Thank you Sara and everyone at Yi for all of your hard work. Please don’t let all the negative comments make you feel down. You guys are amazing at what you do. If you search for a Wordpress Ecommerce theme sorted by sales, the Mayashop theme is on top by far and it is obviously with good reason too. I will patiently wait for the updated version of the theme to be released before upgrading Woo. Thank you for all of your support.

Hi Sara! First, your team provides outstanding support, and are clearly working very hard to get the newest release to all of us. Sorry about all the people giving you a hard time! We’re all eagerly waiting for the newest version, but it’s no reason to be rude :) I was just wondering – I know you released the beta version yesterday or Wednesday, and you’ve mentioned it’s stable. Yesterday you noted that you would put the full release up today, but now it’s been delayed until Monday. I’m trying to wait for the full release since I don’t want to mess with my site – can you tell us why the delay if the beta version is stable? I’m considering using the beta version, but since you’ve delayed the full release I’m wondering if it’s really stable. Thanks so much for all your help!

We want to wait Monday because if some users have some issues with the update in saturday or sunday we can’t provide support because my developers provide support from monday to friday. We don’t want that someone have issues in the week, and in this way we have also more time to test the theme (a lot of users will try the beta in the weekend, so if there are some bugs they can let me know) :)

Hi Sara. I agree with everyone. Your team does provide outstanding support, and issues happen all the time with theme, plugin, and even wordpress upgrades. I am so impressed how quickly your team responds upgrades and resolves the issues so quickly. I will certainly purchase more themes from YIT. My question is “then I should not upgrade or do anything until Monday? My working site does not look good…the shopping cart is definitely affected. Thanks so much for your assistance and info. I also have deep respect for your work business ethic.

If the site doesnt look good, update the theme with the beta version and check if this version fix all your issues. If yes, wait monday for the update, if no open a ticket and explain the issues you have so we will fix theme before the update. :)

Hi,

can the gallery have a lightbox as the portfolio section? It’d be great one could have a choice to easily click on the image and have it pop up. Or better yet, have the same functionality as the portfolio with the lightbox and the description (not inside the image box, but below like in the portfolio) AND the ability of filters… Basically flip the options.

Is this possible?

kosygirl – i would suggest waiting until monday when they release the full update. you could definitely try the beta but please make sure to backup your database, etc. before attempting. for me, i am not so great with coding so it is safer for me to wait. :)

Hi Sara, Im having trouble figuring out why none of the icons (like the testimonial icon, price tag icon, etc) that come up in the demo don’t appear in my shop. I have looked everywhere and cant seem to find the answer, there is nothing in the support forums. How can i get them to appear? http://theheadspace.yastronaut.com/ is the current page where im working on the theme. Thank you for your help!

I’ve downloaded three versions of this template. I love it but every time, I find I cannot access all the backgrounds. Under Theme Options and the Color tab, the setting for Body bg Image only gives 5 options:

Custom and Backgrounds 8, 15, 19 and 32.

I can see all the backgrounds were uploaded in the Background folder in the main directory in two other folders, Backgrounds and Patterns. Then I saw that 4 backgrounds I can access were listed in the Maya, Image, backgrounds, backgrounds directory so I move the rest of them all there. But they still can’t be accessed as settings in Theme Options though!

I got around this the first time by uploading custom images but now I really want to use the backgrounds that are supposed to come with the theme. Exactly where in the directory are the backgrounds supposed to go so the Theme Options/Color page will be able to call them up?

We don’t include the backgrounds inside the theme, because if we include all the 50+ images the theme archive is too big and a lot of users can’t upload it. You can find all the images in the “Backgrounds” folder. Upload the background you want to use :)

I did. However, I found the problem was some syntax in the Maya/inc/theme-options/color-options.php. There was a series of // in front of most of the items on the background list. As I have upgraded this theme 2x and had the same problem each time, I don’t know if you’d could check out color-options.php. It cannot just be me with this language in the color-options.php. I must say, I ADORE your theme and you give the most awesome, consistent support in keeping it current and us users informed! Thank you for creating it!

I updated woo-commerce and now i have to put my website offline (maintenance mode). I should have double check with this theme page before upgrading. Also, i have to comment to some users that independent theme designer such as maya team are not responsible for this because it is the trick that woocommerce team are playing to lure people in buying their products.

I was notified by woocommerce via email few days ago about the new release of shopping cart and in that email they also highlighted the advertisement of 25% on selling their add-ons such as themes etc for one week. This is their cheap short term marketing attempt to lure stuck shop owners like myself to purchase one of their themes. They released the update last week and those shop owners who are not techie and updated shopping cart plugin were forced to buy/change skin/theme or simply put website offline until new update by their old theme team.

Since i don’t have busy online store, so i am going to wait for monday maya release. None of the woo commerce theme comes close to the uniqueness of maya shop.

Greetings. I am still having issues with the Maya theme after updating Woocommerce to the latest version and installing the beta version (1.9.0-RC) of the theme. On the single product pages, instead of tabs, I see the following error:
