Yeah that’s strange, WP definitely changed the whole media library functionality… I guess we might be able to remove attachments via the media section in the left sidebar in the dashboard, but I am not sure,… I will have to have the developers check that out.

Thanks for bumping back :) You will need to remove the images from the media library in order to remove them from your gallery. So it basically works like in older versions, you have to delete the image fully to remove it from the post or page.

Is it possible to have multiple fresh sliders? I am wanting separate ones with separate images for individual pages. For example, I am wanting to use the portfolio post pages for separate portfolios for a photography website. I will have one portfolio page for “weddings” and will use the header image but then would like a slider below to have all the images that would fit into that category.

Thanks for the reply, Funny thing is, I actually figured it out. Everyone asks, ” How do i change the color of…” I wanted to not only change the theme color, I wanted to add a new color set to freshpanel. I took me a bit, but I figured out how to add a new item to that array so it appears as a new option in freshpanel. Its really a shame how people act online. You give specific instruction on how and where to get support. And now new and existing users are forced to fish through TF to find details. Oh well, they say, ” the customer is always right…” This should actually be, ” Let the customer THINK they are right…”

I preferred working there too, it was far more organized, but unfortunately there is no way to shut the comments section down and replying to comments only to say that they need to visit the forum is reeeally going to make people angry :( We don’t want that.

I’m afraid you can “only” choose between the many layout variations we offer. However if you’re skilled in PHP and probably CSS you are always free to modify the files to your liking!

1. no I’m afraid it cannot

2. Not within the theme backend, no.

3. The theme will look absolutely perfect on every device. The developers made it with great responsibility about device compatibility. In case you want a different look you would most probably have to recode things. I think there might be plugins that could change the look on mobile devices but I’m afraid I did not know any specific ones, neither did I test any.

Hi, I would like to know if there is a way to create different mix of widgets for sidebars of different Menus under Top Navigation. Currently, I understand that the sidebar is fixed based on “Home Sidebar”, “Page Sidebar”, “Portfolio Sidebar”, “Blog Sidebar” and “Single Sidebar”.

So for example, if I have customised Menus that link me to different categories or even pages, I would want to have customised sidebars for each of the Menus.

Please let me know if this is possible and if there’s any workaround for this. Thanks.

Unfortunately, it looks like my slider does not work ~ show images. I have followed all the video guides but to no avail. I’ve even tried tampering with the FreshSlider as well.

Does it have something to do with the uploaded image’s resolution/size? Or does the FreshSlider need to be initialized for it to work as this wasn’t included in the videos.

You need to go to your FTP WP installation and set the /scripts, the /scripts/cache folder and the timthumb.php file to 775.

Hosting company have said that it has nothing to do with them. I was a little unsure myself to be honest seeing how I have used many different themes with different arrays of contact forms and never had an issue with the hosting before? Have you been able to log in and have a look?

I don’t understand how much more descriptive you need me to be other than reading the original post? However I will explain the situation, again.

The Contact Form on the website does NOT work. You fill in the details on the contact form, you press send, and nothing is sent. The page that the contact form is on just seems to refresh. It is almost like pressing the SEND button is essentially pressing the REFRESH button and nothing comes through? Mel suggested I speak to my hosting, but I have never had a problem with contact forms through my hosting and I have used lots of different varieties of contact forms whilst on the same hosting.

Any ideas?

Thank you for describing it again! I’m sure freshface will get back to you soon with a solution! Did you in fact talk to your hosting company or just said that it has nothing to do with them? Because to be frank every theme you ever used could have used different methods of transferring the contact form, so even if you used 500 contact forms with the same hosting company yet, it doesn’t mean that they cannot fix this issue.

I opened your contact form page, and the problem is, that even when the form has been correctly sent, the PHP code cannot get the variables from the from.

These variables are accesible via $_POST array, but in your case, $_POST array is empty, which i never seen before. Could you please contact your hosting administrator and ask them about this ? Also, is there a chance that you have disabled the POST header options ?

Hiya Mel, yes i did speak to my hosting company. They were the ones that sent me back to you. After I had spoken to them that’s when I thought about all the other contact forms I have used.

Hi freshface, I will get on to my hosting company again tonight and speak to them about what you have mentioned. When you speak about the POST header options? I assume you mean Screen Options with the “allow comments” feature turned on? (which it is). Not sure if I am looking in the wrong place with that one.

Will speak to Godaddy tonight though and see what they make of this $_POST thing you speak of. Many thanks

Right… after spending about an hour on the phone to GoDaddy and smacking my head against a brick wall our efforts were in vain. It would seem that the “action” part of the form was asking it to grab the permalinks (<?php echo get_permalink($post); ?>) or something and that in turn was telling it to just reference back to the contact page for some reason!!

So I did a bit of research and looked at other peoples websites who also use the same theme to see what their “action” was as part of their contact form. Each time all I kept seeing was action=”” so I have tried this and still nothing.

After speaking with Godaddy for an hour they have said there is no reason, there end, why this would not work. They went through the coding with me and when they saw the action line for the form being the following:

<form class=”contact_form” method=”post” action=”http://the-troubled.com/contact/”>

They have said that it is doing exactly what it’s telling it to do. Sorry to be a pain with this one guys but you’re going to have break this one down for me in simplistic terms.

Anyway when I sent this contact form from browser, variable $_POST at the server is empty ( i tried it before ), and I never seen this issu before. So somewhere between the browser and the PHP environment is a problem, and I wasn’t able to solve it, because I never saw this problem before.

You are using timthumb.php version 2.8 which is vulnerable to an exploit (http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/timthumb-vulnerability-scanner/). however when I upgrade to version 2.8.11 that breaks the script and thumbnails don’t show up. Were you aware of this security venerability – how to fix things? Please advise.

You can upload it through FTP directly into the theme subdirectory of your WP installation. You need to upload the unzipped theme folder. it could happen that your max upload limit is too small to upload it through WP.

question two. You make a page “Products” You make a subpage “bikes” You make a sub-subpage “pedals”

On the product page, I would like it to have “bikes” as a quick link to the right, amongst other products. I press Bikes, then I would like to have the subsubpage “pedals” shown to the right.

Does it make sense? :-)

You can deactivate the comments in wp-admin > Settings > Discussion and on every page and post individually in the Discussion metafield.

You seem to need an eCommerce website, which London Creative isn’t. However you can assign custom sidebars by using the plugin “unlimited sidebars” or “sidebar generator”.

I installed this theme over two years ago and forgot my original account on themeforest :(

But since the update of the latest Wordpress, I found that the images that should appear at the top of each post (underlapping the date) no longer show up. Instead, I now only have a link that says “postimg.” I’m not sure what I’m supposed to do in order to fix this.
