Lightspeed is just updated to v1.1 which includes an update so you can add slides yourself. When using the slider option choose: Regular -> Carousel

You are talking about the Post Slider isn’t? You can select categories to show up at that slider. You can check them at the slider options.

Hi,
I would like to make a regular carousel 1/3 slider. This is for the 3 services i offer. These 3 blocks must each point to a specific page. The height i have put on 180 pixels. So far so good.
With 3 blocks, i see the image width will be 286 pixels wide. But unfortunately, i have to upload pictures which are at least 920 pixels wide, although i only need 286 pixels. And if i do upload a 920px wide image, the resizing goes wrong, the picture only resize to 281 pixels wide while the text below the image is in a 286 pixels wide box. That doesn’t look right…
Can’t i upload pictures that won’t be resized and/or cropped?

Hi, i did send you the e-mail yesterday.
When I look at a 1/3 carousel, i see that post-thumb-special=281 pixels wide. Post-excerpt-special=286 pixels wide. Why is that different? I now have boxes that don’t have one width, they look very ugly.
I see now the cropped images that should be 286 pixels are all cropped at 281 pixels. They are to small now…

Is it possible to ad more fields to the out of the box contact form?
I notice I can make the Custom Fields module show on screen for the page where i have the contact form on and there is a section at bottom for custom fields.
Not sure if that is it or not or will I need to find a plugin for extra contact form fields. If so what would you recommend?

The ContactForm Module cannot be modified in the admin. You should grab a plugin for that like ContactForm7.

I am having a hard time figuring out how make a page I created as the index or homepage. I cant find where the default content is located when you first install the theme, the content that says “Thank you purchasing this blog…”
Can anyone help me to figure out how to set the homepage and customize it. I would greatly appreciate it. Maybe im just missing something.

First of all, We’re sorry about the delay.
Did you found out how you can make a page as homepage? You can just create a page, hit the Content Composer button and add modules to that page. You can check the documentation where you find screencasts how to add content and modules to a page.
You can just use HTML for a table which creates that style. http://www.w3schools.com/html/html_tables.asp

Hi, am very impressed by your template, not least the flexibility that the composer enables. The only thing that worries me a bit when buying the theme or not, is SEO optimization, can you tell me a bit how you work with H1 H2 . For example In the code hierarchy, is the main content block placed before the sidebar regardless of the sidebar position, so it is crawled first by search engines. And third have you seen any site using your theme that is well indexed in google?
Hi there,
The title of the page is always set to a H1. The rest of the content and headings you can decide yourself. The only other headings (H4) is placed in the sidebar.
When the page is set to have a left sidebar the sidebar is above the content, I just checked it. We’ll see if we can change that in the future.
The demo is indexed well by Google. Just search in some key words which you find on the site and you will find the demo for sure.

I’ve had a big problem with search functionality. All content that was in pages/posts that’s entered with the Content Composer was not searchable. I’ve been told that this is fixed in v1.1 but I’d like to know if numbers are searchable as well?
My site is based off of product numbers. It’s very likely that users will try searching by part numbers instead of terms. Since the site has upwards of 100 posts, I’d like to confirm that you can search by numbers before integrating the upgraded v1.1. Can anyone confirm this?
