Thanks Stammi! Likewise, you did an excellent job with that admin template.. keep up the great work!

I would suggest viewing it in a different browser, or clear your cache in your current browser.

Hey, just bought your template, it’s really nice! ;)

Could you please explain to me how i can get a code like this:

<script src="/widget_user_counter.php?s&t" language="javascript"></script>

Inside a widget in the lower part of the site, where the twitter widget is?

Greetings :)

HisHandiwork

Thanks for buying!

If you are asking for a script that will count the current visitors/users, you can use this tool: http://codecanyon.net/item/simple-user-counter/51112

Does that answer your question?

No, i want to know how i can use this code with the footer widgets, i’ve already bought the script.

HisHandiwork

oh oh, I see. Make sure that the ‘widget_user_counter.php’ file is in the same folder as all the HTML files… the ‘script’ tag is calling it directly from the root of the template.

I am not sure what item you bought, so I wouldn’t know exactly how to setup the rest. If you simply mean how to make another widget below the Twitter widget, you would place the necessary code inside a div with the class ‘widget’ below the Twitter widget. You can add a title by inserting an ‘h3’ tag at the begnning. your widget would look something like this:

<div class="widget">

    <h3>Title</h3>

    Counter Code Here

</div>

Does this answer your question?

Oh, addition to above message, how can i add an RSS feed into such a widget?

Also, while on the subject, would you happen to how i can pull my IP.Board posts from my IP.Board and display them in a footer widget?

Thanks,

Ah, i have found out that i can set up RSS feeds for my latest posts, but how do i place an RSS feed in one of your footer widgets?

HisHandiwork

For the RSS feed widget, this is how you would set it up:

<div class="widget">

    <h3>RSS Feed</h3>

    RSS Feed Code Here

</div>

I hope this answers your question on that… I have never worked with RSS feeds in an HTML template so I wouldn’t know how to set it up, but that’s how you would create the widget. I am not familiar with IP.Board and don’t know if you would be able to pull posts from there. Let me know if this helps.

Hey,

i seem to have a problem with this theme, seems that timthumb.php is not functioning.

See this: http://dl.dropbox.com/u/10989352/error.JPG

This is the code i’m using for the first video (the code that the theme comes with):

<a href="http://vimeo.com/6220122" title="Mountain in Highlands of Scotland" class="f-video vimeo" rel="image-set"><img src="timthumb.php?src=images/large/photo10.jpg&h=110&w=145" alt="Mountain in Highlands of Scotland" /></a>

Could you help me fix it?

HisHandiwork

I sent you an email, let me know your answer.

I am from China, see you this template is very beautiful, with the idea of purchasing, but do not know is the perfect template package, upload plug-ins, can use?

A perfect set of templates, the upload can be used?

HisHandiwork

This is the HTML template, you have to manually add widgets. The WordPress theme will have the option to upload widgets, but that is not ready yet, I am working on that right now.

Thanks, Luke

The Landed!theme is good! We are all like it very much. Can I know when you will ready for it? We are looking forward to use the Landed!theme.

HisHandiwork

I am currently in the process of building the WordPress theme, and will be letting all our Twitter followers know when it is released, so feel free to follow me on Twitter (lukediv is my username).

Thanks!

I’m very interested in this theme but in wp format. It’s awesome!!

Congratulations!! I’ll buy this when you translate to wp. Any date for this?

Regards.

HisHandiwork

Hi acrophet!

We do plan to release the WordPress theme for this template, as far as a date, we are not completely sure. We hope by the end of next month.

Thanks for your interest!

I like this template very much. I’m this close to buying and have one question first. Would it be fairly simple to add the background hover effect to the items in the sub-menu, like the change of background color effect on the main part of the menu? The hover effect on the text alone (in sub-menu) is a little too subtle for my liking but I don’t know how to properly add the background effect to the sub menu links. Could you help with that if I was to purchase?

Thanks for your time!

HisHandiwork

Hi dutchess! Yes, I would be happy to customize the sub menu to have a hover background. Email me through my profile explaining the style you want and I will create it for you.

Thanks for your interest!

Luke for His Handiwork

How much longer until the wp version will be released?

Hi HisHandiwork,

Is the Landed Premium website HTML5 or XHTML ? If XHTML , are you planning on having it modified to html5 anytime soon?

I love the website, but I want to be current and have the ability to use some of the functionality that comes with html5.

I look forward to your response.

Regards,

Chris

Is this style no longer being supported? Looks like there are a couple questions that are dated several months ago w/o contact from the author, and I had a question about the style before I bought it.

Question: I like this template, but like the “popup” from the “Read More” button on the other template: http://themeforest.net/item/landed/163643

Is there a way to have this template use popups like that one instead of going to a different html page?

Default-user

Sounds good Luke, buying now. I like your design and your support. Also visiting your personal site. I’m happy to be doing business with a fellow Christian and I look forward to your site going live later this year. You guys do good work and I hope your business really kicks off.

Default-user

Almost forgot, you said you’d walk me through getting the Read More buttons to use the “popup” feature like the other template (see my original post for the link). How can I use that feature in this theme?

HisHandiwork

I sent you an email, we can work out all the details there. ;)

Thanks! Luke

Hi Luke Thanks for the theme, it has worked out really well for my project. The only problem I have is; I have put a Facebook icon in the footer, but the XHTML 1.0 Strict wont allow me to set the target=”_blank” I really want the target to open in in a new window, is there any way round this? Thanks Neil

Hi. Love this theme. Excellent work. I am wondering how I can get a button to call a fancybox image. Instead of linking from an image to an image I want an inline text button to open the fancy box. Could you show me how this is done?

Actually I figured it out. Thanks! Sorry to bother.

It should be noted that the Twitter feed no longer works with this theme. Twitter changed their API to 1.1 and they are wanting to do sever side authentication (vs client). This means new code is required for setting it up (and integrating it properly into the site). The current code is outdated and will not work.
