Hi Reidknorr,

very nice theme, I’m interesting in buying it.

I need this theme for a photo project. I need to add comment field and social links to every photo from portfolio, this is possible?

Thanks

Hello!

Thank you for your interest in Leap! Currently this feature is not supported, but we do offer custom development. If this is something you are interested in, please drop us a message through our profile page. Thanks!

I posted the following 9 days ago and am still awaiting a response…

I bought this theme today and there are a couple of things I would like to know how to do if you can help? How do I create the Personal Blog(1), Portfolio(2) and Built for Mobile(3), block? I can’t find anything in the documentation and in the features link of the live preview how do it. How do you make the first page of the blog only display an extract and not full post until you click to read more? The logo I have doesn’t centre in the space as yours does despite trying lots of different sizes. I thought the image I was using was too big so I found some earlier dimensions you put on here however the made the header shrink and my logo bleed in the area below. I would just like it to sit centred vertically alongside the navigation – please advise. Is there a way to have most recent posts (extracts) displaying on the static homepage? If so, how?

Hello,

The boxes you see on the homepage were simply built with the shortcodes that are included with Leap. Each content section is a one third column. (Ex. [one_third]Content[/one_third] etc.)

In order to add the styled numbers with the headings, the code would look somethings like this: <h3><span class=”num_single” >1.</span>Personal Blog</h3>

You control how much of each post is displayed with the placement of the <! -more- > tag built into Wordpress.

The key to having the logo centered is to make sure that the logo is cropped proportionately. This will help if and when scaling is required to display the logo.

Currently to have the most recent posts displayed on the static homepage you simply need to add a widget that displayed recent posts. Keep in mind this may take some extra styling or coding to achieve the precise results you are looking for.

I hope this helps! If you have any further questions you may reply here or drop us an email through our profile page. :)

Is there a way to put a swf file in the portfolio? Since you use the featured image for the portfolio I’m not sure how I would make that happen.

Thank you.

Hello,

It appears that there may be some sort of conflict with a plugin you are running. Have you temporarily disabled any of your plugins to see which one may be breaking it?

Thanks,

Reid

Is there a way to put a swf file in the portfolio? Since you use the featured image for the portfolio I’m not sure how I would make that happen.

Also, is there a way in the portfolio to make all those images the same size but then have the images when you click them whatever size they need to be.

Thank you.

Hello,

Thank you for the purchase. Both of these requested features do not come standard, however, if we get enough requests it may be something that we could look into adding for future versions.

Thanks,

Reid

Hi, I’m currently using this theme at www.livingfoods.ie but I am having some trouble with the footer overlapping with the content. You can see it happening on this page: www.livingfoods.ie/contact. Could you advise what I can do to fix this problem? Many thanks.

Hi, I’m also having a problem with the social media icons, they are adding the site’s address to the beginning of the facebook/twitter links.

Hi Reid! Can you help me with the Category Widget? I want it to look like this please then I’m all set.

I don’t like how the categories and sub categories just in one line. I wan’t the sub categories indented and if possible to add bullets before the category names

Thanks!

Hi,

I just bought your theme and I find it amazing, thank you!

One question: how can I get the logo with mine website name instead of Leap?

Hello!

Can you tell me how to make a bulleted section when writing a post? It is not working right now (or a numbered list for that matter).

Thanks

Please see reply below.

Hi, still need help on this. This part of the CSS is overriding any of the standard WP bullets. There also are no images for the bullets that are being pulled in. There are some formatting issues as well with this so I’m wondering what I can do to get either these bullets to work or get the standard ones on WP to engage? Thanks! /* LIST */ ul.list { border-top:1px solid #BEBEB8; list-style:none; margin-bottom:20px; }

ul.list li { list-style:none; border-bottom:1px solid #BEBEB8; padding:5px 0 5px 0; }

ul.check li { padding-left:35px; background:url(../images/list_icons_sprite.png) 5px -58px no-repeat; }

ul.x li { padding-left:35px; background:url(../images/list_icons_sprite.png) 5px -133px no-repeat; }

ul.arrow li { padding-left:35px; background:url(../images/list_icons_sprite.png) 5px -211px no-repeat; }

