While I’ve been pleased with Maya overall, I’m very disappointed in the lack of support on the YITH forum after the latest update to v1.8. Many people are reporting problems with various bugs—especially for the new wishlist plug-in and support is taking at least a full day to give a vague reply that doesn’t answer the question. Please provide additional support after releasing major updates. We are store owners and can’t afford to have our websites down or try and troubleshoot an unstable release.

I understand that you changed support platforms, but what about those of us who were getting help on a specific topic? All of that previous info seems to have disappeared. Very frustrating to have this change without warning. Please help.

can this theme disable the cart functions? So the woocommerce would be just like a catalogue mode, no ‘add to cart’ and no ‘show cart’
I saw the video and there is a Hide Cart button. not sure if that will hide all cart functions

Does ‘compatible with WooCommerce’ mean that it can handle each payment-gateway that WooCommerce supports? (In order to support payment with some national cards)

Compatible with Woo Commerce mean that you have to install Woo Commerce to use the cart feature in the theme. The theme support the woo commerce payment methods like Paypal, cash on delivery and so on. You can also purchase an extension if you need another payment method.

I’m considering purchasing Maya, but want to make sure support functions if needed. I’ve noticed that all the recent links posted to the support area are broken. Both from clients posting TRs and from Sara asking to post in the forum.
So, is that something that only I am seeing, or is this a systemic problem and if so, is there a solution / turnaround time ? Thanks.
We just changed our support platform. We used the support forum and now we use a ticket sistem based on Zendesk. In this way we are sure to improve the support now we have to change the links in all the documentations. Here you can active the theme after the purchase and here we explain how the support works now. Hope is clear for you

Register yourself in our site, then active your theme in this page.
After this, if you are logged in the site, you will see a “profile” page. In the bottom, in the “Themes” section you can find a link to the videotutorials and to the demo files.
You can also open a ticket and ask help if you have some issues. We will reply very soon. The old forum is closed now.

I am considering purchasing this theme but I have a few questions. I would like to display greeting cards for sale. Unfortunately, the aspect ratios of the cards varies. Some are portrait, some are landscape, and some are a completely different aspect ratio altogether. Is there a way to control the image sizes such that they are either all the same width, or a floating grid or something so there is some uniformity? (I didn’t see a short code for controlling thumbnail or image cropping.) I’m not afraid to put code in a child theme (with help) if that is the solution. Second, I see the short codes in the demo for different columns (such as 2, 3 or 4). Can you use that in the shop portion? I want the images to be large enough for people to read the cards when scrolling through a page, so I would probably use 2 or 3 columns. Also, is there any limit to how much text you can put under each image in the shopping area? I would want to show the inside of the card greeting text there. Sorry for all the questions. I really appreciate your time!

For the menu bar in theme options > typography > font size > Menu. For the logo, you have to add this code in your custom style textarea (theme options > general):
