I can email you that I have on my drive (home page), but please keep in mind that it isn’t a full copy of the demo site. I’m making initial layout in psd and then do a lot of “designing” right in the browser.
Obviously, I’ll buy it beforehand. Just wanted to know if one exists. I see other comments that allude to an earlier version as a .psd. That would be fine. Was just hoping to not have to mock this up from scratch.

Every time we modify content using Visual Composer it disappears when we press update post or page on the it disappears on the live page and the admin page.
Did the hint to change the boxes from 2/3 to 3/3 then press update and it does reappear then arrange it back to 2/3 and update.
Thats allot of steps for my customer to update his site and its obviously a bug. Is there a permanent fix for this problem so I can have a happy customer I cant sell this website to him without fixing this problem permanently?

I just checked – editing tabs working fine. What steps you are doing?
1. click edit pencil icon 2. enter/modify new title 3. click save button 4. click update button (page/post update)

Looks like a javascript problem. Please make sure that you are running latest WordPress version and theme (After WP 3 .3 coming out, I’ve updated the theme for better WP 3 .3 compatibility).

I purchased this lightning theme, which comes with the visual composer. However, recently the visual composer has not been working and it only allows for editing in html when clicking on both visual and html views. Also, even when i enter new code, EVERYTHING else on the page gets deleted except for the bit of new code I entered. CAN SOMEONE PLEASE HELP ME ?! I’ve been trying to fix this for weeks now. All suggestions are greatly appreciated!
Please update theme to the most recent version. After WP 3 .3 came out, I’ve released new version which takes care of WP 3 .3 compatibility.
Where can I get the updated version of this theme from? Updates for the theme are not appearing on my dashboard updates.
You can re-download theme under your profile->Downloads section.
How to update theme: Go to appearance – themes and activate the default WordPress theme. Delete the theme in question and upload the new version you will have to download from ThemeForest. The process is the same as the first installation and you will not loose saved settings.
Thank you for responding, however I deleted the old lightning theme and reinstalled a version i just re-downloaded from themeforest, and i am having the same problem. It will not let me edit anything in visual composer. all of the text boxes only allow editing in the HTML tab, and even when i edit it there, it erases the entire page and only displays what I put in the HTML tab in the text box. Is there a different place i should get the update from? I really need to update my website, please help.

It looks like a cache plugin to me. Please try deleting your browsers cache files.

however, i had one more question. I am trying to have more content on the side bar that does not cut into the main page area. Meaning, I want the content on my page to stay the same width but have additional logos on the side of the page. How can i make the theme compatible with that?
Sorry, not sure I understand you right.
When you create/edit page you can select page template (“Page with column”), but then you main content area width will be smaller (because of the sidebar). You can’t put sidebar and have content area same width as without sidebar.

To place slanted panel, select “Background color change” from Content elements within Visual Composer editing mode and then in edit screen enter background color that should be used within this slanted panel.

I’m having the same issues as Trackh421. I can no longer use the your visual editor with the latest version of WP.
Please update theme too. Latest theme version is taking care of WP 3 .3 compatibility problems.
p.s. after theme update make sure to delete browser cache files (just in case).

I’m setting up my blog so that I can get quite a few people blogging together, but I’ve noticed that if you set someone as a contributor they are able to add home slide items and portfolio items which I’d like not to be an option. Is there a way of ensuring these don’t show up?

I want a captcha in my contact form, i have install the Contact Form 7 BWP reCAPTCHA plugin but I experience problem. In general settings where i have to enter the API key i have notthing, the page is blank.
I thing it’s the theme cause this malfunction because i have the same plugin install in my other site with a different theme and all it’s ok.
Do you have an idea of what it’s cause that???

It doesn’t have any special css for iphone and ipads, but iOS handle it very good (scales down using their own tools).
1) Is there any way of having a vimeo video instead of the featured image on the blog index.
I want to have the log above the menu bar and position right to the left. I have using the css code #header { margin-top: 40px; } #logotype { top: 40px; } as suggested and playing with the numbers but this just pushes the menu down onto the page content and doesn’t raise the logo on top

Portfolio archive is generated automatically and is accessible in yousite.com/portfolio/ address or alternatively you can create a static page “Default template” and then switch to the Visual Composer mode and place Teaser grid element into the canvas. And set it to show only portfolio elements.

I have upgraded to the latest version too and am on the latest version of WordPress.
However, suddenly the linking to my portfolio pages seems to have gone wrong but I am not sure how – or what may have caused it. They definitely used to work and show up but now if I go into the “edit post” and check the preview, or navigate on the site I’m getting 404 errors. Completely mystified – it seems to have happened to all portfolio pages, but all standard pages and posts are working absolutely perfectly.
I am fine handing over an admin login to you if it helps – please just ask as I’d love to know what’s happened and get it fixed, as it’s a great theme and I really want to carry on using it.

When I try to add photos to the gallery it gives me the following errmsg “Catchable fatal error: Object of class WP_Error could not be converted to string in /home/yucesu01/domains/**.nl/public_html/wp-content/themes/lightning/wpbakery/js_composer/shortcodes.php on line 917” Which files do I have to CHMOD to make the gallery work?
I’m going to upload theme update tomorrow, that should help you with this problem. Meanwhile, try to remove that gallery block from page. And then re-add it. (may help…)

I´ve update the theme, no more errmsgs atm. as I can see so that is fixed. New probleem: the images wont show up in the slide and they do when I access the URL directly. I think it has something 2 do with permissions + safemode is ON can’t turn it off. Do you have any tips on getting this to work / do u need/want admin FTP /wordpress access?

I pasted a script for IE before the end body tag to promote my page. the navi bar overlays it’s outcome.
you might also check http://relaxdaily.net (the home-page). here the script is overlay-ed by the lightbox pics (you can notice it when they change) Is there any solution to this?
- by the way, is there a way to paste such scripts without “edit” the footer.php, what i hate to do, because of template updates?
- still, the videos on my page overlay the navi bar, but I could live with that, if it’s not fixable (see:http://relaxdaily.net/rdn039/ it’s a youtube vid url, pasted via “post custom settings, video” on the post edit/new post page (so pretty standard).
- still the edges (left and right sides) don’t work OK on smal resolution devices (see my last comment). I checked it on iPhone and iPad. Don’t like it. Don’t know how it’s with Android.
- I’m an amateur with website building, so perhaps this is not to be addressed with you, but anyway: how to implement a mobile version of my website, which automatically is activated when a visitor visits with a mobile device? Is it something that must be implemented in a theme like this one, or does one use a separate theme? Do you offer something like that?

1. To bring menu nav down. Use this custom css code.
#header { margin-top: 50px; } 2. Not sure what are talking about (scripts and overlays...) 3. In theme options there's a "Tracking code" text area. basically what you enter there is placed in footer.php just before the ending body tag. So in your case you can place your script and then tracking code. 4. This is know video issue, I'll fix that in then ext update. 5. This is happening because the layout is actually wider then screen width. 6. There are 3rd party WordPress plugins which can "switch" themes for mobile users, but it will required some work for integration (I believe). Try searching wordpress.org
