just purchased the app. any recommendations on how wide the slider should be? It looks like its aligning from the right the right of my image is still being cut off a bit. i made it 1920px. Too long?

Hello United.
A client purchased this theme, and is asking me to make a couple of tweaks. I’d ask in the forum, but I’m not the purchaser.
Is your theme compliant with standard ‘child-theme’ set-up?
Several themes here on TF are not, and it never hurts, nor should it offend, to ask and make sure.
They also wish to move your menu ‘above’ the logo area, but not sure if that’s something I won’t talk them out of.

if you can provide us the purchase code we can create an account manually for you. Feel free to send us the user account the theme has been purchased with and the purchase code via profile.
Melrose already comes with a standard child theme and most file like footer.php , header.php can be added to this child theme.
Well this can be done with a code change, for changes like this we are having a paid customization support. Our regular after sale support does not cover these inquiries. Only theme related configuration and minor CSS changes are covered.

Hello, I am looking to purchase this item however I’d liek to know if i can change a couple things. I’d like to be able to alter the colors a bit. ie: I’d like to change rollover navigation colors and link colors. How would I go about doing this?

Hi Miranda,
well since we are delivering this theme with the 2 predefined colors you need to make these changes directly inside the CSS file. The only thing which is controllable with the theme options panel is the theme color / accent color. And this color will apply the font color on the navigation for example.

Hi, I love this theme! So easy to work with and customize. I have two questions for you.
1. Is there a way to make the menu static on all monitors? For instance, when I view the site on my 15” Mac, the menu is all on one line. However, when I look on my client’s very large monitor, the menu wraps to two lines. Same browser. Seems backwards…shouldn’t it load the same on both?
2. Is there a way to speed up the load time of the site? It’s kind of sluggish. I only have 2 plugins activated and even without them it’s very slow to load.

I wonder why I can’t seem to make my menu work? If I were to change the site nav. in the customize portion of the Theme, it’ll show my existing menu items appear. But they don’t “stay” and nothing happens when I try to activate my existing menu. www.reelinkspot.com

I should add I have no access to any widget. There are a handful that appear, but I can’t grab onto any of them, nor do I have any sidebars in the widget area to drag them to.
