I like the color schemes. It makes it easy to visualize a custom experience. Good luck on sales!

cmsmasters

Thanks a lot! We really added them to help people see what it can look like with other colors.

Love this theme. is there any way to disable the animations on the home page?

cmsmasters

Thank you for being interested in Leskanor! Sure, there is a way to disable animations on your page, and in fact it is rather easy to do this.

Thank you, should there be any other questions please feel free to ask!

I just bought your theme. how do i do this? or can i make them only animate once then stay on?

cmsmasters

Hi again, glad to hear you have chosen Leskanor!

To make your animations work only once when a page is opened, please proceed to a jquery.inview.js (leskanor/js/query.inview.js) file and remove a piece of code as shown on the screenshot open the screenshot.

Thank you!

Nice theme! Best of luck with sales :)

Thank you! It is important for us to hear your feedback, as when we create our products, we believe they should be useful to our customers. Love to hear you liked Leskanor!

Your demo gives the impression that there are alternate css sheets which allow you to change the colour scheme. I see absolutely no reference to this anywhere, nor is there any reference in the docs.

You know, suckers like me might buy this thinking (on the basis of a demo that illustrates such) that someone took the trouble to create alternate colour stylesheets and be extremely disappointed.

cmsmasters

Thanks for contacting!

As to the color schemes – in fact what you see on the demo site, is a style changer the authors usually add to show what a template can look like with different color schemes. You can have any colors you need, and if you need to replicate one of the color schemes from the style changer, you should take the style.css and fonts.css files and do the Ctrl+F search for each of the default colors replacing them with the one you need, You can perform search-and-replace for all occurances of each color at once.

Thank you, hope this will be helpful!

Default-user

Helpful? Not in the least, no.

Simply searching for the colours (doh, I’d never have thought of that) and replacing them isn’t the issue (it doesn’t work anyway, as my subsequent comment explains). It was the suggestion in the display that there were several different pre-configured schemes, when in fact it’s all DIY.

cmsmasters

Please contact our support and our support team will help you with this, just please specify the colors you need to have – submit a ticket.

Thank you.

You have a logo png which is used at reduced size, but does not resize at different browser sizes. It is in a div that does not resize either.

Adjacent to this you have the social icons, another div / set of images that don’t resize.

As the browser gets smaller they simply slide across the screen until the collide and the logo pushes the social icons underneath. The logo floats left, the social icons right. It looks very messy.

Can you please fix this? As a minimum the logo shoudl resize, or at least sit centrally once the res drops. The logo and social bits shouldn’t be playing push-shove on scree.

cmsmasters

Thanks for contacting!

Also thank you for pointing this issue out for us, Right now we are uploading an update to Themeforest that will center Logo and the Social Icons, as they were initially meant to be positioned this way. Please allow it some time to get approved and download the updated archive. You will need to substitute the adaptive.css file.

Thank you!

Also, please include full instructions on how to change colours and also create a way to ensure they change correctly. What I mean is;

Change the nav background colour in html (where you specify colours, for some reason) from the default to another (say to #ecf0f1), then go into style.css and change the colours there, but don’t use ecf0f1 as the colour of your first nav colour.

When you view the result, the colour of the first nav item is the nav background colour until after you mouseover the menu, at which point it will then change to the colour you specified in html.

In other words, correct the oddity which means that the nav background colours will not show correctly unless you specify the bacground as the same as the first nav item colour…which I don’t want to do.

Default-user

It’s dead simple. To explain, using your own documentation:

“7. Background Color of header is depends on current page…. ....or you can write custom background color of header in html: “

Follow your own instructions to set a custom background colour. It doesn’t work until after you mouseover the nav menu, otherwise the header colour is by default that of the current nav item.

Please specify all you questions in you ticket, as all the support is provided via personal tickets.

Thank you.

First you say the problem is easy to solve if I register for help on your site and raise a ticket.

I do so, and then you say that changing the navigation background colour is a “deep modification”.

I post your reply on here, so you send me a message saying that maybe you misunderstood and would I explain again.

I ask again, here, quoting your own “documentation”. Either you know enough about your own theme to answer what should be a muppet-simple question or you don’t. Which is it?

Your ‘private ticket’ responses describe as a ‘deep modification’ which is not possible something which your documentation says can be done by changing a hex code in html.

Please make up your mind which is true and answer the question. I ask this publicly because it is the kind of thing anybody buying this theme would expect to be crystal-clear. Not hidden.

Sorry, I’m still trying to work out what’s what on the index page.

