I’m glad you just responded.

I purchased the theme and LOVE it.

Just three quick q’s and I’ll be out of your hair (I have a presentation on this tomorrow):

1. How do I get the menu items to change to black? I went into the wood css (I modified the wood pic with my own gradient), and even got the highlight color to change – but I entered ”#000000” in the wood.css and it doesn’t change. Here’s what the code looks like now: /* MENU -—-—-—-—-—-—-—-—-—-—-—-*/

.side-nav li.menu-item a { color: #000; } .side-nav li.current_page_item>a { color: #9ab222; background: #fff;

Again – the current page color changed as I wanted, but gray doesn’t show up.

2. I’ve got my locations listed in a text widget. The color of the widget is gray. How do I change that to black?

Lastly…

3. How do I set it up so a video can be seen on the home page? (I prefer an image appears, and then when clicking on the image a lightbox with the video appears inside).

Hi,

I figured out the menu color issue, and the widget issue for the text color issue. Just need some advice on the video to open in a lightbox on the home page, and the stretching of the “wood.jpg” as well.

Bought it now anyway. I have a few issues though as I am new to wordpress..

How do I call the slider? I installed your xml file because I didnt know how to get the portfolio items looking like they did in the preview.

Also on the nav bar it is different to yours it has a vertical line down it and when I hover over an active tab it goes black?

First let me say I love this theme. I rarely find themes designed above the fold that work without looking busy and crammed. Love it!!!!

the only issue I am having really is the social network. I added my icons and links and nothing is showing. I thought maybe because of the size of the icons, but I tried several different sizes and still nothing. Any known issues?

Hello. I would like to buy this item, but have a few questions. I would like to know if it is possible to reduce the space on the left side/page and increase the page space on the right – expanding the photo image size to accomodate a panoramic or wider images? Also does this support Spanish text, with Spanish language characters?

My biz partner bought the theme for our client, we are setting it up .. but now i am facing some problem with the feature photos section.. I would like to have it display just photos from say selected media files photos. I could not get it working. I tried to manually edit in the default photos .. not it’s not reverting back to the default images either..

Also tried to use photo gallery plugins none is to what I am looking for … How can I make it easy for client to manage by uploading to a selected category (Not post base) and have that declared into the feature photos section? Thanks

It’s me again iKC, had some slight requirement change.

1. Our client wants to have the quotes to show-up with the feature photos too.. You know those where you have a layer of text infront of the photos?... without linking it to any respective post or pages.. S3slider seemed to be the one to replace your feature photos right? Where should I edit safety?

2. I had to mode and expand your viewable container from 540 to 640 as client wants to show more text. But you have short codes for 1/3, 1/2 where do I change those? to have them align according to new profile right size? .profilewrap { width: 640px; } .profileleft { width: 140px; float:left; }

We are having an issue with this theme, everything seems to work perfectly apart from the blog page which simply displays “Currently Browsing….blog [with date]” and not the blog posts that should be there.

we followed the instructions and tried several times, but still with no joy. can you help us? it looks like a similar problem to the one that colorit had a few months back.

Can I check if anyone having problems when the blog post being displayed as with the short codes seen instead of showing the post wrap in the short codes?

Meaning I see things like [onehalf] something [/onehalf] instead of it showing up as something.

It only happens when the post is being displayed as partial text. If I go into the post then it’s fine.

Hello Sis32, I am very Satisfied with this theme but i am having a issue.

The Slide Panel on the home page it does not apply on the actual home page but in a what it seems separate sub section. How can i make so the panel shows on the home page? Thanks in advance

Yes, Its like The slide show is on www.example.com but the home page for instance is named www.example.com/?page_id=6, so it doesnt show on the home page. its like it thinks that the home page is an another page i think but whatever content that is on www.example.com is on www.example.com/?page_id=6 which is the home , except for the slider so its very weird. what can i do so it doesnt read this way?

I have a couple of issues.

One is that I can’t seem to get a blog page working. Since the front page has to be set as the blog in general settings in order for the front page to function with the gallery, what do you do about a blog page? I need to have a page with the blog posts.

Also, for some reason all my formatting is gone in the content. Some of the pages seem to not recognize paragraph breaks all of a sudden. Any idea why?

I’m using the theme on my personal website (http://www.jamienorthrup.com) and have to say I really like, it’s great work!

I do have one question though, it’s nothing major, but I wanted to know why the RSS feed isn’t linked to the front page.

I’m not sure if that’s how I should explain it, but you know when you go on the blog page and you see the RSS logo in your browser’s address bar, well I want to have that on the front page also.

I know there’s a logo in the sidebar, but my reasoning is that sometimes websites ask for your website and will grab your feed and display your latest post(s) but if I only put www.jamienorthrup.com it doesn’t work.

Let me know if you understand, I didn’t know how to clearly explain it.

I was wondering if you posted the update that fixes the formatting issue? If not can you tell me what is causing the issue at least so I can fix it myself? I was supposed to have this site up last Friday.
