Could this work as a magazine blog. Just want to display the sidbar…posts and slider for the posts on the homepage and change the backrground white for my logo and is there social options and icons etc.

Just want a theme that’ll suit a technology blog. A post slider and blog format with a right-sidebar – just like a normal blog. I looked at this theme, and I’m very interested. Hopefully you can answer soon.
Noticed one bug – when you hover over a post title and it has a t on the end, the yellow doesn’t fully cover it.

Would this suit a tech blog. Can I set up the homepage as a blog and add posts to the slider and have my category pages with posts. What can I add to the top bar and footer..social icons and can I add my own logo. A bit confused. Will there be future updates.

Yes I could see a tech blog using this theme, but there might as well be better suiting themes out there. It all depends on your personal liking.
You can have blog posts on the homepage to the extend you can see in our demo. You can also increase the number of posts you want to display below the slider.
The slider as it is now works with blog posts, you can see that by clicking on a slider title, it will take you to a post. Posts of a certain category will get pulled to the slider automatically.
The bar at the very very top is only a graphic element, to you would have to modify php code in order to add something there. This theme in particular does not have widgetized areas on the footer. However, this theme of freshface lets you add content to the footer. Maybe you would like to do that? On both themes you can add your own logo.
Updates will be done once it’s really necessary, but big updates like changing core functionality or adding features are not in the pipeline. Only if a bug needs fixing we provide updates, but you will get instructions about that too and I’m always here to help.

Don’t put yourself down, you seem like a great person.. Just want a theme which can have a home page with a slider blog posts and a right side bar. Is it easy to set Up and are the social icons part of the theme. And if I made changes to the css files would you be able to help me in the future update manually via my ftp so I don’t lose them please.

Thank you very much for your understanding response; it means a lot to me that you forgive me – even tho I won’t yet be able to forgive myself.
London Creative + lets you have a slider, blog posts and a right sidebar on the homepage. It will look like in our demo, that’s how we got it set up at the moment.
The theme does not include social media icons and it does not have footer widgets, so in case you want to add text or icons to the footer you would have to modify the footer.php file.
I am definitely here for you in case you need help with small customizations. But be aware that the theme support is free in case of theme bugs, errors, troubleshooting or setup help. In terms of free modifications we will have to draw the line somewhere. But I will also be available in case you want to pay for modifications that go beyond the scope of free support I am allowed to give.
I always recommend having multiple backups of the theme, so in case you modify anything you can always return back to the original state.

Sorry. I actually have autism, so I get worried. I like the theme, and there’s no big bug. In the top bar, can I add social icons? Do you have that option? Just want to know if it’s easy to set up, blog posts, and posts in the slider.

I would really like to apologize for being rude. It was unprofessional and I should not have talked to you like that. I am really sorry and feel embarrassed. Freshface himself also dispraised me for that, so be sure that my behaviour in no way reflects what Freshface thinks.
On this theme you unfortunately can only add social media icons to the top bar if you interfere with the coding.
In terms of easy set up: we do not deliver demo content, so you will have to rely on the documentation for a setup. And of course you can rely on me for help. Rockwell has a similar look and feel like London Creative+, but it might has more features like the widgets in the footer.
Whichever theme you buy, I ensure you my personal assistance for as long as I work for freshface, I really owe that to you after treating you so bad. Sorry.

That’s a little difficult. We cannot let you test on our demo because potential buyers need to see it live and perfect, and we cannot give you the theme for free, both because it is legally not allowed to distribute items for free on themeforest – we would risk authorship – and because it is not possible to “return” a digital product after testing. So I’m afraid it won’t be possible :/ Sorry

a bit confusing about the date. the sidebar said that your last updates are on 18 june 2012. but the latest theme are still on 4.3 which is released in september 2011. i remember installed verion 4.3 in december 2011. any changes since that?
London Creative + has been tested and confirmed to be comatible with WP 3.5

Great theme but unfortunately, I have no luck activating it.
What I did was the following: 1) Unzipped downloaded theme -> 2 folders ->_MACOSX and lcp_wp_theme_v4.3 2) Unzipped file in lcp_wp_theme_v4.3 -> Theme -> londoncreative.zip and uploaded it via ftp
Afterwards, I activated the template and it came up like this (took a snapshot): http://watervipers.com/help.gifCan you please let me know which step I did incorrectly?

I was just wondering if there was a way to disable the SEARCH bar to the right of the navigation and to remove the TITLE and DESCRIPTION features on the slider as I only want it to show the images and nothing else? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Congrats on a fab theme too!

Please use Firebug / Chrome developer tools. You can find the CSS class and then you can easily add ”.class {display:none;}” into style.css

I am pretty sure I have set up the contact form correctly. I have used the Contact from “Default Template” and gone to the Fresh Panel to add all of my details etc. After the form is filled in and you press the send button. The page almost just refreshes. It doesn’t tell me whether the message has been successfully sent, or if there has been a problem (the fields also appear blank too!). No, WPML is not implemented, but you can translate this theme in the option panel to one language.

Hi, I wanted to see how you can delete the “leave a comment” section from each page….i found where you told someone else to scroll to the bottom of each page and click off the “allow comments” box, but I do not see that. can you help?

once you’re in the page editor mode, in the upper right screen corner you find the screen options tab. Open that and enable “discussion”. Then you have the field to deactivate comments below the page editor.