Double-checking your demo, ‘recent projects’ doesn’t display on low screen-res which is probably for the better. However, what shows instead is a big blank white patch that makes you think something’s going to load.

cmsmasters

Hi again!

In fact we do not see the problem you report, as on our side the Recent Projects section displays fine on all resolutions. Could you please specify the browser you are having this problem in, and also perhaps try reloading the page again to see whether the problem occurs again?

Thank you!

Default-user

I’m not having the problem. Your theme is.

cmsmasters

Please check that again, but make sure you load the page in mobile resolution, rather than resizing the window after the page is loaded.

Thank!

Hi,

I originally wondered why you were using unencode in an attempt to hide your html in the demo, but perhaps I’m starting to understand now.

Have you ever tried editing this file in Dreamweaver? I started looking at this file last night and continued looking today, but I immediately noticed that if you try to switch from code to design views it takes forever because of the various things Dreamweaver has to run off and fetch. I’m referring to index.html. It’s a nightmare to edit.

You really ought to remove the links to your own websites, for example. I really don’t want the demo page to wait while a video downloads from your own wordpress website, just so I can preview it.

I have never seen a page with so much inline js. Why is that? I found 4 scripts on the index page alone, and yet nothing in the docs that relates to properly altering the js you use to change the header colour (still).

There’s nothing that says that if you want to get rid of the ‘go to top’ arrow/link, it’s not enough to delete the html. You actually have to delete the js too otherwise it appears on the page even without the html.

index.html has two dividing lines between the tables that you use to create the ‘superior quality’ and ‘sliders included’ type boxes and the testimonials div. Start deleting stuff from the page (which any genuine user is guaranteed to do) and see what happens when you do.

Why not reformat the flickr feed so it looks ‘designed’ at full screen size. I didn’t notice it before but it gives the demo a very amateur look, being two rows taller than the rest of the footer.

Looking at your demo, the widgets page has a blank white section after the testimonial section that takes up almost the whole screen height.

View index_3.html at mobile size and you’ll find a blank white page that takes several full-screen scrolls to get past. This actually happens on several pages, but I had to name one as an example.

Having looked at this theme for a few hours, I’d say it will probably be quite good when it’s finished.

cmsmasters

Hi again.

As to using Dreamweaver – this a third-party software that we do not recommend using, as it tends to add excess code to the files and should only be used by people who do not have sufficient code knowledge but do need to deal with some code. Also, this is a rather expensive software that many customers simply do not have point of purchasing, as all the template files can be altered in a free code editor, like Notepad++. As to inline js – these scripts are scripts for various sliding elements on the home page, and this is a correct solution (and a common practice too) to have them inside the page code as in other case these (when having them in a jquery.script.js file, for instance) they would load on every single page where there is even no need for that (any text page, 404 page etc.)

As to the blank spaces you mention – they occur when the twitter script is not working due to too many queries via our access keys and you can generate your own keys at https://dev.twitter.com/ and substitute the old keys in load_tweets.php with the generated ones (php/load_tweets.php). See the screenshot. Still, if you need help with this, feel free to contact our support.

As to mobile view for Recent posts etc – please make sure to load page in mobile resolution, rather than resize it after the page is loaded. We have checked that again, and on mobile device as well, it does work fine.

Regarding the “back to top” link – if you want to remove it, feel free to submit us a support ticket and our support team will help with that.

Thank you!

Dreamweaver doesn’t add any code at all. Users add code. It is, I believe, the number one program for web design. I have created in excess of 100 websites using it. I have edited and reworked something like 20 themeforest themes with it and created a couple of my own – albeit basic themes.

Another odd thing; I just realised that there are two nav sections on each page, not the usual one. I’ve never seen that before and have no idea why there are two, even if one is for mobile use, but there’s absolutely no mention of this in the docs. In fact, in your html description, your docs show one nav section.

cmsmasters

Hi again. Actually these are two navigation types – a mobile navigation for small resolutions and a standard nav bar for large resolutions, there navigation parts are positioned differently, and this is the way it should be.

Hi, a couple of things:

Is there a reason why you placed a link to a google font (raleway) inside the rev slider div instead of in the head section? I’m curious.

Secondly, you seem to have made an error: there is a transparent png used in the rev slider div which is called from the url below: http: //leskanor.cmsmasters.net/wp-content/plugins/revslider/images/transparent.png (line 252). I saw others like this but I deleted them without thinking or making a note, sorry.

