good luck with sales
Often people go very graphical on the restaurant themes, it’s nice to see a clean minimal one.
I appreciate that!
very cool… I’m going to have to open a restaurant so I can use this theme!
awesome! good luck with the sales.
Nice job. Nice job. I’m twisting the hair back and forth on my mu-stache as we speak.
I don’t know why but that font does not look good on my screen
I’m hearing the windows version of chrome has font rendering issues, which is odd since these are Google fonts. The good news is these fonts are both customizable AND optional, so it’s easy to change if you’re overly concerned about it.
Thanks for the feedback!
Due to feedback about Google custom fonts not displaying nicely in Google Chrome (go figure), I’ve decided to turn off the custom fonts effect in the demo. This is still a feature you can choose to use if you like.
awesome job on here… good luck!
Really clever and nicely put together!
Is the WP demo content xml included?
Thanks! Yes, demo content XML included.
Awesome design – great file – this will sell like crazy. Such a lack of truly original themes ion the field. Great work
I don’t have any problems with that Thanks!
Just noticing that in Chrome, the image icons next to Menu items don’t appear ..
Strange, thanks for the heads up! I’ll check it out
I updated the theme to address that issue. You can grab the updated version on your downloads page. Thanks for the heads up again!
*edit – Duh! Nevermind.
Great job, good luck with sales
Really good one!
Good luck with sales!
Reservations could have been ALOT better than a simple link to open table. You could have built in a form at minimum. – Page transitions aren’t very smooth…. I think overall its a bit boring.
There is a form on the contact page, which is probably the easiest thing to do in WordPress. I decided to link to OpenTable for multiple reasons, the main reason being that is the preferred method of making reservations among 5 star restaurants in almost every major city in the US.
Regarding page transitions, what isn’t smooth? Keep in mind this theme isn’t using AJAX , it’s an effect to inform users the page is loading, so there isn’t an actual transition occurring.
I appreciate the criticism, but maybe would have been better to email me instead of posting publicly like this. Just comes off a bit rude and looks like you just enjoy complaining about peoples hard work IMO .
Definitely original but hard to read on a phone without zooming in which shouldn’t be necessary these days. Tested on Android OS too or just iOS? With the Android simulator available freely, you used it right (if you don’t own any actual hardware)?
If restaurant patrons still have to zoom / scroll like a PDF then from their perspective, how is this better than a PDF ? Obviously, I can spot some technical benefits but that’s from my perspective though.
Great feedback, thanks!
very nice theme!
Nice theme but I’m having issues viewing it on Android. Will a mobile-friendly / responsive version be made available do you think?
Very likely, yes
Apparently this is a Google Chrome issue in the way it displays Google custom fonts, which is extremely strange.
Having a bit of difficulty with the dummy content import, nothing is coming up in the options panel.
edit: dummy content (pages, posts, images) all load. option panel does not match help .doc or load any theme related options.
