4. Jevents has a “Latest events module” but it looks lame and not as good as your custom HTML stuff. Any idea how to make it look good like your work around?

Here’s how to go about adding the custom styling:

a) Download the latest version (1.0.4) of the template from themeforest’s download section.

b) Unzip the pack > unzip the lighthouse_j25_extensions.zip > navigate to ‘jevents – calendar’ folder and install the modified ‘mod_jevents_latest_2.2.5.zip’ extension in your Joomla installation

c) After the module installs successfully, navigate to extensions > module manager and add/edit your ‘Jevents latest events module’ and configure it as follows:

(i) set the ‘Choose layout view’ option to ‘geraint’

(ii) set the ‘Custom format string’ option to be

<div><p class="event-time"> ${eventDate(j)}:${eventDate(M)}</p>${title}<br />${extraInfo}</div>

Save and close

d) Next, unzip the lighthouse_j25.zip and copy the css/extensions.css to override your existing copy.

e) Clear your browser cache and refresh.
