This is a very nice theme! So clean and refreshing! Good luck with sales!

feeleep

Thanks a lot mate!

Are the colors customizable?

feeleep

Yeap, this theme is “equipped” with one-click color switcher; users should pick basic color while main navig drop-downs, links and hovers or lines are automatically calculated and applied. Title color and sizes can be changed, background color as well, you can upload custom bg via theme Options and tile it…

Can add portfolio or gallery page on it?

feeleep

You don’t have to announce the price of a product with JigoShop so certain product categories may become galleries. However, instead of a price there will be message reading “Price Not Announced” and this product can’t be purchased.

Looks great, best of luck with sales :)

feeleep

Thanks Chris!

are you able to changeout textures in the white part of the background in the middle?

feeleep

Yes you can remove body background image and use plain color if you like. Or, of course, upload your own bg image from theme Options page.

Great job feeleep

Thanks a lot for the support, I appreciate it!

is it possible to empty the ‘add to cart’ feature, since for this moment, i only want to use this template/website for my CD audio sermon catalog for my church.

2nd. is it possible to add banner/something for advertising slot ? thank you

feeleep

1. Don’t enter product price and stock, that’s how Add to Cart will not be visible.

2. It is possible but depends on where exactly you are about to place it. Essentially, you can add Text Widget to any sidebar and paste Advertising code (if any) which would be an easiest method.

i have to put the price, because it’s like the showroom of our product, but i can empty the stock. is it possible ? i mean, with including the price and excluding the stock, the ‘add to cart’ sign will be off ? thank you.

feeleep

If the product has price declared it’ll automatically add Add to Cart button. That’s just how it works.

I am thinking about buying this for a client who wishes to sell music online. What I like about this theme is the ability to add audio short codes. So my question is, will the audio shortcodes work in the product pages of Jigoshop? Meaning, he lists a track for sale, on that track page there is a sample audio file to listen to (30 secs) as a preview. Can this be done? Nice job – very clean theme and excellent choice of fonts.

feeleep

Of course that audio or any other theme available shortcode works with products too! But I can’t speak for sure whether audio player can be displayed in Product preview/summary (category page where multiple products are listed).

Hello

I have a few questions regarind it. This cart can have these features:?

1. Easy adding products with many images. One main image and others (5 images) as a mini gallery

2. Produse similare / din aceeasi categorie / cine a cumparat acest produs a mai cumparat si…, top 10 produse vandute (cu posibilitatea de management)

3. Top 10 products sold by the store (this feature to be edited by the webmaster – yes you may say that this is not correct but we want to influience the sales editing the top ten).

4. Similar products. Who puchased the produc X also purchased the produc Y and Z

5. Products tag

6. Product description

7. Other product features. Like: T-shirt with different colours, sizes, cotton or sintetic, etc

8. Changind the product colour with simple click on the palette with other colours

9. SEO firendly

10. A product to be a part of at least two categories

11. NEXT and PREVIOUS product navigation buttons when visualise a product.

12. recent visualised products

13.Side bar filtering products (example: price range, colours, or other feature)

14. First page product listing

15. Discounts on first page

Thanks

Replied to your email half an hour ago. There’s really no need to post the same question here too.

Hi – Have set up a site using this theme (Love it!!!!) but cannot find where to change the color on the “Hovered” or “Active” menu. No problem with finding the main color but when they’re hovered the font is white. No good where you have a white background.

Can you point me in the right direction please :) http://frankiesfolly.com.au/

Cheers, Scott.

feeleep

You actually don’t set it up manually. Once you select main color scheme from theme Options, “hovers” and “actives” HEX is calculated automatically. However, if you are about to make it up manually, try the following…

Open “stylesheets/style.php” file and watch lines #44 thru #52:

.ddsmoothmenu ul.sub-menu { background-color: <?php echo hex_shift( of_get_option( 'lathika_colorscheme_header' ), 'down', 10 ); ?>; }

.ddsmoothmenu ul li ul li a { border-bottom: 1px dashed <?php echo hex_shift( of_get_option( 'lathika_colorscheme_header' ), 'up', 5 ); ?>; }

