page does not load after installing template

Hi,

did you install only the template or the quickstart package?

If you have installed the quickstart did you click on Step 3 on Test Sample Data (last option in Joomla 3 installation). Also did you check all Joomla system requirements on Step 3 from the installation process?

You can send me a link to your site (support@dhtheme.com).

Hi,

how can i edit the main page and put a div for a 3d carousel i want to embed? i can not find the main page file

thank you

Hello,

if you’re talking about the home page – the home page article is disabled by default in the quickstart. To enable it you to go to > Site admin > Extensions > Template manager > Masoko > click on the Profiles tab > choose from the first drop down menu “frontpage” > scroll down till you see the “System Output” option > select Yes and save. Then your frontpage article will be displayed.

You can put your div in the article or in a module position.

thank you for the quick rsponse. i am not talking about the home page article. i am talking about the main page (landing page). i want to embed a 3d carousel that needs to be writen inside the code of the page.

Hello,

you can embed any code you like in any module or article. To do so just disable your text editor first, so you can prevent any stripping of the code.

To stop the editor go to Global configuration > Default Editor (text editor) field > select None and save. Then open the article or the module in which you wish to add the embed code and paste it there > save and check the page, the code should be there. Then you can turn on again your editor.

Hi

Great template, thank you.

I have a question regarding the mobile / responsive select menu: Is it possible to change this menu from a select menu to look more like the main menu drop downs. With an icon next to the logo and when clicked on the menu opens up, and where you have 3rd level menus show an arrow next to the menu item which then opens up the next level below the item ?

Thank you Quintin

Hi Quintin,

unfortunately the responsive menu has only this layout at the moment. This is the default responsive menu in Warp 6.

Sorry, I posted a new item instead of replying to this one.

Thank you for the quick response

Which file should I edit in order to change the responsive menu ?

dhsign

Hi,

you can start with templates/masoko/warp/js/responsive.js and templates/masoko/warp/css/responsive.css. To be honest we have never tried to restyle the menu, it’s coded in Warp framework itself, so when you’re making changes be sure to backup them because with an update you will lose them.

Hi Jordan

Regarding the Team layout. The write ups I’m adding for the different members aren’t all the same length – so what happens is my rows aren’t all the same height and the pictures aren’t all displayed in the same row – looks a little untidy.

Is there a way to change the Category blog style to display more in a table style view where all are rows are the same height ?

Regards Quintin

Hi Quintin,

I would suggest to use an extension for this, which may be is the easiest way. Also you won’t need to add additional css or modifications on the default category settings.

You can check this one: http://extensions.joomla.org/extensions/style-a-design/design/21690

Hello there! Thanx for the great template, its a wonderfull job. i have an isue with my site.. i notice that there is a bit latency on every click i make from one menu to another. (about 3-5’‘). Is there anything i can do to solve it.? it looks like its caching the page every time i click on any menu! Thakx in advance!

dhsign

Hi,

normally you shouldn’t have such problems, but you can try this:

1. Global configuration > System tab > Cache settings > Cache > select OFF;

2. Extensions > Template manager > Masoko > Enable Compression (if the latency is caused by heavy css or js files).
