As per your question:

1. You can individually assign the images and captions to the main slider. In fact, it is by default that each slide is not related or bound with any posts/pages.

2. You can link the images to whatever URL you would like to. Those images are created using “Image” shortcode and it has the attribute to assign the link URL for the clickable type.

Hi, did you mean “full screen” as one single column instead of having 3 and 4 columns that is showing on the demo? If so, you can create that using shortcode.

I mean is there a way to have a non boxed layout for the homepage slider? I love the way your site is laid out, but our client is looking for a homepage slider like http://s3e2.com/theme-forest/the-palace-wp/ or http://www.ansonika.com/theme_selector/?t=Responsive_Hotel, but the full screen homepage view not boxed. They are only concerned about having a full screen homepage slider and will go with your theme if that is an option or if there is a work around to do this.

1. Yes. On room page, it will list all published rooms by default. And for the reservation form, you can specify which room to be listed by entering the IDs.

2. Yes, you are right. It is basically working like the contact form.

The number of facility items showing on the facility page is not limited. It is the same as the room page which will list all the published items by default.

You can find the texts and permalink slug of rooms in “functions.php” file. Please open the file and find the function named “register_content_rooms()”. You can change the texts there.

Hmm. Honestly I am not quite sure what could cause the 404 issue in this case. What about testing each sitemap link generated by Yoast SEO plugin in the “SEO > XML Sitemap” page on your admin panel? Are all the links working fine? If they are, the cause might be related to the old cache that had the issue.

Thank you for the prompt response regarding this, in case anyone else has the same issue, the solution is to change the sitemap.xml to sitemap_index.xml in the robots.txt file. For some reason Yoast plugin uses site map_index.xml.

Try changing the file extension of the images to lowercase (from “JPG” to “jpg”). For example, your image URL for the first slide is:

http://abctravellershotel.com/mpya/images/flexslider/1.JPG

Change it to:

http://abctravellershotel.com/mpya/images/flexslider/1.jpg

I think it is something about the server configuration in this case. Anyway the above solution should solve the problem.

1. You would need to manually edit the “footer.php” file. Open the file and there you will see the code for the social media links.

2. The same as 1. that you need to edit the “footer.php” file in the same section to add a new link.

3. Please try to remove all slides and click save once. After that, try adding them back again.

For managing the form entries and notification, “Gravity Forms” plugin should suit your requirements. You can see all of its features here: http://www.gravityforms.com/features/ (especially on the “Entry Management” and “Notification” features). Surveying should be achieved by the plugin as well.

Anyway, I personally have never tested the plugin with all those features but I think it should be working in your case. So, if possible, I would also recommend to contact them for getting more details about this.

And for the navigation bar, you can surely change the menu texts to others. But in case you would like to change the name of “custom post types” (like “Rooms”, “Facilities” that come with the theme), you could do that by manually modifying the code in “functions.php” file.

Unfortunately there is no option for changing it globally. You would have to manuallly modify the code in “template-blog-loop.php” file. Please open the file and find the following code (line around 98):

$readmore_button_text = $theme->get_meta_value(
                                        $theme->get_array_value(get_post_meta($post->ID, 'ux_readmore_button_text'), 0), 
                                        UXPostMeta::ux_readmore_button_text_default);

Then instead assign your text into the code and the result should be like:

$readmore_button_text = 'Custom Readmore Text';

Now the button will open a link on new window/tab.

Note that there are 3 locations of the same code in the file.

The feature for opening new tab for the Button shortcode was added in the latest version (3.0). If you are already using version 3.0, you can add an attribute open_new_window=”true” into your Button shortcode so it will be like:

[button link="http://www.bahia-cabarete.com/contact-bahia-residence/" color="steel-blue" size="medium" open_new_window="true"]Book now[/button]

But if you are using any previous version, you would need to manually modify ”/includes/shortcodes/shortcodes.php” file, in the function of “register_button_shortcode()”. There is the code for the anchor tag and you can add “target=”_blank”” into it. But this method will affect other buttons as well so all buttons will open a new window.