So questions about your themes, and the answers (helpful or not) are not intended to be seen by people who are debating buying your theme?

One is a general question, the second is asking why your themes include links to images on your website instead of images in a zip file. I think these are public questions, not private matters.

Having purchased this theme I have noticed several things which I would call defects. I have looked in the help page here and seen nothing helpful. I have asked questions and received not one single helpful reply. I have registered on the specified help website and asked questions there, but received not one single helpful answer. There are zero questions/answers relating to this theme visible on the help website.

I would not buy anything from this seller again because potential defects and theme restrictions are concealled by making all requests for help “private”.

Sellers shouldn’t be allowed to conceal questions about products in this way because people can’t tell if a product functions properly or not before they buy it.

Default-user

I have to say, if I’d seen someone asking these questions and failing to get straight answers, I’d never have bought this theme.

To brian7454.

Leskanor template is used by several dozen customers, and many of these people have already succeeded creating a website with the template, some of them are still working on it. None of these people have reported any of the problems you are declaring, and please note that HTML templates are usually purchased by skilled developers. All the questions and difficulties these people face are being successfully solved via personal tickets, which could have been true for you as well if you had given it a chance. We are still open to provide you support, if you really do aim to setup your website rather than create the longest and the most pointless discussion ever.

All the development solutions implemented in Leskanor template are based on certain reasons and not accidental. When creating our products we always consider the most rational solutions and rely on common coding practice. Nevertheless, should you feel like you finding a more suitable to your skills solution, please feel free to contact Envato support about getting a refund.

Thank you.

To cmsmasters; Perhaps you are forgetting that you still have an outstanding private ticket to which a satisfactory response has still yet to be made. That is why I made the issue visible (above) today.

Default-user

The URL for what website, exactly? I don’t know about other people but I never put half-finished websites online, let alone websites for domains I haven’t purchased or selected, based on themes I haven’t decided whether or not to use. It is impossible to give details of an ftp connection for a website that doesn’t yet exist.

Your request for ftp details (do people truly let strangers loose on their hosting?) wasn’t a compulsory question on your ‘submit a ticket’ form.

That aside, the information given in the first place was deemed enough for you to answer with your “this is a deep modification” reply.

And also enough for you to subsequently reply here and via email saying ‘perhaps we misunderstood’.

At what point will someone answer my question? It’s a dead simple question. I asked it on your support line and I also asked it here. You can answer the question in the place of your choice.

Default-user

I forgot to ask. Do you mean that none of the skilled developers who bought this theme noticed that the logo and social icons didn’t align properly prior to you updating it after I pointed it out?

How odd.

cmsmasters

As to centering logo – usually questions like this do not cause a problem for developers, in any case we have uploaded an updated archive upon your request right away, just the same as we would have done for any other reasonable issue. As to support – we will not be able to provide you support without seeing the changes implemented to the files.

Thank you!

I have a question which might be the same as the guy above. I wanted a design with coloured nav pills, as you have used. I like the idea that when you hover over the nav pills the header background changes to match them but I want the header background to stay white except on hover.

After reading the convo above, I looked at your demo html (I haven’t seen anybody using unescape to try and hide html since the advent of firefox and firebug) and see where you can set a default background colour.

Changing the colour code in firebug does what I’d expect, but the comments above suggest it doesn’t work properly because of js. Can you clarify?

cmsmasters

Thank you for being interested in Leskanor!

Header color can be changed to make you have a color scheme different from the one we have on the demo. just please note, that it is not initially meant to work the way you describe – the header color of all the pages that are under one navigation element, are meant to be the same as this navigation element background. What we mean is that the template color scheme is defined bu menu item colors. Yes, an HTML file for each of the pages contains heading color setting too, a and initially the color setting in html should be the same as for the parent menu item this page is located under. The reason for this is to make page loading be more smooth, so that upon the page load page appears with the needed color rather than none. You might not notice the time gap when elaborating the website locally, but as soon as you put it online, this would have been much more evident, if we have not implemented the solution described (having the same colors set in 2 places).

Still, technically, you may use a possibility to add a custom page heading color in html for every page to set a custom color for it, different from the parent navigation element color. But in this case, your custom heading color for each page will be seen not directly upon the initial page load, but after the first hover over navigation.

Thank you, should there be any other question please feel free to ask.

Thank you for being interested in Leskanor template!

As to purchasing – we would be glad to help you, but all the purchasing process is under Themeforest control, the authors can’t interfere here. You need to contact Envato support about this, just follow this link http://support.envato.com/
