Hi Author thanks for a very nice theme
Very happy with it, except for when it is viewed on high resolution screens – the page becomes far too wide with the slideshow surrounded by the big grey box.
Is there a way to set a fixed max width so that the above doesn’t happen?
Thanks
Hi, There currently is a max-width on the body wrap. It prevents all of the content from spilling across wide screens. If you want to prevent the sidebar from going to the right, you’ll have to add some styling. Keep in mind the sidebar is fixed, so by default it’s always going to stick to the right hand side of the page.

H:
I bought and install the theme yesterday. Everything ok, but in theme options I only have 2 panels: “basic setting” and “custom css”. I haven’t the option to admin the social icons, so I can’t see these icons in the web.
Hi there, Medium has several options in the customizer: http://cl.ly/NG6m
The icons are provided by the Okay Toolkit plugin. Have you added the plugin yet? Maybe I’m not sure what your actual issue is. Hop on the forum and we’ll take a look!

Hello, i try localized theme, but not working. I create ru_RU.mo, in wp-config.php – define(‘WPLANG’, ‘ru_RU’);
In what could be the problem?
Hi, hop on the forum and we’ll take a look!

Hey,
are you guys planning to add Quora & Instagram to Okaytheme Plugin Social icon set?
Would be really helpful for some of us
And great work with the Medium theme! Looks awesome
Updating the social icons is coming up on my to-do list! I plan on adding more icons very soon.
Glad you’re enjoying Medium!
Mike
hi, thanks for the great theme!
one question please; how to get the accordion menu running? i made pages, made a menu with submenus under appearence/menu and made it under medium’s customisation, neither worked to get the rollout working:( thank you!
Hi there, If you hop on the forum we’ll take a look! The menu works out of the box, you don’t need to do anything special. Post this question and a link to the site and we’ll get you fixed up in no time!

ok, thank you.
login doesn’t work neither can i find any “puchase code” but a invoice and order number instead…?
thank you!
works now. posted it in forum with link. thank you!
Hey Mike, this looks like an amazing theme. Would it work to use a Typekit plugin to integrate Typekit fonts? Or Google fonts? (If there’s somewhere else I should look to see the back end options, just let me know!) Thanks!
Hi Josh, You could certainly use either one to spruce up the fonts. Looks like there are a few plugins that will do each. Typekit has some really great fonts.

Fantastic! Thanks for the quick reply, Mike.
Hi. Thanks for this great theme! I’ve been using it for awhile now and it’s been working great. I’m going to buy another one of your theme’s soon for a client’s site!
I have 2 questions for this theme that I’m hoping you can help me with:
1. For the menu on the main menu on the left, when someone clicks on an item and goes to that page, the menu goes back to the default instead of saying in the same category. It can be a little confusing. Is there any way to fix this or are there plans in the future to make it more user-friendly?
2. When I added my own logo, everything looks great on the desktop and mobile phone, but on the tablet, my logo gets cut off. Where in the CSS should I look to change the size of the tablet logo size?
I appreciate all your help!
Sinoun
Hi Sinoun, Thanks for your feedback. I just recently decided that I am going to modify that menu so the current menu item is showed properly. So yes, that’s on the list!
If you wanted to modify your logo styles, you could add some extra styles into
@media only screen and (max-width:1024px) { ... }in media-queries.css.Mike
Hi Mike,
Thank you so much for getting back to me and I apologize for taking forever to say thanks! I finally got a chance to look into fixing the issue above with my logo since I’ve been teaching classes and it looks so unprofessional when my logo gets cut off!
I’m still having problems. I went into the media-queries.css file as you mentioned and thought I could change some of the 200px code to 250px, but it’s still not working. I’d like to keep the menu max-width:1024px to 250px instead of 200px. Do I have to change it in more than one place?
Thank you so much for your assistance!!

No problem. Just registered and created a forum discussion. Thanks!
Hi – very interested in this theme. Just have one question… can I control what is featured in the main menu? When viewed on a phone, the menu takes up the entire screen height which is a shame. My intended use for the theme doesn’t need all the menu items, so before I purchase I want to check that I have control over what appears in the menu? That way I could reduce it down to 2 or 3 items only thus limiting the amount of screen it uses in phone view. Thanks.
Hi there, You can definitely control what goes into the menu. If you don’t want all those menus/widgets, simply don’t add them and they won’t show up! That area is widgetized, so you have control over what goes into it.
Mike
Hi there,
I bought the theme: it really rocks. Its code is clean, easy to adapt, and child themes work like a charm.
But the best is the support: twice I needed help – and both times it came in a very professional and easy to understand way.
I’m online now with this theme – and I just love it. So this is my way of saying thank you: you saved my day.
Cheerioh, Stefan
Hey Stefan, Thanks for the kind words! We really appreciate the support. Do you mind if I use this on the new Okay site as a testimonial?
Mike
Yes of course. The site I am using the theme for is sg3.it – if that’s useful for you. Have a great day! Stefan
Hi Mike, i just purchase your theme but i have a problems. I start with a clean install of Wp 3.5.1 when i activate the theme all the dropdown option of wordpress frozen ! Apparence / Menu /Widget / Cistomiz etc
I solved the problem with the great plugin “Use google library” This plugin allows WordPress site to use the content distribution network side of Google’s AJAX Library API.
Cool but i prefer find the way without plugin .
I ask my question here because i can’t login in the forum with my purchase code, i have this error ” Not a Valid Purchase! “
Thanks Yanis
Hi Yanis, You don’t need any extra plugins to fix the theme. It works by default with no extra plugins. I haven’t had any reports of it freezing the admin area, so check to make sure one of your installed plugins isn’t causing the issue.
Double check your purchase code and make sure you aren’t entering any extra letters or extra spaces. I don’t have any reports of users not able to access the forums.
Mike
Hello Mike, Great and beautiful theme!. Thinking of purchasing it for a customer. Could you tell me if it works well with WPML plugin? or have any problems working with differente languages? thanks =) c
Hi, The theme is localized and comes with the .po and .mo files, just as you’d expect. I haven’t tested it specifically with WPML, but I haven’t heard any complaints about incompatibility!