.ddsmoothmenu ul li.current-menu-item a,
.ddsmoothmenu ul li a.selected,
.ddsmoothmenu ul li a:hover,
.ddsmoothmenu ul li.current-menu-item ul.sub-menu li a.selected,
.ddsmoothmenu ul li.current-menu-item ul.sub-menu li a:hover { color: <?php echo hex_shift( of_get_option( 'lathika_colorscheme_header' ), 'up', 50 ); ?>; text-shadow: 0 0 0 <?php echo hex_shift( of_get_option( 'lathika_colorscheme_header' ), 'up', 50 ); ?>; }
..all of colors are generated dynamically so you’ll have to kinda hard-code it instead.
Will you be able to do it on your own?

Hi Feeleep – Some help would be great.

I’ve changed the ddsmoothmenu.css back to what it was. So now as my client wants a white colour scheme (including the header), I will need some modifications to the menu.

The frankies Folly text is hex#57201d. I’d like to use this for the main menus and sub.

Cheers Again. Scott.

feeleep

There was no need for rolling back “ddsmoothmenu.css” at all, however, I guess you had a good reason for that.
OK…
Both site header and main menu are affected by color scheme switcher and white primary color will cause menu to look …uhmm …white.
So try to do the following:

1. open “stylesheets/style.php” and take a look at the lines #44 thru #52. All of them are used to define main menu bg color, hover color and bottom border. As you’ll be able to see, colors are assigned dynamically by shifting primary color up or down.
I guess you will have to disregard dynamic values and hardcode preferred colors!

2. frankies Folly or Folly are not found in Google web fonts library and this theme is capable to load fonts only from there. I’m not sure how did you mean to embed new font library to site, however, one thing is obvious; you’ll need to add font-family prop to “ddsmoothmenu.css”, line #48. For example:

.ddsmoothmenu ul li a {
    color: #FFFFFF;
    display: block;
    line-height: 1.5;
    padding: 0;
    text-decoration: none;
    text-shadow: 0 0 0 #FFFFFF;
   font-family: "Frankies Folly", Georgia, serif;
}

My friendly advice: find similar font in Google web fonts repository.

I have a problem with the product image NOT being resized correctly. It’s a little bigger than on your demo. I changed the media settings as it says in the manual, but for some reason, it’s about 20px too wide. As a result, it’s forcing the product text block downward underneath the photos rather than to the right of it as in your demo. Is this a bug? Or does the featured image have to be a certain size?

ispyppc Purchased

I actually figured out the problem. I needed to tick “Disable Jigoshop frontend.css” under the Jigoshop General settings tab. I didn’t see that in the manual—so you might want to include that for others in your setup guide. :)

feeleep

I’m glad to read you’ve figured it out! And instead of updating manuals I’ll add this tip to theme’s FAQs. Thanks!

Is there any way to turn off the lightbox from the featured products items on the home page and just have the images link directly to the products? It’s a bit annoying.

feeleep

That’s a little bit tricky to explain… in general you can’t make an exception. If you want to make product thumbnails hotlink to product details, it’ll be applied to all, not just those displayed on home page.
Would you like me to change that for you? Or maybe you are skilled enough to handle it on your own…

File that needs to be edited: “administration/jigoshop_overrides.php”, line #179

if (!function_exists('jigoshop_template_loop_product_thumbnail_lathika')) {
    function jigoshop_template_loop_product_thumbnail_lathika( $post, $_product ) {
        $thumb_id = 0;
        if (has_post_thumbnail()) :
            $thumb_id = get_post_thumbnail_id();
            echo '<div class="entry-media portfolio-item"><a href="'.wp_get_attachment_url($thumb_id).'" class="zoom" rel="thumbnails">';
            the_post_thumbnail('thumbnail');
            echo '</a></div>';
        else :
            echo jigoshop_get_image_placeholder( 'shop_large' );
        endif;
    }
}
By default, thumbnails are linked to image large size and displayed in Lightbox. Product permalink should be used instead and class “zoom” needs to be removed.

Thanks. It’s exactly what I needed. :)

feeleep

You welcome! Glad to read that you can handle it on your own!

