sorry for my delay with the response. There is the answer of the developer of this slideshow plugin:

I always strive for <200kb or a maximum height/width of 1200px, but you can play around with it based on how many images you have loading. If you are using hundreds of 2mb images, knock it off. Yes, this has happened.

From personal experience I know that it is best to use 1600×1200 images.

ugh…I don’t know? The image I uploaded was larger, so I chose to insert at medium (232xsomething) and cuts off the sides, even though it says logo width is 300?

You don’t have set homepage, please follow instructions in the documentation. The slides and callout blocks are hidden as default from the website, they appearing only on the homepage. You can’t see this custom post types on urls as: http://example.com/slides/slide1, http://example.com/callouts/callout-block1.

Yes, sometimes its necessary to read TFM : which i did. But i followed my own intuitive rules. As for the homepage it’s now set and everything is working ,( for the time being: i still have to discover the other functionalities) as it should.

just add this part of code into “Custom CSS ” in the Theme Options:

label { font-size: 30px !important; }

... and edit the font-size as you want.

Unfortunately I don’t have an experience with the moving of images folder. I don’t know the fix of this issue, it’s not about theme functionality, but about WordPress. You can try the WordPress support forum.

firstly sorry for my late reply.

The logo image should be dimensed to 300×190px. If you will need to use the other size of the logo, need to be adjusted the css style of the logo in “style.css” on lines 283 – 290. Actually the logo size is the same for all versions of the theme (tablet, mobile, etc.) and if you will need resize logo for these versions, just add these lines into “css/responsive.css” for each version (between each condition – size you can adjust):

header.header .logo { width: 300px; height: 140px; } /* Logo height is increased for .logo-image negative top margin */
header.header .logo-image,
header.header .logo-default { width: 300px; height: 190px; }

Try to replace line 81 in the “style.css” file

img { max-width: 100%; -ms-interpolation-mode: bicubic; }

by this one:

.canvas img { max-width: 100%; -ms-interpolation-mode: bicubic; }

oh sorry for that, it’s my mistake – duplicated homepage loop. Easy fix is remove lines 114 – 130 in the “page-home.php” file.

not silly question.

I will of course try to update this theme continually as WordPress updates, but unfortunately I can’t guarantee you that I will do it for the next 20 years. It’s a really long time, anything can happen, surely you understand what I mean.

Otherwise I think, that the themes and design of the themes will be absolutelly elsewhere.
