The speed of your website can be as a result of anything. Your images should be Optimized for Web and Devices before you use them. – Try also using a cache plugin, but after you install the cache plugin make sure that it is not conflicting with any other feature on your website. This cache plugin idea seems to work for some people. – If you are on a shared server your hosting company may also be the culprit here. If you are on one of Hostgator servers then most likely you should call them. Hostgator used to be good. – Try also accessing your website from outside of your network to see if your router / browser is the issue.If you are using Mozilla Firefox you might need to reset Firefox to default settings or use Chrome and restart your router and even you local host machine. – Scan your website for malware also :)

Purchased 2 themes by you. I am trying to get my home page to look like yours in the demo (Homepage 1). I have the correct slider (mini) and I created a text sidebar. I cannot get this sidebar to appear adjacent to the right of the slider (as you have done in the demo and you stated it to be a text widget). It is on the right side but lower than the slider. In the location of where the DEFAULT slider (Archives, Categories, Blogroll) would appear. Kindly reply :-)

You have to add the shortcodes in the textarea. To make the text aligned to center or increase the font size you can use custom css rules and add them in the custom style textarea (theme options > general):

Several feature requests, I believe these go in functions.php

1) hooks for image sizes as it doesn’t work with several plugins, have been asking for this for a while now

2) cannot show excerpts , would like this feature

3) would like to be able to disable any sidebar widget showing in blog, as this does not work correctly and defaults to wordpress one which totally messes up my page appearance

4) Where is setting to allow all to rate, at the moment it only allows registered logged in people to post a rating, this would be better allowing admin to verify each rating / review rather than a blanket ban on them unless logged in.

after I found the IP linking back to your server, I notice you have not done anything about this, this could be illegal under EU law, this needs to be verified and informed to customers. i spent 2 days looking into this IP and why it was slowing my site and why my firewall blocked it, the least your developers can do is look into this and inform customers, after all companies doing less than this have been fined under EU privacy laws and the fines run into $1,000,000’s

I do expect these updates and features adding as they are available in the most basic of themes and it is not fair for your developers to say it is not worth adding for a customer, this shows a lack of respect I might turn into a much bigger customer in the future who knows !

yes developers should inform people of IPs etc, not sure who obliges you there is no law saying you have to do this in fact there are more laws stopping data being fed back unless you are of course a government spy lol,

if the customer knows the IP and what info is feeding back to IP, then they can act accordingly, our firewall blocked your IP immediately as it was linked with bad IPs, there fore it is essential customer is informed.

This should be my last question. Is there a way to use the popup feature as a agree to terms before entering and NOT make the user enter an email address? I tried but without the newsletter code, it keeps appearing even when “don’t show this again” was ticked.

We like what we have now so thank you. I did have one more question: How can we change the font for the ‘Apply Coupon’ and ‘Update Cart’ buttons? I assume this is another code for the text and not theme/options? I could change color but not font.

Hi Sara. Next to my categories on my page it shows how many items are in that category in parenthesis. I cant seem to figure out how to change the background color from yellow to white. Ive gone through all the options in the color tab under theme options but cant seem to figure it out.

found issue, it is to do with thumbnail hooks and no theme compatibility with Amazon S3 and CloudFront so your theme is not asking the plugin to resize images before sending them to cloud causing full size image to be shown.

I cannot fix this, only your developers can by adding correct hooks

Strange issue and I cannot think what I could be doing wrong. I have one FAQ page with 2 categories and there are a few Q/A within each of the 2 categories. All I wanted to to was add a 3rd category and continue on. This 3rd category was created just like the first 2 then add a new Q/A and assign it to category 3… but it simple does not appear. I even deleted cache in hopes I was not seeing the update.

Nice looking theme but the support is terrible. Over 3 days to respond to a support request is not acceptable especially when you advertise about the quality of your support.

Theme is also buggy. Very odd formatting errors like stripped out line breaks, spontaneous colour changes.

Very disappointed.

It seems that the shoppingcart page does not get translated by woocommerce standard .po/.mo since according to my research (correct me if I am wrong :-) ) it is rendered by the theme?

Where in the theme design can I translate it?

Namely the “proceed to checkout” is important.

Hello, I’m using your theme and it’s really awesome, Sara! But I have problem with downloaded photos on dingle product-page. I mean, I download photos and its quality become lower:(( Then when I zoom them with the help of Magnifire they are shown in right, original quality. I understand that theme (maybe gallery?) or woo-commerce change downloaded pre-view photo on single product-page. But maybe I can change somewhere the preferences to quality? So my photos will be in the same good quality on the preview and when I use Magnifire. Because the difference is really noticeably.

Hello everyone. Although this is a very popular theme and also very pretty, I really hope you have no issues with it. I unfortunately do, but I am not blaming it on the theme, I am sure some of it is my fault for doing the setting up wrong.

What I can tell you, however, is that their support service is appalling. Currently I have 4 tickets opened and still no answer. Even if they do answer and you reply, you still have to wait 2-3 days for their reply. The rating this theme has is obviously not taking into consideration their support team. If I could rate the support I would give it half a star, if that.

I understand they have a lot of tickets to go through, but since it is an online shop, people kind of rely on the site to work properly, because it’s their income source. I am getting so irritated with them and because of this I would advise not to buy this theme. If I hadn’t done so much with it already, I would definitely buy a different theme and use that. Not this one.

If you are an experienced programmer, sure, go with it, it’s pretty, but if you are a newbie just give it a miss.

I am trying to update to Mayashop to the new version. I have followed the instructions and renamed the directory to maya_2.6.0 and installed the new theme, but when I select this theme, it erases everything I have done over the past few months – everything in Theme Options and Settings, menus etc, and leaves me exactly where I started when I first installed the theme. I opened a support ticket five days ago but have had no response – can you help? Thanks
