Is it crucial that the theme’s temp folder be writeable?

just downloaded for my wordpress site. im running wordpress 3.2.1. the theme appears broken is that because its not compatible with 3.2? i am almost positive i uploaded it correctly to wordpress. what do i do??

my drop down menu all of a sudden just stopped working?? dont know what happened. i have the link theme and everything was coming together and working fine until the menu just stopped showing the drop down pages

Hi,

There appears to be an error with main menu in IE8 . The list always contains one extra (empty) item which appears as active when you mouse over. When adding extra menu items which use the full width of the menu area into my wordpress install this causes spacing issues.

Can you provide a solution / fix?

that’s in IE8 . if you inspect the area with firebug you can see that the empty area contains this code:

which looks as if it’s unnecessary? i can’t work out where to remove it though?

continuing on previous thread doesn’t seem to be possible on themeforest’s forum – i can only reply to my own comment which seems a bit pointless.

can you go back to my original post / screenshot. the issue is with the theme’s original code. when i implemented the suggested fix (now removed again) it broke the site in chrome. if you implement it on your own theme code you will see what i mean.
