Can anyone point me to a tutorial or resource that can show me how to adjust line height, and word spacing within the maxmag theme? The default text is too close together and I would like to space it out more. Thanks for any help.

Hi folks … have hottopix and working great for relaunching one of our ancient magazine sites in snazzier form. Looking at this Max Mag for one of our other sites, however noticed that the menu for Max Mag doesn’t “reduce” properly on iPad when in portrait mode as the Hot Topix navbar dcoes. Meaning, with MM, the menu for the demo you have breaks into two lines, vs getting “smaller” as with Hot Topix, which is great. Any chance of updating this to work the same way? We really want to be iPad compatible (I use mine every day…) hence the concern on this minor “issue.” THANKS!!!

Thanks for bringing this to my attention as this was an oversight on my part based on a change I made in the last update. If you take another look at the demo, the issue should be resolved and the change will be reflected in the next update.

Hello, I’ve been using this template for a couple of months now and its been great – look awesome and easy to use. I’ve just run into an issue that I hope is an easy fix. I want to add a blog section and I can’t seem to find a way an option for this type of format? As of now, I can only post something with a photo and if I leave one out, it will end up pointing to the slider and just sit there with the wheel spinning waiting to load something that is not there. I just want a normal blog section consisting of posts without photos with recent posts first etc.. It’s a pretty standard feature so Im not sure if Im missing something?!! Please help!

You can use any javascript or HTML based ad code, whether it is from Google Adsense, an affiliate program, or a simple HTML linked image.
I’m still having trouble trying to set up any ads. Maybe it’s a dumb question but what does ad code look like? What’s the best way to do an HTML linked image … and would that work for the preset ad spots like the 728X90 and 222×90 built into the theme? Thanks for your help.

Theme is working great! I am using the built in Facebook and Twitter widgets very nice! Facebook is fine but, my Twitter widget was working the first couple days now it just says “loading tweets” – any idea?

Unfortunately the new Twitter API kicked in which changes the way Twitter interacts with plugins. Due to this change, the Twitter widget will be removed in the next update and will no longer be supported. I apologize for any inconvenience.
That stinks.. I really loved that Facebook and Twitter was built into this site. I understand Twitter changed the API but, there must be a new way to get the feed. I guess I will search for plugins..
