It seems like there is some CSS conflict. I have noted this in the update list. Anyway, to workaround on this at the moment, please go to “Theme Options > More Styles” and enter this following code into the Custom CSS box:

h1, h2, h3, h4, h5 {
     background: none;
}

The code will remove the line from any headings.

Kindly note that I already noted down your comment about Visual Form Builder (problem with Testimonials) and Contact Form 7 (weird button display) issues and I will surely do some testing on that but currently my laptop and test server are not available. I might need to wait until the next Thursday.

I hope I could find the cause and release the fix within the same week.

I inserted the code, but it still didn’t fix the problem. Any other thoughts ? Dave

I also needed to know of a form plug in that will definitely work with your theme. No form plug ins that I have tried work with the theme so far. The built in contact form for your theme is not customizable, so I’m stuck right now. I really don’t want to go looking for a freelancer right now and was hoping for a plug in option.

The code didn’t fix the problem? Did you mean that the line is still there, on every headings, after putting the code into Custom CSS box? This is really strange because I just tested it before giving that to you. What about trying this one:

}

If it still doesn’t work, I just have no idea then. I would really need to take a look on your online website so I can know what causes the problem…

For the plugin question, actually you can use Contact Form 7 on your propose but, as I said, there may be the CSS conflict on the button display and I need to wait until Thursday to reproduce the issue and release the fix, if there is any.

So at the moment, if you do not want to find any freelancer for the customization, I think you would have to try any other plugins as you are doing. Just wondering which plugins have you tried so far and didn’t work with the theme? Could you please list them for me with the problems you got? This would really help me to fix the issue within this week.

In regards to the plug ins that didn’t work – I tried several and honestly can’t remember them all, since I deleted them once I realized they didn’t work. The ones I can definitely rembember are Visual Form Builder, Content Form 7(as descibed previously), and Easy Form builder(Response Email was unable to be built due to conflicts). I did find that I was able to “Jerry-rig” Jot form to work with the theme, but am not sure if this will look okay in the responsive form. I’ll find out the hard way when I upload the site.

I am planning to get the site up this next week and will let you know once it is up.

Separate note: Did you know if there is any way to a line break in your title texts. I tried to space things out and use line breaks, but when viewing the page, the theme puts the text back in one continuous line. Is this possible to do in this theme ?

On a serious note, I want you to know that I really like the theme – a lot. I think its wonderful. Don’t think otherwise. I think with just a few more tweaks, upgrades, etc. it will be even better.

Today I got a chance to test Visual Form Builder plugin with the theme and as far as I could see, there is no problem occurred with theme’s Testimonial shortcode. I added the form into “Homepage” page which has the testimonials and it could work just fine.

Anyway, there are some weird CSS displays with the form like Contact Form 7 plugin (a line through headings, funny submit button display, for examples) and, as mentioned before, I am going to fix those kind of CSS issues within this week.

Now I get confused why the testimonials does not have the issue with Visual Form Builder plugin at my side. Could you please try to re-install WP and the theme on your local server from the ground up? If the problem persists, perhaps I would need to wait for your online website and investigate the issue again.

For the separate note, I am not sure where are the title texts you have mentioned. Could you send me a screenshot for more detail on that?

Also, just wondering which web browser you used to test the site on your local server?

I’m not sure why I have the issue on Visual Form builder and you didnt. I did reinstall and had the same issues. In any case, I ditched the other attempts and just linked my form through Jotform, which seems to be working at present.

In other news, I just put the site up today. It is www.greatbransoncabins.com.

This page is a great example of the issues I am having with the header titles: http://greatbransoncabins.com/about-us/

Look at the bottom at the signature name “Danette”. There is a line that runs straight through it. This is the only page I am using this change in header style because of this. I figure that not too many people will see this, but you can take a look.

BTW, if you are working on upgrading, It would be awesome if you could allow users to change the formatting within the rooms page as we have mentioned before. If you look at my cabins pages(the decriptions), the left side of the page looks so bare…you’ll see what I mean. And one othe upgrade you’ll hopefully make in the future is the testimonial slider having an option on seconds delay. That would be great.

I might include the feature for adjusting the testimonial speed in the update patch of this week but, currently, I do not have a plan to add the feature for formatting the rooms page unfortunately.

For the workaround of your case, you could balance the left column by manually disabling room photo’s slider so all the photos will be stacked up filling the column. To do so, open “single-rooms.php” file then go to the line 20 and you will see the code as:

No need for any admin account, because I have jot form working fine…..So no need to fiddle with something that works right now….with my luck it would break again

P.S. I too also had the same issue as Tsiskreli, with the “Google API rejected….”true or false” mumbo-jumbo”. You can see this happen if you do a web search for my page on a hand held device and then try to go to the website…...I’m not sure what this is all about…..

That heading issue will be included in the fix which is going to be officially released within this week (v2.2). I just sent you the hot updated files in your ticket at http://uxbarn.ticksy.com/ticket/28921. You can upload the files into your installed theme’s directory on your server, replacing any existing ones.

For the Google API “sensor” issue, I could not reproduce the error for debugging. I have tried opening the pages with my iPhone using both 3G and wifi but got no luck to see such error. Everything seems fine.

Anyway, I did some research on that and found some interesting discussion at http://wordpress.org/support/topic/plugin-google-maps-via-store-locator-plus-google-api-sensor-error. After reading that, I then a bit modified the “sensor” parameter for Google API in “functions.php” file and included in the hot update files mentioned above. I think this should solve the problem.

Kindly let me know the result after replacing all of the updated files on your site.

The update worked like a charm. Line no longer through the header, testimonial setting worked, no further API issue that I can see. I didn’t test out the form issues, since I am using Jotform.

Thanks for the updates. I appreciate you supporting your theme, as this is important for us all. I think this should allevate Dahaomine’s concerns as well as any others that were thinking of getting your theme.

I hope in the future, perhaps you could allow us to customize the room pages(change formats throughout the page) to help eliminate the “dead space issue” for the left column. That would be great.

I like your theme very much, but I’m, not hotel but travel agency owner. So I need to have many hotels profiles. I like to use “Rooms” for this.. but… I need modification. 1. to the “Rooms” page I want to add categories, at least like in “gallery” 2. To rooms edit page I want to add SEO pack intups, I switched it on, but there are not shown inputs. 3. to add comments here. How can I do it?

Plus I don’t see in content-gallery.php any maximal number of images per page. I already have 24 images, and if I add more, I don’t want to have unending long gallery page, but splited it into several pages. Is it possible? how?

Honestly, I have no idea about the cause of the error. This issue is difficult to debug since I could not reproduce it. I have tried to open every reported site using my iPhone on 3G network and wifi but got no luck to see such error.

Anyway I found some interesting discussion about it here: http://wordpress.org/support/topic/plugin-google-maps-via-store-locator-plus-google-api-sensor-error. It seems like it might be related to the “sensor” parameter’s position in the query string of Google API.

Please try the following steps:

1.) Open “functions.php” file.

wp_enqueue_script('google-map', 'http://maps.google.com/maps/api/js?v=3.5&sensor=false');

wp_enqueue_script('google-map', 'http://maps.google.com/maps/api/js?sensor=false&v=3.5');

Notice that the position of “sensor” parameter was swapped. I think this should solve the problem.
