectly, thank you. Just need to change the dns now. The site is coming along. Love this theme. Thank you.

CloudEight

Happy to hear everything is going smoothly for you! If there are any other questions that you have with the theme, don’t hesitate to get in touch.

If you do have a spare minute, if you could rate and review this theme (in your downloads section), it would be greatly appreciated too! Happy blogging :)

I love this theme! Is it a template that can be installed on my wordpress?

CloudEight

Hi, this theme will only work on Ghost for the time being. Currently (key word here), I don’t have any plans to convert to WordPress, however it is something that could potentially happen, but there’s no way I would be able to put a date on it I’m afraid. So for now, it’s just a Ghost theme, so I do apologize!

If you did decide to use Ghost over WordPress you can always migrate over and the process looks quite straight forward: http://www.allaboutghost.com/how-to-import-wordpress-posts-into-ghost/

Hi! Awesome theme—-just bought it and started customizing a bit. How did you get the header to show up smaller on the post pages?

Default-user

never mind, figured it out =]

CloudEight

Apologies for not seeing this in time, glad you managed to get it sorted though!

Hi! I really like your theme. Awesome work! But it seems, on the demo at least, that it doesn’t support the new tags feature.

Does the purchased version integrate this feature? If not, do you plan to upgrade the theme?

Meanwhile I purchased Kyochi ;-)

CloudEight

Many thanks, just noticed your review also, much appreciated! :)

You’re welcome :-)

Love the theme, but is it possible to turn off the fade effect?

CloudEight

Yep, included in the documentation, it guides you through how to customize and disable the animations! :)

Does the theme support tag filtering yet? EDIT – Nevermind. I see that the description states that it does.

CloudEight

Yeah just to double clarify, it does support this feature :)

Great looking theme. Added it to Theme Passion.

Hi,

There is a great theme.

And I will appreciate if you do tags filter like a zenzero theme, and correct the length of tag code

``` sudo aptitude install build-essential libpq-dev python-dev python-setuptools python-virtualenv python-pip python-software-properties ```
I will be submitting a new update later today which will wrap the text correctly in `code` tags. Currently this theme doesn’t support tag features the same way as the zenzero theme, however clicking on a tag on a post will show an indexed page with posts tagged with that specific tag. For example: http://cloudeight-kyochi.ghost.io/tag/responsive/
really nice, good luck;
CloudEight
Thanks again, GrafAS, I appreciate the support! :)
does the theme have syntax highlighting feature?
CloudEight
It currently doesn’t support syntax highlighting, but I am submitting a new version later today which includes improvements to preformatted/code text, so I will look into adding syntax highlighting in this update too!
Nice Job! GLWS! ;)
CloudEight
Thanks man!
wonder full GLWS
CloudEight
Thanks for the support! :)
Looking good! :D
CloudEight
Thanks Reflux! :)
CloudEight
If I remember correctly, it was from picjumbo.com – free stock images :)
Good work!!!
nine09 Purchased
I love this theme so I purchased it. Problem is, I have never used Ghost before, and I have some problems getting it to work on Windows 8.
I followed this official guide: http://goo.gl/kNbZSH and I got to where I have to write npm install—production in the Node.js command. I just get an error message saying: ERROR: ENOENT, stat ‘C:Users\MyUsername\AppData\Roaming\npm’
I have no Idea what this means or how to fix the problem. Could you please help me out?
CloudEight
The easiest way to install Ghost locally on a Windows computer is by using BitNami’s Ghost Installer which can be found here: https://bitnami.com/stack/ghost/installer
Simply follow the instructions, place the IP/Host as localhost or 127.0.0.0, fill in your log in details and then on your hard drive you should have something similar to: C:/BitNami/ghost-[version-number]/apps/ghost/htdocs/content/themes/
Then place the theme in here, restart Ghost using the BitNami software. Log in to your Ghost Admin and in the settings change to this theme. The installer includes Node.js and all other dependencies too.
The CSS is broken on some of the pages in Chrome and Safari on my Mac, shame because the pages that work look great.
CloudEight
Hello, could you possibly link me to a screen shot to demonstrate the broken pages for me?
CloudEight
Hm, very strange. On my demo blog where this theme is hosted, I just re-uploaded the .zip file that comes with this item and it works fine now.
Before it wasn’t finding any of the asset files, I assume it must of been something with the upgrade of Ghost .4 to .5 perhaps. Either way, just re-uploading the theme corrects the problem.
Thank you for bringing it to my attention though!