I keep getting this error

Warning: Invalid argument supplied for foreach() in /home/hammertimedesign/lilmeesh.com/wp-content/themes/sofa_lathika_jigo/administration/custom_sidebars.php on line 22

Any ideas?

feeleep

To be honest, I have never seen it before so my friendly advice is to create a temp Admin account for me and send login credentials to my private email address (don’t forget to include brief description of a problem). I’ll take a look and figure out what is going on.

First off, this is a nice theme—I’m enjoying everything so far, however, I have an issue that I can’t seem to resolve.

My footer is not working. I want it just like what you have on your demo site, however, the footer links refuse to show up—instead, the main menu links shows up even though I already have the footer menu assigned in the Menus section.

Can you help? My website is nyhvo.com

feeleep

That’s very strange and at this point I can’t figure out what might be wrong. Be sure that your main menu is named “Main Menu” and the one in footer – “Footer Menu”. These names are “reserved” and MUST be used.
Other than that, feel free to create a temp Admin account for me and send login credentials to my private email address. I’m sure it can be puzzled out!

Hey! Thanks, that totally worked. Where did it say to use “Footer Menu”?

Now I have another questions… I am unable to get sidebars to show up in my Blog http://www.nyhvo.com/blog (which is a category). I tried creating a new sidebar but it only allows me to assign sidebars to Pages and not categories… any ideas?

feeleep

That’s correct, sidebar maker allows you to create and assign custom sidebar to Page(s) only while blog/news category MUST use default one. It’s some sort of tech limitation.

Tried to install the theme but it would not upload and required the following:

The package could not be installed. The theme is missing the style.css stylesheet.

Any tips?

feeleep

Sure! You can’t install download package! The file that you downloaded from Themeforest is not an installation file, unzip it first to a local drive then open unzipped folder. You gonna find “sofa_lathika_jigo.zip” inside (and READ ME txt) which should be used as theme installation file.

Hi There,

I would like to replace the zoom feature on the images to product link, which part of the code should I change and change it too?

if (!function_exists(‘jigoshop_template_loop_product_thumbnail_lathika’)) { function jigoshop_template_loop_product_thumbnail_lathika( $post, $_product ) { $thumb_id = 0; if (has_post_thumbnail()) : $thumb_id = get_post_thumbnail_id(); echo ‘ ’; the_post_thumbnail(‘thumbnail’); echo ‘ ’; else : echo jigoshop_get_image_placeholder( ‘shop_large’ ); endif; } }

feeleep

First of all, you have to know that each image used as a link casts that hover effect so it must be dropped for all images – exceptions can’t be made.
1. open “javascripts/helpers.js”, scroll down to line #123
2. delete all the code between lines #123 and #148
3. save “helpers.js” and re-upload to server (FTP) if edited on local machine

Next, you will have to re-link product thumbnail so it points to product details page instead of large view…
1. open “administration/jigoshop_overrides.php” and go to line #174. There’s a function reading:

if (!function_exists('jigoshop_template_loop_product_thumbnail_lathika')) {
    function jigoshop_template_loop_product_thumbnail_lathika( $post, $_product ) {
        $thumb_id = 0;
        if (has_post_thumbnail()) :
            $thumb_id = get_post_thumbnail_id();
            echo '<div class="entry-media portfolio-item"><a href="'.wp_get_attachment_url($thumb_id).'" class="zoom" rel="thumbnails">';
            the_post_thumbnail('thumbnail');
            echo '</a></div>';
        else :
            echo jigoshop_get_image_placeholder( 'shop_large' );
        endif;
    }
}
2. Remove “zoom” class from anchor and replace HREF with permalink:

if (!function_exists('jigoshop_template_loop_product_thumbnail_lathika')) {
    function jigoshop_template_loop_product_thumbnail_lathika( $post, $_product ) {
        $thumb_id = 0;
        if (has_post_thumbnail()) :
            $post_perma = get_permalink( $post->ID );
            echo '<div class="entry-media portfolio-item"><a href="'.$post_perma.'" rel="thumbnails">';
            the_post_thumbnail('thumbnail');
            echo '</a></div>';
        else :
            echo jigoshop_get_image_placeholder( 'shop_large' );
        endif;
    }
}
3. save “jigoshop_overrides.php” and re-upload to server (FTP) if edited on local machine

Lemme know if you are stuck with it!