So does this mean I have to do this for EVERY POST I need the bulleting in? :(

Default-user

I’m aware of how to write the code for lists and bullets, I just didn’t want to have to do it in each post that I need it for in the HTML. This is unfortunate that there are no changes that can be made in CSS that I can figure out to make it static and able to be called upon.

reidknorr

I can certainly work with you to re-establish the default lists and bullets if that is what you want. When we built Leap we decided to “upgrade” the default lists and make the new ones with shortcodes. If you’d like some help getting the default ones back, drop me an email and I will work with you on doing that. :)

Is there some kind of padding on the logo.png in the CSS ? I can’t find it, but I created my own logo and uploaded it and there is a gap at the top when it is rendered on the page. http://www.forexaffiliatecoach.com I need to move it up a little bit.

reidknorr

Hi,

Try entering this into the custom css area of the Leap Admin Panel:

#header { padding-bottom: 20px; }

Let me know if that helps!

Hi there,

On editing the homepage content:

I have set a static homepage set with the “homepage” template, which allows me to create content using the homepage widgets. However, I want to be able to create content using HTML. Where can I input the HMTL? (The only way I was able to get the HTML to show up is by changing the template from “homepage” to something else, but then this removes the homepage widgets, etc.) Also, when I add custom CSS in the Leap theme, it’s not showing up. Is there a way to customize the homepage text? Please advise. Thanks!

reidknorr

1) Simply add a text widget to the widgetized homepage and then input as much custom HTML as you like! :)

2) Where were you inputting the custom CSS and what were the nature of the changes you were trying to make?

Hi,

Love the theme. Is it possible that you could change the menu on a mobile version to a drop down menu please.

Thanks

reidknorr

Unfortunately that feature isn’t included at this time, sorry!

Hi Reid,

I left a comment 3 days ago but I see there are comments from a month ago that haven’t been addressed. Are you going to be able to answer these inquiries soon? Your help would be greatly appreciated! Or if there are instructions on formatting possibilities that came with the theme download that I’m overlooking, please let me know! Thanks

I uploaded into Wp and it says the style sheet is missing.

What do I have to do to get this working?

Hi Reid,

Got it to work! need some help with some of the elements and shorts codes.

How do I get a single column and remove the categories section from the right?

And from your example site here http://ireed.net/leap/

How do I get the number options you have in this example?

How do I get the 3 column section, with the small graphics and center align them?

How do I remove the Homepage text from the top of my homepage?

How do I add the contact form with the other items exactly like in your example?

One of your demo sites also had a slider at the top, how do I add that?

How do I add the click on drop down options?

How do I add the social channel button?

Can’t wait to get this up and online, it’s an awesome theme.

Cheers, John

Hello,

Thank you for your purchase and interest in Leap. Thankfully we have created an in depth documentation file covering most of these topics. I also highly recommend installing the sample xml data as it gives you many examples of the shortcodes and content we use to get you started. If you have further questions, do not hesitate to email me directly through my profile page and I can assist you further. Thanks! :)

I’m getting lots of spam through the Contact Form built-in to Leap – doesn’t it use Akismet ?

reidknorr

Akismet is designed to be used primarily for comments. While our contact form is secure, we recommend using a more advanced contact form plugin if you are experiencing issues.

Hi Support – we have bought this theme and love it – however we’re running into a problem – we’re adding a large number of images to the portfolio as you’ll see http://bubonik.com/

this is causing loading issues – I installed a pagination widget but it won’t work … any suggestions or is this theme just not designed for this kind of project?

reidknorr

Thank you for your purchase. I took a look at your site when you still had it set up with Leap. Due to the extensive content, it appears that without some further coding or a plugin to dynamically load more photos when you scroll down the page, Leap is probably not the best fit for that vast amount of content. If you have any further questions please let me know. Thanks!
