Hello,

I really love this! however i can’t work out how the blog/news would work? If you could give me some advice that would be great :o) thanks
Hi Weena,
you must leave the small-col div and simply delete the div content.
About the color you can change the main background adding a background-color proprieties under body tag, there are also 2 image for the top and the side background under #content and body tag, you can modify these with the psd included with the main zip file.
If you need more help send me an email with the contact form on my profile page here

Ryan Merriman’s official site now proudly uses this template

Hello,
I’ve just finished populating my website with information and now I’m starting to convert it into a dynamic website. I’ve used PHP includes for the header, navigation and footer and other common parts of the webpage so I can separate them out into different files, However I was wondering about the ‘Portfolio’ section. Does anyone have any tutorials on how you would convert this into a PHP based section? I’m new to PHP and only know the basics but I am happy to learn and I don’t really want to use a CMS for this project, If anyone has any links to tutorials then it would be greatly appreciated.
Love the layout, Regards – Arron.
Hi Simone,
First of all: your theme is awesome!
Can’t wait for the wordpress edition.
Is it still coming?
Bart
Would also love a wordpress version. Been waiting a long time to convert Ryan Merriman’s site to wordpress but never really found an appropriate theme. This theme would just be perfect. Awaiting patiently for a wordpress version

Found a little tweak. Since I’ve got a big portfolio on the site, I’d prefer it that on the first load not ALL files are shown (by default) because that would slow down the site considerably.
In css/style.css add an empty class:
.now{}
In portfolio.html, after (line 58 – 59):
return false;
});
Add the following:
$j('ul#filter a.now').click();
In portfolio.html, in the portfolio navigation links. Add to the category that you want to show up on first load:
class="now"
For example:
<li class="current"><a href="#" class="now">portfolio</a></li>

It’s not 100% perfect, the portfolio still hangs a bit a the start, especially in Chrome but it’s definitely an improvement.
question before i buy, on the portfolio section, when you get down to the indiv. page, can you have multiple images? or are you limited to only one?
thank mike
thanks!, do you happen to have an example online with multiple images there?
Guitarismo,
I have uploaded the template to my domain, but the font replacement doesn’t seem to be working. Can you help me out?
My URL is www(dot)wearecirca(dot)com if you want to check it out.
Thanks for your time.

Another vote for WordPress! Thanks!!
Hey need some help how do I link my twitter to the website ? I dont get this jquery stuff !
Hi Any news on the WP version, Im holding out for that. Thanks
I am thinking about buying this. Will the blog work as is without using wordpress? What about the comments that are on the example? Are those possible without wordpress?
Hello! This is my first purchase. I need to know how could do that the template is displayed in the center of the screen. The default is loaded from top LEFT corner. Thanks. (Text translated with robots)
Hi Simone!
Top-notch template, just a bit stuck…
I need to change one of the portfolio categories from one word to two.
For instance webdesign or photography needs to be:
architectural corporate
or
architectural & corporate
I have done a replace and find all but it does not pull any pictures through…
any ideas?
THANKS !
Alex
Hi, I emailed you in private but I’m having some issues with fonts management across browsers, especially with Firefox and Chrome.
Safari shows the site 100% properly, if you can compare the “About us” page on those 3 platforms and see the difference.
