Hola FreshFace. When you wrote this theme… did it by any chance remove the option to turn off commenting on pages? can’t seem to find it. Thanks! Great theme!!!
Hi there!
Our code definitely provides a comment feature. Did you try to activate it in the Discussions section of your wp-admin > Settings and/or activate them in the Discussion section of the edit page view directly?
Thanks and cheers!
— Melanie
I’m having issues with the post’s total comments tally marker. It doesn’t display correctly in Google Chrome but is fine in Firefox. If you open the below link in Chrome you can see the number overlaps my blog post’s header/title.
http://mikeniederquell.com/Any ideas?
Thanks,
Mike
Hi Mike!
Add this to freshpanel -> custom code -> css
inner_content .entry a.comment_counter {right: 20px;}
Hi, is this theme responsive? How will it look on mobile/tablets?
Hi there!
Since the theme looks perfect on any devices, responsiveness is not needed. It will look just like the demo on every device
Thanks and cheers!

Hi, I just bought the WP theme “London Creative 4.3” and it doesn’t seem to work on my Wordpress 3.4.2. Is it compatible with the latest version of wordpress? It shows up in my “Themes” section after installing, and there were no errors. But when trying LivePreview of Activate, it shows a blank page with only some text. Can you help please?
Hi there!
You can see the officially confirmed compatible WP versions in the right sidebar on this page.
Thanks and cheers!
— Melanie
Ohh I got it working, but when I activate the theme, it give me this error message at the top: “Warning: Invalid argument supplied for foreach() in /home/thegalli/public_html/wp-content/themes/londoncreative/freshwork/freshpanel/freshpanel.php on line 9”
How can it be fixed?
Hi there!
Try going to the freshpanel and click save twice. Please use the Reply button instead of starting a new comment, helps us to keep track of your ticket history.
Thanks and cheers!
— Melanie
Hi, thanks for the reply. The error still happens despite clicking on save twice. It only shows when I activate the theme though. Not sure if it will affect the usage of the theme in any way?
Also, I have another problem now, the Slider doesn’t seem to work. I have watched the video and created a “slider” category as suggested, and got the ID and place it in the FreshPanel under “Slider Categories”, but its still a blank… Even after assigning the slider category to a few posts.
Hi there!
Could you show us your website URL ?
Thanks and cheers!
— Melanie
Here it is: http://thegallivantpost.com
Also, I am still getting this error whenever I activate the theme: “Warning: Invalid argument supplied for foreach() in /home/thegalli/public_html/wp-content/themes/londoncreative/freshwork/freshpanel/freshpanel.php on line 9”
Thanks!
Hi there!
Feel free to attach your login details so we can directly check out the issue. See my signature on a how-to.
Thanks and cheers!
— Melanie
Ok done, the no. is “1033”
Sorry but now I have another issue. My posts are showing up all over the theme with the olders posts at the top and latest ones at the bottom. Not sure why this is happening. Have never had this problem with any other theme before….
Hi there!
I just logged in to your site but I can neither find the error message nor see that the posts are all over the place? Your homepage looks perfect and the posts are ordered correctly. Am I missing something?
Thanks and cheers!
— Melanie
Hi,
You would have to switch to another theme, then re-activate the London Creative theme to see the error message at the top.
Also, if you look at the homepage now, I can’t seem to get the slider to work at all. I have created the “slider” category, and put in the ID no. on FreshPanel, and assigned some articles with the category as instructed, but its not showing up at all.
Lastly, on the category pages such as this: http://thegallivantpost.com/category/features/ the articles are showing up with the dates in reverse, such that the older articles are at the top, and the newer ones at the bottom, is this a possible bug? Or perhaps there is a setting to have the latest articles at the top?
Thanks!
Hi again,
I managed to sort out the post arrangements in the category pages.
However, I am still getting that strange error message whenever I “Activate” the theme.
And most importantly, the Slider still isn’t working despite having assigned a “slider” category and pointing to it.
Please help
Hello,
Can I use one of the images that are in the demo slider, or they are copyright protected?
Thanks !
Hi there!
Yes, they are copyright protected, sorry!
Thanks and cheers!
— Melanie
Hello,
I have just uploaded the site @ http://cleanbodyfitness.bignumbers.ca/with the new version of the theme yet the slider and the drop-down capabilities of the navigation still do not work. I wonder if further work on my end needs to be done?
Thank You!
Hi there!
Did you already follow point 7. and 8. of the documentation according to the slider? And point 3. and 14. about the navigation and the homepage? You can find the documentation inside the unzipped download package you got from themeforest, then inside the
!!!_documentation_!!!folder.If you already did that, I would need your wp-admin login details to see if everything is set up correctly.
Thanks and cheers!
— Melanie
Is there any way to make it so the Fresh:Popular widget is based off of a visit count, or something other than the number of comments on a post?
Hi there!
No, sorry, that is not possible. You could try finding a plugin that does that tho, but you might will have to adjust some styling afterwards.
Thanks and cheers!
— Melanie
Hello Freshface!
I’m trying to migrate our site using your template from a free host service to our servers. But the template won’t transfer… any suggetsions? DB WP and all transfered successfuly.
Thx.
Hi there!
You need to download the theme from your old server and upload it to the new server via FTP to the folder wp-content/themes.
Thanks and cheers!
— Melanie
Do you have any plans to update this to be compatible with 3.4.2?
Hi there!
It is compatible. If you have issues, please let us know in details and we will fix them.
Thanks and cheers!
Hello again,
Any updates on why blog post formatting has been recently corrupted? I get titles, dates and the total comment numbers overlapping with post headlines.
http://mikeniederquell.com/Hi Mike!
Add this to freshpanel -> custom code -> css
#inner_content .entry a.comment_counter {right: 20px;}Thanks! That fixed it…kind of.
Seems I just need to have a header image for each post. Now the comments icon overlaps the date.
Hi there!
Okay good.
Thanks and cheers!
— Melanie
Hi Melanie,
I have submitted the login info to you because I re-installed the theme one more time and the drop-down capabilities still do not work, as well as the sliding capabilities for the slider. I originally set-up this theme way back in the spring thus it is interested as to why these 2 functions stopped working only now – considering I also re-installed the theme recently.
If you can take a further look and help – it would be much appreciated!
URL for reference: http://cleanbodyfitness.bignumbers.ca/
Hi there!
What’s the ID of your login detail submission?
Thanks and cheers!
— Melanie
Hey Melanie,
My login submission ID is 1079 for cleanbodyfitness.bignumbers.ca
Appreciate your help!
Julia

