1. You can decrease the transition time on line 216 in style/js/custom.js
2. You can decrease the space between sections by changing the margin-bottom value from 300px to a smaller value on line 124 in style.css
we are looking to make each image in the portfolio section a slide show/individual gallery – is this possible?

Sorry we are not sure if we understand your request. Can you please give more details and provide an example maybe?
In the portfolio section where there are the 12 images we would like each image on in the section to load up a gallery as it usually does but with a different set of images depending on which you click on, rather than the image gallery just being dependant on the images that are already shown in the section.
So for example say we have images of 12 different sports and we want each image when clicked to load up a gallery of images only related to that sport, we do not wish for the pop up gallery to consist of the other images on show in the portfolio section, but instead of other images that are not on show.

I’m having an issue on my Windows Phone browser viewing the fancybox gallery. Its opening the image I click on at the very top of my site. If you view your template on a WP you can see what I mean. Any ideas for fixing this?

Since we don’t own a Windows Phone we cannot check this issue. We are not sure if this is an issue with fancybox or Windows Phone. We will get in touch with the fancybox developer.
If nothing can be figured out don’t worry. With WP8 around the corner the browser will be much better.

Noticed on iOS (iPad) if you move the page slightly up or down with your finger and then you click a menu, the scrolling works perfectly in landscape mode. Great template just a shame it doesn’t work properly on iOS.
To fix this issue: 1) Could you use jQuery to offset it’s position to cover up for this iOS bug?
2) Is there another way you could tell the anchor to move slightly once it has reached its spot thus enabling the menu to work as it should on iOS devices ?

We have tried many things to fix this issue. We even fixed it for iOS4 but the fix is not compatible with iOS5.

No way at all on how to do this, really…not even just that News DIV ?
Maybe you could add an auto time to refresh counter or even manual button to refresh the News Posts. Especially these days when people leave pages open especially on iOS devices.
My recommendation to you: I believe it would be a good addition to your next update to this template to add the above as it seems kind of pointless when people cannot see your New News Posts as they are added.

The thumbnails on your page don’t seem to have the size mentioned in the help documentation. They should be 420×266px to look proper.

On the demo, the photo’s move into place – on my site they are just fading. http://www.theclassicalbumshow.com/ – has the thumbnails the correct size, the problem seems to be any photos that are taken as portrait photos instead of landscapes.Hi,
On your page you have lots of photos with the same category following each other. But in our demo the photos from different categories are mixed. So you need to have your images from different categories following each other, so for example while your first image is “live”, the second one should be “promo”, the third one should be another category, and the fourth should be a different one etc…

You need to crop your images (portrait or landscape) with size 420×260px for the thumbnails. When you change the sizes make sure they are not stretched but cropped.
I used a photo resizer application to generate the thumbnails, that resized to the 420×260px size. What is the difference between resizing and cropping? – I thought cropping was only to remove parts of the picture not resizing the photo. Should I use photoshop to do this instead?
Yes you can use Photoshop to crop the images. 420×266px is a landscape size, so you will have to lose some parts of your portrait images.

You seem to use the Wordpress version of the theme. But this is the HTML discussion board. Anyway, a huge update has been released for the theme and now the menu items don’t have a fixed width. You can download the latest version of the theme from the Downloads page on themeforest and install. But please note that you will have to edit your existing posts and pages for them to work properly with the latest version. The theme is written from scratch. You will be able to find instructions in the help documentation with video screencasts.

You need to make sure you duplicate all the elements that related to portfolio section in html, css and scripts (in style/js/custom.js) and change their id and class names after duplicating.
Hi, bought the template a few days ago and I’m very happy with it. One question though: how can I adjust the slider’s transparent background so it will move accordingly to the featured pictures when I change my browser’s window size? I have changed the flexslider’s picture height in the code, but when I make my browser’s window width smaller, the transparent background’s height doesn’t move accordingly to the pictures. www.gertbruyninx.be Thanks for your help!

You need to add new height values for each screen size through style/css/media-queries.css, so when the browser is resized the new sizes will apply.

I am thinking of changing a page from a vertical one page to a horizontal but I cannot for the life of me work out which plugin handles the effect – can you confirm how this works and if I would be able to adjust to horizontal?

Making the theme horizontal is not easy as changing a setting in a script. There is not a special plugin in the theme to handle the vertical effect. But to achieve the horizontal effect you probably will have to use a plugin like coda-slider or something similar.

I see your theme as very nice. But after instalation I have problem with change of charset. I need to use czech, therefore I put into index.html a line
<meta http-equiv="content-type" content="text/html; charset=windows-1250" />but I had only 95% success. Some of czech letters are not designed in web browser and are replaced by others. Any suggestion? Thank you. JiriHi,
Are you having this issue with Menu and Title font? If so, the existing font may not be supporting Czech characters. You can either use a websafe font instead or change the font with a different one which will support the characters. For example we can recommend PT Sans.
