Important Notice for Users interested in Joomla 3.X:

Although the latest version of joomla seems to be 3.2 the latest stable Long Term Support is Joomla 2.5. Joomla has a kind of it’s own rules on joomla versions. As announced by joomla’s official site (http://docs.joomla.org/Release_and_support_cycle) there will be two versions of joomla in the future the Short Term Support (STS) version and Long Term Support (LTS) version. Joomla org says ”.. STS (short term support) releases are supported for seven months. Their support ends one month after the next release of Joomla is released. They are one click upgrades to the next STS or LTS version. LTS (long term support) releases are supported for twenty-seven months.” The STS versions are a kind of pre-release or pre-prepared versions for LTS versions so they may have some bugs, problems and they need some more improvements. We advise to use LTS joomla versions. ”.. Generally, the first STS release after an LTS release indicates the beginning of a new major release cycle” ”.. Two more STS releases follow (usually compatible with the first STS release), and the release cycle is finished by the release of an LTS release which finalizes the work of the three STS releases. The four releases in one cycle will usually be numbered [major].0,[major].1 and [major].2 (STS) and [major].5 (LTS). For example, the STS release 3.0 will include breaking changes from 2.5, and 3.5 will include matured versions of the changes in 3.0, 3.1 and 3.2.”. So the Joomla 3.2 is a STS version and it will expire when joomla 3.5 is out.

In spite of this notice please note that Joomla 3.x version of Maxx is also available in package.
