Hey,
-I already bought your theme and am very satisfied! I forgot my password and created a new account to ask you a question
I have got a question concerning the slider of the portfolio. I would like to change the size of the photos in the slideshow: a portrait format photo should be seen entirely from a medium sized screen without the need to scroll. Thus, it should be placed left of the arrows.
I already searched in the code but could not find the answer.

Hello Lena,
The line 323 in the style.css controls the size of the portfolio slider:
.slideshow .slides img { width: 100%; display: block; }if you remove the width: 100%; command, the images won’t be re-sized automatically. I hope this is what you looking for.

thank you very much, yes that was exactly what I was searching for.
I have three more questions.
The texts, like About or the Portfolio texts are blinking, how could I change this?
The photos in the Portfolio slider are seen for a second brighter then they are (‘fade effect…’), how can I change this? I would like my picture to be shown directly as it is.
Sometimes the overlay of the Portfolio bubbles does not appear as a full bubble. Could this be a template bug or could this be a conflict with an other plug-in?

I have 2 problems right now:
I cannot get my portfolio to filter, nor is the hover shading, title, additional information and site link showing on hover.
And, my contact form is not working. I did a test and when I click the submit button nothing happens. Nothing.

Please try to deactivate all of your plugins first. I think the theme without plugins should work well. If this method doesn’t help, please let me see your site in action, because I need to check the source code for the further help.

Thanks for replying! I actually scanned through all of the messages and deactivated my plugins. Turns out it was Contact Form 7 that was preventing those things from working.
The portfolio now works like a charm.
(I forgot to include this) The navigation menu now displays at the top when scrolling down the page.
However, I still cannot get the contact form to work. With the deactivated plugins it’ll now submit the contact request with a Success message… but I never received the message via email.
Would it be possible to remove the contact form? Maybe just display an image on that side of the contact area?

Let me start by saying your site is beautiful
In fact it cannot be ugly, because based on the ‘Me’ theme, but your customization made it more representative. 
About the contact form issue:
It is weird. The form usually returns with a “Mailer Error: Language string failed to load: instantiate” error message when something is wrong server side… If you get a Success message, the server supports the phpmailer, so the form should work. If you find your contact form important, please write me an email ( info@magna-themes.com ) and I’ll let you know about the possibilities in this case.

Thanks for the theme, I love it, but I need help with a couple things.
1) I created a blog page and I did everything it said in the documentation, but on the blog page the main menu isn’t showing up at all. It shows up on the individual post pages, but not on the blog page itself. Not sure what I did wrong.
2) I think other people asked this, but I didn’t see an answer… how do I change the portfolio thumbnails to be fully clickable instead of just having that little “i” icon to click on?

1) Wow, it sounds weird. If you already selected your menu for the ‘Secondary Menu’ theme location, the menu should appear on the Blog pages. May I see your site in action. I need to check your site for the further help.
2) There is an option called “Disable overlay effect” on the “Theme settigns—> Portfolio” admin page ( In the versions above 2.0 ). If you select that option and click save, the entire circle will be clickable.

I just realized I must have an old version. A lot of the stuff in the videos isn’t there in mine, and I just checked under my themes section and it says version 1.2. I just purchased it a few days ago so why is it an older version?
And mine doesn’t have the ‘disable overlay effect’ option, as far as I can see.
I’m not sure if you got my email from yesterday, but anyway I have another question.
I’d like to try a different font for the main menu that isn’t in your fonts list in the theme options. I tried using a webfont kit to override the menu font, but that isn’t working. How do I use a font I have that’s not on your list?

Yes, you can use images in color. There is no an auto grey scale mechanism in the theme.

Hello I bought your theme and it is cool, but I have some problems with it. First of all in wp-admin i don’t see Homepage options, I got slider, portfolio etc. but no homepage, why?
Second question is for portfolio. Is it possible to have first project opened by default? How to make it?
