MEGAMAG - A Responsive Blog/Magazine Style Theme

Hey there, I absolutely love this WordPress theme. I am just about to purchase this theme! It literally fits all of my needs and the customization I need to do is fairly simply. The one thing I am running into is having anyone being able to post comments. It opens up doors for major spam. Now I know you can remove it but that is not my objective I want user feedback and comments. Last time I had something like that I received so much spam I took down the website. How easy would it be to add a user login so they would have the ability to leave comments and I know they will not spam. In addition I need to do a custom login page but I would prefer to not go to a login page but to have that login window “pop out” of the page. I apologize for my lack of technologically correct terms but I am new to web site designing hence why I am here in the first place. I hope you can help because I want this theme!

Hello I would like to purchase this theme… and might anyway? But it there a chance I can play video in the header? I would like a slider with video options.

One thing that is missing is styling in the CSS for form elements.

I’ve added a few forms in to the site, and it would be great if the megamag theme already had CSS set for the form elements.

Is this something you might consider in a future release?

At first, great theme!! I purchased it 2 months ago, and I made a nice website about metal and rock music, with news, videos, Lp’s and concerts reviews and events calendar, making the front-end and logo. Check it and tell me if you like !! (It’s in spanish).

we bought megamag and it is an awesome magazine theme. but a major problem seems to be the integration of woocommerce, since with woocommerce-enabled pages (like shop or product listings) the layout breaks. any help on that matter would be much appreciated!

I’m new to WordPress and I’ve followed instructions to the tee on how to install this theme, but its still not downloading properly on my site. Watched many videos googled, searched forums and still can’t figure out what I’m doing wrong. Its showing with the Themeforest banner and I’m not able to customize =/ Please help!

Hi, with this theme, the important plugin “Duplicator” does not work, it must be in error. Why?

The Javascript error is:

TypeError: Duplicator.Pack.ShowCreateDialog is not a function [Interrompi per questo errore]

Hi! I loved the example of the theme and recently purchased. I’m trying to upload it now to my existing WordPress site, and am unable to. The error message reads that the theme is missing a “style.css” sheet. I have no idea how to find it or upload this new theme and GoDaddy is refusing to help. Can you provide more installation instructions? Thank you.

Hi. Loving the theme, but having a strange problem. On the iPad in portrait mode some of the posts dont justify properly. The text is all shifted to the right. What is strange is that it seems to only affect the posts that were on the top of the news feed. They look fine on the newsfeed though, its just when you click on them. If you have an iPad, try portrait mode and click on the top story on www.racing.gt

Thank you for the prompt reply to my earlier message. I'm still unable to upload the MegaMag theme to my WordPress site/dashboard, in spite of unzipping the file. In fact, I never saw an "inspire.zip" file in any of the zip file downloads- so maybe there's an error there. I'm still receiving the same error message from Wordpress: "The theme is missing the style.css stylesheet." Thank you in advance for the consideration in this matter as I'm anxious to begin building my new site.

hi.. got another issue, but with the latest version. The advertising banner has disappeared since updating it? i would send you a link, but i’ve rolled back to the old version. Cheers

we’ve found an error – when trying to add an image via the button to the rich text editor, it isn’t inserted, Firebug tells me that:

ReferenceError: textInput is not defined textInput.val(image_url);

It seems the culprit is backend_scripts.js around line 254. Can you please advise how to fix this?

Hello, I successfully downloaded the theme but, the only problem is I want to change the header banner to my own header is there a way I can do that?