Hi Melanie,
Sure thing – sorry about that. Like previously mentioned – the drop down capabilities of the navigation as well as the sliding function of the slider disappeared a lot of a sudden. And did not return once I re-installed the theme.
Appreciate your help!
Hi there!
One of your plugins broke this. Please get rid of it.
Thanks and cheers!
— Melanie
I’ll try to figure out which plug-in it was. Thank you so much for setting those functionalities back-up
Hi there!
No problem.
Thanks and cheers!

Hi freshface
Is it possible to change the main container background colour within the code of your London Creative Theme?
I would like to change the White background to grey.
Which part of the code would I edit in the Edit Theme area of Wordpress?
Hope you can help.
Many thanks,
Leigh.
Hi there!
Depending on the skin you are using, change it in color.css line 9: background:white;
like: yellow.css line 9: #container { background: white; }
Thanks and cheers!

Hello,
I have installed this theme with WP 3 .4.2, 3.3.3 and now, 3.3.0. All of them result in this: http://mrtins.com
I’ve done nothing but install WordPress and activate this theme. Is this how it’s supposed to look?
Hi there!
Since this is a WordPress theme you will have to deliver the content yourself and set it up yourself. Please refer to our documentation to find out how.
Thanks and cheers!
— Melanie
Hey freshface,
I can’t get my slider to show up. Any idea what’s up?
My site is c3saskatoon.com
Hi there!
No, I’m afraid I have no idea why. Did you check your settings and follow the instructions in our documentation?
Thanks and cheers!
— Melanie
1085
Yes, to my knowledge I did everything as instructed. I sent my login info! I think. hah
Hi there!
Please follow our documentation the next time – I set the wp-admin > Settings > Reading to “latest blog posts” again… Solved.
Thanks and cheers!
— Melanie
Hi there,
I would like to purchase this theme but have just installed Wp 3.4.2.
After reading the comments by yonk I am concerned that the theme would not be compatible with our version of Wp. Were his issues resolved? We really love this theme!
Thanks!
Sonya
Hi there!
Please use one of the compatible WP versions.
Thanks and cheers!
— Melanie
Hi there!
It is compatible with the latest WordPress version. If you find a bug, report it to us and we will fix it.
Thanks and cheers!
Hello
I am trying to set up another page to display certain posts (ideally include or exclude certain categories)
On an earlier comment on this site I saw a reference to a help file, but either I don’t have the right help file, or the help file is very “light” (the help file I see shows a series of videos, which don’t seem to have any sound, which is more about how to post your first Blog)
Any way, so what I really want to do is: 1. Find something that tells me the steps in setting a separate page (not the Home Page) to display Blog Posts (I can kind of do this if I copy index.php and make some changes, but I want to make sure I am doing it the London Creative way) 2. Have this page exclude certain categories (or only include a certain category)
Can this be done?
Thanks
Hi there!
Please re-post your question from the account you have used to purchase this theme.
Thanks and cheers!
I can’t do that, because I didn’t purchase the theme, my client did
I don’t understand why simple questions won’t get answered on this forum about themes that people like me (designers, who don’t typically purchase the themes that their clients want to use) end up having to use, despite not being the original purchaser
I understand providing support here is probably totally voluntary, but seriously, if I haven’t found a resolution to this problem within 12 days, I’d be out of a job
So you won’t even tell me where to get these help files, or confirm whether the video help files I do have are all that there is to the help files? Seriously?
Hi there!
Sorry but as you said correctly the support is voluntary. We don’t get money for that besides the money the theme purchase gives us, and that’s not even half an hour of my freelance work worth. So the least you can do in order to receive free support is to verify that you purchased our item
Thanks for understanding!
Thanks and cheers!
— Melanie
I also get the error message when I activate the Theme as the person state above.
I send you my login details and the number is: 1092
if you check my site: www.vegaslovesbrazil.com everything is off. to see the error message please activate another theme and then activate the London theme again. Once activated you will see 3 error messages.
thanks
Hi Ramon!
Your site seems to be working just fine. Let us know if the issue comes back.
Thanks and cheers!
Has there been a fix possible for the comment bubble showing over the Subject of the post yet in Chrome? So weird but I can’t seem to fix that glitch.
Thanks – Mike
Hi Mike!
I don’t know either, but this workaround works:
Add this to freshpanel -> custom code -> css
inner_content .entry a.comment_counter {right: 20px;}
Thanks and cheers!
