Hi, I am having difficulty with the text shortcodes. Every time I insert text within the code and attempt to edit it (assign heading size) in any way it screws up the columns. Does it need to remain unformatted? How then would I change the font size to create headers for the columns? Thanks

Actually you don’t need to do anything extra to format text within the column shortcodes. You just need to select the text within the shortcode and apply the format and make sure you don’t select any part of the shortcode tags.
It seems the only way to get th text to fit in the shortcode columns is using the ‘paragraph’ text setting. Still unable to add any size variance for the text.

Well, I couldnt get it to work unless the text was ‘paragraph’ setting, and in order to create different font sizes I needed a separate plugin. So it is working ok for me now. Thanks
Apparently a font plugin was necessary to format the text properly without it screwing up the shortcode columns.

If you convert your flash file to gif, you can use it without any modifications.

I finally bought the theme.
For some reason when I am trying to unzip the folder theme It gave a message that there is some files encrypted and do not let me move the folder to my desktop. I am using Windows7 and I have been dealing several years with WP themes and is the first time it happens to me when unzipping a theme to my desktop.
Any suggestions?

You can embed videos in the slider by using svideo shortcode:
Make sure you use HTML view in the editor to be able to implement video embed code.

Hi there! I just bought this theme, and am looking forward to customizing it. Upon installing it though, the Jquery smoothscroll stopped working on a couple of occassions- the first being when I altered the dummy [slider] content on the home page, and the second time after installing and trying to add custom slides using [meteor_slides] Is it possible that jquery attempts by other plugins are conflicting with this one?
How could I best solve this problem so that it won’t happen again? Here is the URL to my test site.

It seems that jQuery attempts by other plugins are conflicting with the theme scripts, not just the smooth scroll but news and contact form as well.
Are you aware of a way to ensure that only Locus’ Jquery attempt is passed?

Those warnings are not important. They won’t effect how the theme works. Everything seems to work properly on your website. You only will need to select the menu you created as “The Main Menu” in Appearance – Menus so the menu will display properly.

Hi I love the look of this theme but have a few questions.
Firstly, if I wanted to create a separate page for instance a privacy page with a separate bookmarkable url like .com/privacy. Is it possible to link to that and not have it part of the one page website (if that makes sense).
Also, will the theme work with the Cookie Control plugin by Civic?

Unfortunately since Locus is a one page template it is not possible to have a separate page.
I’m afraid we haven’t tested Cookie Control plugin so we cannot be sure.
Thank you for the quality and beautiful theme. There is a small problem. Since I use the characters in Russian, the default font is similar to the Times New Roman, and I do not like. Unfortunately heading/menu font Titillium seems not to support Russian characters. You can find a @font-face kit (http://www.fontsquirrel.com/) that supports Russian characters and replace Titillium (we can help you on this if you find a font) or switch to a webfont like Tahoma, Arial, Georgia etc.

A quick note. I checked in all browsers (IE, Chrome, Safari, Firefox) and only browser Opera are old fonts. Deleting the cache and cookies did not help. Tested on different computers. All browsers latest version.
