Hello Sara, This is my 4th comment. None of my comment had ever reply or respond on it. Right now where i get halt is that in the product view , image can’t be zoom by default just like in Maya demo view. Should i have to set it up somewhere? If yes please let me know where can i need to change? Please respond Sara.

I have had this theme for several months now, and it is truly a beautiful theme, with so many features. Unfortunately, updating the theme is hellish at best. The instructions are so minimal and confusing, there is no “one-click” updating—you have to do it through FTP and just hope and pray all goes well, which it usually does not.

When submitting a ticket on the forum, I just get the same instructions, which are NOT helpful. No doubt it is easy for people who do this for a living, but for someone who just wants to run a shop online, but is not technically very savvy, it is a nightmare.

As soon as I can get another easy-to-update theme ready, I will unfortunately be leaving Mayashop for good.

So, just a heads-up for those of you who are not technical wizards who know all about FTP and how to restore your site if you mess it up. You may want to look elsewhere.

gwynir, on themeforest is not possible update the theme with “one-click”. You have to download again the theme and update it. Is the themeforest process. Also, if i purchased a plugin on codecanyon, if i want to update it i have to follow the same procedure.

So, i’m sorry, but we can’t use a “one click updating” system.

Yes, I understand that, which is why I commented, for those who might suffer the same problems I have, with this otherwise wonderful theme.

I have not heard of codecanyon, so have no idea what that has to do with anything. All I know is that all the other themes I have are easy to update. This one is a beast.

Those comments are uneducated, unreasonable and unfair to the developers. There is not a theme in the world that will teach you the very basics, such as using ftp or making backups!

You choices are simple; 1. Learn how the internet works and stop blaming others. 2. Pay someone who knows what they are doing. 3. Open a real world shop…I presume you know how a key works?...or perhaps you would you blame others because you can’t open the door?

By default the internet IS a technical entity, but you should not blame hard working developers for what is obviously your lack of knowledge!

thank you. Also, we can’t change the update process, because we have to send again the theme to themeforest and the customer has to download it again. Is not our fault :)

Hello there again! Having problem with translating my theme. Did everything as it says in tutorial. Theme has translated into language that I need but few things have left. Something like: “No rating”; “Add to wishlist”; “Reviews”; “Categorie’’, “Related products”; “Product description”. In PO file it’s translated into my language but it doesn’t show up on the website. How can I change it to my language?

Sorry if my comments sounded a bit harsh, but you should never do a ‘live’ update on anything on an ecommerce site. If a update breaks your site, you stop selling!

Always test everything on a local machine before updating the live site.

PM me if you dont know how to setup Wordpress on a local Windows or Mac, I will be glad to help. Luckily some very nice people have made the process really easy these days.

I’m looking into purchasing this template but I would like to know a couple of things. First, whether it has the capability to add a questionnaire and responses being sent to an emaill? Secondly, if you have a product for sale and have multiple colour options, can you include swatches and once clicked on will change the image with the colour selected? Sorry if the answers are already listed but i’m new to this and quite overwhelmed with all the options on here!
