Yes the portfolio section supports videos as well.
tried the install, and keep getting a message that the css file is missing. I’ve done both an FTP transfer and a WP dashboard install. Please let me know if you have a quick solution to this problem.

The grey gradient that appears to contain a graphic used in the logo as well can be changed to a different gradient/background so the logo graphic is not part of your existing sample logo or can be changed to something of our own choosing?

yes you can its provided in the PSD File. You just need to open the psd and hide all the layers except layer named bg and save the image as transparent bg and use it as a plain gradient or so.

Quick question for you: Under the Homepage tab of your control panel, the first item you have is “Mainpage Large Heading” – what is this actually supposed to do?
I thought it would add a title to my main home page (similar to what you have on the demo site) but when I enter text it just shows Home.
Any ideas?

After entering the text click save all changes and go to homepage and see the changes which will appear above the slider on mainpage.

Unfortunately, that does not solve my problem.
I think I understand what you are trying to convey in the video (even though there is NO sound). I believe I have done everything that you need to do: Set up a category for the Slider, I’ve added posts with images etc. My problem is that I can not get the slider to appear ANYWHERE on my homepage – here’s my site www.copywriternow.com and I don’t see a way of manually inserting it into a page.
Also, if you goto my webpage, you will see that my menu for the page that I am currently on is highlighted but when you move your mouse over it, it turns to the background color.
Also, any changes that I make in the Syspanel/admin section for the Homepage-Mainpage Large Heading and Short Info Below Large Heading does NOT show up.
I have followed all of your instructions in your text.

Yes possible.
go to colors folder and edit the style you are using, find a class selector .pageleft and edit the value of background image with your desired image and save changes. That’s it!

Middle click will not work inside the .jScrollPaneContainer elements. Scrolling only works with the following actions:
There’ s not any fallback when javascript is off, the divs can’t be scrolled at all, but who disables javascript these days… Rhetorical question.
Even with javascript on, i should wait the whole page to load until i can scroll a .jScrollPaneContainer element. DOM ready would work better.

because the bigger image (I mean not the thumbs below it!) are too small in my opinion.
first i want to say GREAT minimalistic theme! I do not have experience purchasing themes so this will be my first (i hope!). i do have a few questions hopefully you can help me with. (some of these questions might be ridiculous)
1. In the blog section (which i would be using this for mostly) are there options to share through social networking (share w fb, twitter on the bottom of each blog post) and are there a way to view the comments under these?
2. Also in the blogsection i see only two blog entries – i was hoping to make a site where others can blog as well (users) – would this be possible through here? and since i will have so many entries i will need more than two on a page i was hoping to have atleast 10-20 – is this possible?
3. Im sure WP player with mp3s is available to use on here correct?
4. Can i customize the sidebars (IE: have the blog as home and only have 4 entries?) thanks!
5. also is there a way to rate the blogs and then have it sorted by rating?

1.Yes you need to use a shareit plugin. 2. Yes you can have as many as you want. this can be set through wordpress default discussions settings. 3. I don’t know about it. 4. Sidebar you use as you want if you know how to play with wordpress. If you are newbie to wordpress then am sorry.
