Yes an .xml file containing the demo site is included. Once you install the theme, notifications in the back end are also shown for additional steps that you would need to do. e.g. set a menu, create wp’s upload’s folder, etc.

Nope, the theme was just released a few hours ago. Check out the screenshots in the theme info for a preview of the admin panels and some screenshots. The demo site (http://themes.mas.gambit.ph) also contains everything there is about the theme (shortcodes and how to use them, etc) as well as a preview panel for changing backgrounds and colors for the theme

Hi Peter, I previously changed my focus from themes to iOS games, hence the unfortunate decrease in support. Now I’m back to themes! (too much competition with the big guys joining the industry) Currently, there’s a lot to make up for.. I need to update all the themes since they’re way outdated (wp 3.4 or below) all of the other themes will have a feature base the same as MaS, and I need to get support up and running smoothly again. It’ll take a bit of time to get everything up to speed.. but for starters, MaS is going to be well supported as it’s going to be the basis for all the themes.. with the other themes following suit as they get updated in the days to come. The support forum will be shutdown and won’t be used temporarily, I will be providing support here in the comments section for now.

Yes the landing page is not fixed and can be any page you want (full-width, sidebars, a page full of blog posts or a portfolio page). You can’t however make it look like lundsten.net, the layout would still follow the MaS layouts (a header box with either an image, slider or video with the menus on top, or no header box)

Hey, thanks for pointing that misalignment, must have missed it. I just fixed it. It’s now applied to the demo site. The new version with the alignment fix will be available after TF reviews it

I have exciting news, RTL is now supported in v1.1! I’m uploading the update now so it should be reviewed and downloadable in a day or two. The whole list of changes in v1.1 is listed in the theme’s info page

I did that, still no MaS theme there. A support ticket was issued, but I never go a response. Checked my spam folder, started another ticket, nothing happening. I am wondering if they are just ignoring me.

Hmm, that is weird. Sad to say but I can’t do anything on my end and it’s up to support to answer I doubt they’re ignoring you, it usually takes them a few days to answer

Ah, turning it off may require some editing. Adding a new one may be easier. To add a new one, upload your .font.js file to your wp-content/uploads folder then use it in the code by editing the file make_a_statementv1.x/application/controllers/script.php and implementing this: http://pastie.org/6165610

What font are you going to use? I’ll try and add that to the list. If you have any more suggestions on Cufon fonts, let me know too

For pages, when editing your page, scroll down below your content editor to the additional options tab named MAS ? Page Options. Change the Sidebar location from full-width to either left or right sidebar. A new option should show up where you can select the sidebar to use.

For sidebars in all blog posts visit the theme’s admin panel Posts, you’ll find a similar option there. Then for all portfolio items, Portfolio.

The site is fixed! The server was issuing warnings for when the image resizer was checking where the images were located. The warnings are now suppressed. The image resizer doesn’t anymore iterate over a number of folders, and now only checks the uploads folder and the theme’s folder. The updates I performed on your end will be included in the next version

I believe the problem may be with the form, its width is fixed and it doesn’t play well in a smaller container. Try the page with your col3 & col23 column content again with your form inside the col3 column. But this time add this to your custom styles (in the theme’s style admin panel):

    width: 100% !important;

In a global scope, it’s faster to use a CDN rather than loading scripts from your own server. The CDN jsdelivr has a reliable and fast load time, plus it saves you bandwidth It’s quite hard to compress all the scripts into a single one (especially in a theme), since the loading of the scripts depends on the usage of the theme. e.g. if the Google map shortcode isn’t used, then it isn’t loaded. Some scripts though are always called (e.g. menu, jquery, and lazy load), but unfortunately we cannot combine these scripts because of a few reasons:

1. Some scripts require to be loaded first before anything else (e.g. jquery)
2. Some scripts aren’t that essential, so we can load them at a later time (e.g. lazy load)
3. Some scripts, as per WP theme common practice must be loaded by the server (e.g. jquery)
4. We use freely available CDNs which allow only commonly used libraries to be included in their service (e.g. lazy load is under cdnjs CDN, cufon fonts are in jsdelivr. cdnjs won’t allow the cufon fonts to be hosted there) since only my themes use them

You can add multiple additional contact form options by comma separating them. e.g. “Option 1, Option 2”.

For now you cannot assign an icon. In the future I will put in a provision to allow shortcodes in the field so that you can use the icon shortcode. However, this will be included in the next version.

v1.2 is coming, it has the ability you’re asking for! You can put in an icon shortcode in the additional contact form options! For example, you can do a

[icon type='pencil'] Option 1, [icon type='phone'] Option 2
