Linguini: Restaurant Responsive WordPress Theme

Great theme, I have two questions. I have the slide show setup but I am trying to use a youtube embed instead of text over the picture. I notice it starts from the center of the slideshow area. Is there a way to get it to start on the top of that area? Also is there a way to get the header logo to start from the left of the webpage instead of the center? I would think its a css setting, thanks for your time.

Hi, I resolved the footer issue (found it in widgets) and I reduced the height of the header.header. But now I have an issue with a shadow running through the header area. See example here: http://blueskysustainable.com/?page_id=1104 Thanks, Lynn

Also, I emailed regarding not being able to see the “Slides” on the WP menu on the left as noted in your documentation…

Hi, Just installed Linguini. However your documentation says “Creating Slides for the homepage slideshow 1. Go to: Slides › Add New Slide. 2. Enter the Title. 3. Enter the Caption (short description of the slide). 4. Set Featured image (slide background). In the top bar, I see only one reference to Slides, under the +new button. I see no reference to Slides > Add New. I did add one slide, but I could not find it again to edit it. What am I missing? Thanks, Lynn

You replied that it’s on the WP menu, not on the bar. But I do not see it on the WP menu at all. Do I need to install a plug-in?

loving the theme very much but having one problem, when l set my featured image for the posts on the homepage they work fine but when l click on any of the posts and redirected to its main post page , l get a loader and the no thumbnail.

I just upgraded to v1.3 and now the categories on the menu and drink pages do not follow the browser when scrolling down.

Is this a known issue with this version or is there something I need to change? I already tried installing the theme again and it is still not working.

I have just 2 questions:

1. How can I turn OFF the hyperlinking from the menu labels (and photos) to their related items?

2. How can I reorder the items in the menus?

I have tried to get this problem for awhile now, I want to increase the view area of the slideshow so that the call blocks are not covering the text?

Can you order the menu categories?

How do you make the button text bold. I’m also reffering to the text in those small blocks with dates in them and in the headers of the callout blocks.

I have 4 problems: 1. In back end theme option panel is not working. If the panel does not open we won’t be able to make any change. 2. Calendar is simply not getting displayed on reservation form. 3. And after click on submit button reservation form is not refreshing the page. 4. Forms are not getting submitted on the desired email address.

Hello, great theme but I have a problem with the plugins for e-commerce because I can not properly render any page (to products from the cart) with any plugin for example: marketpress, wp e-commerce.

Hey I’m looking to reduce the static homepage slider height as well. I briefly looked over style.css and modified the slideshow-overlay, content-home and content-home-container to different heights. No luck with any of them. Could you please help with this issue?

Please clarify step by step how to add your own google map to the contact form page. There is no instruction for this in the included documentation within the theme package I purchased. I tried just putting the link to embed, but that did not work. Please advise.
