You should do it via HTML and css as theme does not have such functionality. Edit page Section, remove the background image and set background color.

Bought this theme 5 days ago and installed it. The admin section doesn’t appear to be working correctly across a number of browsers. Opened a support ticket at Artbees.

Dear Sirs, I’ve been faced with a following problem on your web-site: while editing “Portfolios” and demo-content there arises a problem in visual editor (for some reasons it cannot be attached). After pressing on the “page composer” – the warning is displayed: “Your page layout was created with previous Page Composer version. Before converting your layout to the new version, make sure to read this page”. The result is that conversion fails and the structure of layouts is being broken down. Hi,

I love the theme, but I am having a major issue with one page in the Iphone5. I built one page solely using page composer and that’s the page that has errors. Firstly, the background shows up gray. Secondly, the links on the page do not work. Thirdly, there is a blue menu on the bottom that does not go to responsive and instead stacks on top of each other. I am using the latest version of your theme. I believe it is the visual composer. I have another website with the VELLUM theme and they have placed the plugin files where a user can easily override it with an updated version. Lucidpress, however, is using an old version of page composer from over 5 months ago and the composer files are “scattered” in places that make it impossible to update the files, without waiting on you.

The new version of Visual Composer should give the user the option to test the layouts on different devices.

The new version of Visual Composer allows for frontend editing. The version in Lucidpress is changed by you to the point of not working correctly.

The new version of Visual Composer allows you to place most, if not all widgets available. Widgets aren’t even an option in your version. Lots of gray boxes, but no widgets.

I can NOT wait for another theme update from you. I would like you to email me the UPDATED files for the Visual Composer. Please do NOT ask me to submit a support ticket, as 1. I do not have the time to wait twice, and the fix should be posted here in public for those who are experiencing the same issue. Giving customers an updated theme with old plugins in not nice. You advertise that the Visual Composer is included, so the plugin should work like it should. Thank you in advance for your quick attention to this matter.

I just found another issue with Lucidpress’s version of Visual Composer. Your version does not offer a raw html element. Because of this, I can not place a live web cam code inside one of the pages. I see you have replied to other comments a few hours ago, but skipped my post. I need someone to PLEASE send me the UPDATED files for the Visual Composer

Calm down please! Nobody is ignoring you.

We have been badly busy with our updates. Since 15th of July I do not directly answer to comments and 2 of my less technical guys responding to comments. The reason is the on progress updates. so some comments left for me to check every 1-2 days. You have posted 14 hours ago (I was sleeping that time)

Regarding your critiques I have some feedbacks for you :

1. VC is not unstable and it works just fine. the version you have been using in LP, is also added in our other themes. None of the customers are complaining about it and we are serious about such bugs if any occurred we would have fixed it earlier.

2. VC new updates were mostly related to frontend modules and its built-in shortcodes, which we dont even use them in our themes. we have been using the backend module to help customers use the builder to avoid direct interaction with shortcodes.

3. VC authors has released huge release which helped customers build their content in frontend. Therefore we are on this direction to update our VC in all of our themes and as it takes huge time to do so, we did not want to do this migration with hassle and rush to prevent any bugs and issues. So we have had a detailed timing and plans

4. VC 4.3 is at the moment in Beta version and we are in the beta testers group along with other authors. We have been testing it and waiting for last stable release to get started and implement it in our themes. Only then we will proceed with migration. This is our main focus at this moment and we are excited to implement the new version.

So stay tuned and if you need my help about anything, please let me know.

P.S. We have been working hardly (even on weekends) to manage the support team and our intense development phase. so please bear with us.

I have thoroughly read through your comments, portfolio and such today. I see you apologize alot because you’re busy. Ever consider hiring more people? Yes, you WERE ignoring me, because you were replying to people this afternoon and skipped right over my post.

The problems I was having was not in my imagination. I am not one of the clueless customers that don’t know about web development. You are using a plugin version 3.16.13 and they are now in version 4+, with TONS of changes since the version you’re using. For you to say there are no issues is an outright lie. Just put the word composer in the comments and you will see how many. Just because they don’t have the identical issue as I do, does NOT mean there’s not a problem with the plugin.

I knew I would see no resolution from you. You are taking NO responsibility for you cheating the customers. You advertise they get a $30 value. That alone is a lie. The plugin costs $25, which I had to purchase today, as I knew Artbees was going to say nothing was wrong. So, I went ahead and purchased the plugin AND the video parallax extension for it. I proceeded to sift through your theme and updated the plugin myself to the newest version. The minute I did, the Beach cam video worked like it should and no more issues with Iphone5. So, now I am sure I was right all along as things are working right the way they should. Unlike other themes I own, you don’t even make it possible for the average person to update the plugin themselves, as it doesn’t even reside in the plugins directory. But of course, that would cause no problems, right? lol Apparently you need to reread the wordpress codex and structure rules… Shame on you! Pretty sad when a customer can update a plugin in a theme faster then the theme’s author. This is a very important client and I had to do something. Sad that a customer has to spend an additional $35 to fix YOUR theme. It would be nice if you reimbursed me some of that money, but I don’t see that happening any time soon. Just know that I will never purchase anything made by ArtBees ever again and will be telling my fellow web developers the same thing. I will no longer update the theme or plugin from this point on, as I am deathly afraid of your next updated theme release. I have already been contacted by three potential buyers after they saw my post. I wouldn’t count on them buying your theme any time soon. In closing, it’s obvious you love making your customers wait and love pissing them off. I run a business and would never let a customer get this irate with my services. again…shame on you…

What you call excuses is our responses to your case. Again:

- Current VC is being used in our 3 WordPress themes by over 12K users. Please note we only do our best to resolve any issues and problems attached to this plugin, we have used the backend drag and drop module and not all of its built-in features and shortcodes are added, thats the reason we have named it Page Composer (instead of Visual Composer) to prevent confusions. As said we have been busy to migrate to VC new versions mostly for VC add ons and some of its newly added features.

- Its not a major issue in our case but as few customers asked us (in a kind manner) about the add ons, the outcome is our heavy work on it and put it into top priority.

- Again we do not ignore any customer and all the team are committed to fix all issues arise from our products.

- I could have flagged your comment for inappropriate language and can disregard your refund request as no violation of terms has occurred from our side but to help you out of your situation we will confirm your request. so please proceed accordingly.

You seem more like an internet troll than anything else. For start Artbees are some of the best developers on Theme Forest since their first appearance. Their themes are well designed and full of amazing and innovative issues. I’ve been floating on TF for some years and they always caught my eye. As everything speeded on from WP to plugins, everyone needs to be updated that’s for sure. But we are able to wait and stay calm. If they choose to use Visual Composer they were already helping you out from start, giving you that tool for free and making your work faster.

You come here and pay some ridiculous $55 that you could spend on dinning out and then you show your amazing work to your clients selling it by a bunch more. And then you still complain like you want everything neat on a plate just like you want. Shouting that nobody should buy such a thing.

Better you go to a fast-food parlor and get some sh*y meal and help yourself looking for excuses on your doctor bill.

For me, I’LL ALWAYS BUY ARTBEES STUFF and still feel myself ahead of the rest.

When I import the demo data of lucidpress theme, why some fonts (like fancy heading) looks different from the demo on your website: http://artbees.net/themes/lucidpress-demo/

If the demo data in the downloaded package is different from your demo site, could you please provide the original data of your demo site to me? Your demo site looks so nice.
