I uploaded the dummy content which has pretty much done everythint i want. now i can just change things slightly and the site looks great.

Thank you for a great theme and support! i have yet another question
1. when making a post it automatically wants to use the featured image in the post, how do i set this to automatically “do not show”
2. Before installing this theme, my category select area on a post had a nice ladder structure, now its all bundled in one line, making it hard to select where you want your post listed. anywhere i can fix this?
(it does this also on the menu making area with my page/category)

thank you. i found the issue. it was a plugin that was updated when i installed the theme. :-/ i just spent an hour turning them all off and on.
where in the shortcode can i look for “do not display” featured image?
You should open shortcode builder and select one of the post shortcodes and then choose features for it. Then press insert.

ok, now i found your answer “echo date_i18n(‘l, F j, Y’, time()); ?>
to
echo get_the_date(); ?>” a few month ago – but it doesn’t work for me. I changed all header.php, but the home is still on 7.11.
Also at the other sites. On Categories etc. is the date displayed when the last post was made. at some categories is no date showed, only the text.

Hi MNKY , thanks for your replay. It seems that i am too dumb. I changed line 33 in all header files in the localnews folder to
“ <?php get_option_tree('tagline', '', true); ?> | <?php echo date_i18n(get_option('date_format'));?> ”
The date is now correct, but the fonts color changed into green. But only the preview posts in a category. If you click full articel, the color is as i set.

I am facing a problem that when ever some one likes a post, fb picks up the wrong image as a thumbnail, so to correct that we need to add ’ rel=”image_src” ’ to the featured image tag. so can you tell me where can i add that relation to the image tag i.e. where is image tag being constructed.

You can add it in loop.php and loop-single.php files. Or maybe , if yo uuse another plugin it works fine?

Have done some research on the internet and came to know that we need to add meta tags so that facebook can know which image should be the thumbnail and what should be the title, and the tweet text. following are the meta tags <meta property=”og:image” content=”url to image” /> <meta property=”og:title” content=”title of the page” /> <meta property=”og:description”content=”add a short description of the page or content”/>
anyways if you can make this work any how that will be great.

I have added the addthis plugin the one that you have used on the demo, some how your when i hit the like button on your demo site it is picking up the right image i.e. featured image (those are featured images, right ?), but on my site
it is picking up the image of the previous post.Hello,

Hmm, do not see anything different than posts on our website. Really have no clue why it is taking another picture. Maybe you could try another plugin for your website.
For the header options for every posts, is there a way to enable before content widget area on all posts without having to enable it for every post one by one??

i didn’t get it. I changed line 33 in all header files. For a moment everything is ok, but on the next day, it’ll show the day before. Also the posts. When i add a new “hot” post or “promoted” (at my site its advertorial), he didn’t show it.
But when i actualize the “home”-page, it is shown correct. Do i have to actualize the home whenever i post an articel?

There is no ready styling for rtl, so when you change text direction some css changes may be necessary, otherwise there should be no problems with this.

We mean that you can do it on live preview site with browser developer tools.
If you will need customization done to adapt theme fully for rtl, you will need to hire someone for this job, unfortunately we do not take customization projects.

where can i see a list of shortcode options like “comment_count” and such.. i cant seem to find it anywhere. As a beginner WP user I dont know any of these shortcodes.
I want to display things like authors, user who commented most.. and other things i can pull from my database.
