There was an issue with the last version of the theme where the dark style’s icons weren’t present. It’s fixed now, and you can redownload the theme for free from the downloads section of your account.
Then, you just need to upload the theme folder to your WordPress installation (if you do it through the WordPress admin, you may have to select the theme under Appearance, but all of your settings should be intact).
Getting this error:
“The package could not be installed. The theme is missing the style.css stylesheet.
Theme install failed.”
Can I save as another theme name when fixed so I can switch back to my “old” Launch if issues? Thanks!
Make sure to only upload the theme and not the entire themeforest download. If you still get an error afterwards, rename the launch folder to something else (like launch-new).
Also, make sure to backup the current launch folder just in case.
Perfect theme for a single app. Not for a website with many apps. The dots in the upper right corner are not enough. Many people would not see it. They would look for it in the menu. Is there a way to link to one specific app? For example the link you enter for the appstore should link to the app page itself. Would be handy to directly link to an app.
@arminius_josh: I had the same “missing the style.css ” issue. My solution was: don´t use the theme uploader. Use ftp.
I’ll look into the dots issue, but there isn’t a way to link to specific apps as of now.
For future reference on the theme uploader in WordPress, if you upload the entire themeforest download, and not just the theme folder, you’ll get that error. The uploader could be finicky and still give errors when just uploading the theme folder, but it should work correctly when doing the above.

David, I’m a user of Launch. I’ve added new pages but don’t want them to appear in the Main Nav Menu. How can I exclude and just include in the footer? Also, when uploading image to Android device, it does not scale corrected. See link:
