How do you change the color of the top menu and all the other blue stuff please? How can I make the template wider please?

1. If you are an experienced user, then you should know that whith virtuemart usually users have some problems, virtuemart itself is not perfect*(its not so easy like Word Press). 2. We have weekends and we are not required to provide support, but we provide support for that users who behaves adequately.

1. I had to work in the weekends because your template is full of bugs. 2. Thank you for removing my previous comment. 3. You should not sell templates full with bugs. VM was always running perfectly but with your template it’s a real nightmare. 4. Do you read the comments on this template and see how many people have issues with this? 5. I abandoned this template because it’s taking all my time and I already lost a customer with this buy.

I also find that template is ignoring settings of VM “show price even if out of stock”. It doesn’t show if stock is zero. I think this is a real bug (have to fix out that check directly in code)...
Is anybody home?

Hi, I’ve upgraded VirtueMart to the latest version, and now Categories do not show up!!

Are you using a lot of CORE HACKS in your template?

I’ve turned Error Reporting to full and am getting the following errors on the page: Notice: Trying to get property of non-object in Notice: Trying to get property of non-object in …/components/com_virtuemart/views/category/view.html.php on line 83

Please advise Urgently how to fix this.

We do not use hacks, specifically in order to be able to easily upgrade. But for some reason everyone update com_virtuemart.2.0.20b and immediately com_virtuemart.2.0.20b_ext_aio. But here’s the problem On frontede shop I use built-ins virtuemart modules – mod_virtuemart_cart , mod_virtuemart_product and mod_virtuemart_manufacturer. I upgraded exactly them, in order that the site had the look of what he has. I did not think that there will be difficulties, so that after the update, reinstall these modules. In the near future I will alter modules and all will be ok.

Complaint filled with Envato. The item is malfunctioning and is “not as advertised”.

I wanted to take a moment and update my various posts. It took a while but the author finally did get MOST of my issues taken care of.

I actually had to use the quickstart as I was NEVER able to get the piece-by-piece version to function correctly. That also meant I had to painstakingly get into the original database and export/import the data into the new installation. <—not for the faint of heart or impatient.

I was able to make most of the modifications needed by my client thanks to the author and wanted to publicly say “Thank You”!

Dear all,
i’ve a problem with https link in my site:

When I click on show cart (“Mostra carrello”) after I ‘ve selected a product, I have a connection error. I have the same problem with all the other HTTPS links.
If I disable in Shop -> Configuration -> Enable SSL for sensitive areas (recommended), all links are working properly.
Could you help me?

Hi, I noticed the template doesn’t have any provision or page for a registered user to change their password. Anyone please help in providing this page so that it can be plugged in to the template. Hope you understand that changing of password is a important functionality for the shopper. Thanks.

Hello. There is a page of this kind in virtuemart, where kastomer logged in can change his data (password) – http://artstudioworks.net/lcshoping/index.php/my-acount/editaddress You can also use the page in Joomla. Create a menu item and select a page to register in Joomla, not in the store.

Hi, Thanks for the quick response. The page link provided by you, allows only address related details to be modified. It does not allow the shopper to change the password who is logged in. Do you have the page/code where this can be done so that I can avoid writing code for this critical and basic functionality? If yes or anyone else has it, please pass it on I would be very grateful.

Hello, Through this page you can change the kastomer details and and password http://artstudioworks.net/lcshoping/index.php/my-account , created a user account with a single password changed it on the page and you dont need to change other parts.

I just downloaded last themeforest-3936656-lcshopping-responsive-virtuemart-template.zip, do i really have to use jos_ prefix for the db table ?

I tried with something else but nothing working.

You should let user to use their own table prefix, since this is the FIRST to do to secure your website -> change the db table prefix ! First recommandation from Akeeba !

Hello. With quick installation from fullpack, You specify the tables prefix , which you want. In simple data are using #_ . And in a phased installation using prefix jos . So there should not be a problem.
