1. You can setup review posts by filling in the custom fields under the Review Info box which is located under the post editor.
2. This theme has a responsive design. Here is no need in these attributes.
3. You mean social icons in the top corner? If so you’re right.

Theme looks nice – before I purchase, can the bg color be changed? Are both left hand columns widgetized? Is it possible to put custom content underneath the slider in between the slider and the post category sections? (either manually or with a widget?)

3. Yes, it is. It can be done through the widgets. The homepage can be build through the widgets or you can show your latest posts (like a classic blog).

On my demo the widgets has a coloured titles. In any case you can find an answer to your question when you’ll do it.
I have a problem. I have everything ready, but I need just the slideshow. No I get the slides, leaving only an icon (loading) and then disappears.
