very nice theme. a few questions:
-is it possible to remove the square grid background from center area and make this plain white in the options panel?
-is it possible to show all post instead of excerpt?
-is center area fixed width or can i make it wider?
Thanks for you comment, genm! On to your questions:
1. I’m pondering for some time now over making this theme fully customizable by including several preset colors of the logo, buttons and colors/patterns of the backgrounds respectively. Hopefully I’m going to implement this within the next couple of weeks. In the meantime if you write down your e-mail through the contact form on my TF profile page I would gladly send you a clean center background and instructions on using it.
2. Actually, what you see on the demo page is ‘the_content’ with a more tag. If you want the whole post to be displayed without ‘Continue reading’ just don’t include this tag in your post.
3. For now the width is fixed.
Its a great theme. The only thing I would suggest is to use image sprites not only to seed things up but also to avoid “flickering” when you hover over the buttons.
Thanks WPExplorer and yes I agree with your point! I’m actually using sprites in most of my projects but in this one particularly I wanted to experiment a bit with preload images maybe partially for the sake of making logo and buttons editing easier for the user. It needs some additional work though and I’m guessing in the next several days there will be an update.
This Wordpress theme has really unique layout, which presents content in a really winning way!

Thanks, johannes1000! I’m not sure I fully understand your first question. Do you mean an exported .xml file of the demo site? Please explain.
Regarding the second one, ‘Luminosity’ does not have a gallery page at the moment though it might be easily implemented with adding a new page template and using a quality plugin such as this one.

Hi there, I like the colors a lot! The “logo” took really long to load (Around 10 seconds after all the featured images were loaded), maybe some people will hover it and mistake it for disappearing when hovered because the hovered image is not loaded yet. Better use a sprite for that. Good luck with sales
Hello Shurly and thanks for the feedback! I’ve created the logo with the idea of it’s center ornament being replaced by whatever the user would like. As I’ve said earlier somewhere in the comments I use image preloading technique instead of sprites since I find the latter more prone to mistakes during graphical editing. I actually noticed the delay you are talking about and hopefully the update I requested for upload a while ago would fix that.

Pretty theme. BUT Terrible backend… Difficult to work with.
I’m a css coder and even i found this confusing.
Far too limited theme.
The first version of the theme was created mostly with the idea of covering the basic layout and WordPress functionality. Yesterday I’ve uploaded Luminosity version 2.0 that includes an admin menu through which you can enter all your personal/contact/copyright information, header, subheader, analytics code, Flickr ID, etc.; you can choose between 4 color schemes and 8 background patterns; there are also some additional page templates including a gallery. Still waiting for the TF staff to approve my request and upload the files…it’s the weekend so I guess it could take up to several more hours
Oh really? Great it doesn’t seem to be there yet. But when it does I will give it another go.
Does the new menu support the wp3 menu system?
(please note i wasn’t intending a personal attack with the post, It would be very easy for a very unexperienced person to buy this theme and not have the functionality they require)
