I am considering buying this theme, there is one thing I am wondering. I am planning to use this theme to have a list of properties which will be imported from an external WebService. I would like these properties to be automatically synched to our wordpress website. I will write ourself a script that will handle this, but the issue is if it will be easy to plug these properties in the wordpress site. i.e. is there an API where I can easily add properties, without having to doing this on a database level.
for example can I call a function addproperty($id,$price,$location,$etc…) or can I only add properties manually in the back-end?
I could not find this information in the available documentation/demo site

Hi,
There is no such API as you are thinking.
But, you can use WordPress API to do that. Theoretically speaking you need to add a property post in WordPress database http://codex.wordpress.org/Function_Reference/wp_insert_post and after that you need to update post meta http://codex.wordpress.org/Function_Reference/update_post_meta for related custom fields.

Hi, Please download the latest version of theme form your downloads page on themeforest and copy the twitter-widget.php file from “widgets” folder and overwrite it on existing file with same name in “widgets” folder of your existing installation of theme.
This was a very old issue and it happened after twitter changed its API. SO, updated versions of theme afterwords has already new twitter code.

It seems that you are uploading the complete package that you downloaded from themeforest. Which is wrong, you need to unzip the package and only upload the “localitywp.zip” file as theme zip.

Hi,
A standard user with AUTHOR role in WordPress can publish posts and so he can also publish properties. As, property is a custom post type in this theme.
So, you do not need any additional plugin for this purpose and you can use WordPress user management system to create new authors and allow them to login and publish their properties.
