Where / how do we modify the slider content?

I’m installing over a prior WP installation (with addition content) however other images from the prior install are loading!

Please help!

Great theme BTW ! Also, I posted a question directly to pixelentity re modifying the themes CSS for a shopping cart (namely woo commerce) as at present it’s not playing nicely. I hope you consider this possible / are available to assist! SHOPPING CARTS are becoming increasingly in demand from a wide range of clients requesting. how do i change a custom css code which i added i think thats whats messed my slider image …. you told me to add a code to make the contact number at the top right of the theme larger but it did nothing ..plz help what should it be originally or how do i undo what i did in customs css …..

That’s mentioned in docs: The contact form in this theme doesn’t require any setup. It automatically uses the contact information from the Wordpress Admin area. (General Settings)

1stdomainz, hopefully this helps but you can also use a contact form plugin to manage their business inquiries. The theme should allow you to use a different contact form plugin in any widgetized area or directly in a page via shortcode.

BTW I am not a pixel temamember, I noticed your inquiry while trying to decide to purchase this theme.

Hi, I am considering purchasing this theme today but have a few questions:

1. Is it possible to link the homepage slides to posts or pages?
2. Is it possible to have a title or descriptions show up in the actual slides?
3. Is there a choice of different homepage sliders (i.e. Nevo, accordion, etc.)?
4. Can the images that appear in porfolios (example "latest projects" section in the home page) be cropped so they don't look squished/elongated?

Hi jayabreu,

1. Yes you can insert links into homepage slider images.

2. Unfortunately not.

3. Unfortunately not, this is a responsive theme and those sliders are not responsive. For now there is only the indicated custom built slider.

4. Those images and portfolio images are dynamically generated and cropped, so there is no need to worry about stretching of images. You only upload 1 large image and the theme does the rest.

Thank you, I appreciate the quick assistance. With regards to item number 4 I do understand what you mean about them being dynamically generated but they problem is they look stretched out.

Please see: http://mentor.themes.pixelentity.com/project/project-22-title/ and look at the related work portfolio slide images…. they are stretched and look odd. My inquiry is; is there a way to avoid that?

i don’t see anything wrong with those images in both aspect ratio and quality. maybe it’s due to some browser glitch on your side, could you please contact us via our profile form and send a screenshot with info on browser used ?

there’s a pot file inside mentor/language theme folder which contains all the string, you would basically create a new file for spanish translation and translates all the strings contained in the theme pot file, see here for major details

Well I tried with poedit, and also I installed a plugin called “code styling” With the first I can do the translation, however if I place under the theme languages saved as ES_es.mo and .po nothing happens

When I use the plugging downloaded gives me this message:

Error: The actual loaded translation content does not match the textdomain: Mentor Expect, that any text you translate will not occure as long as the textdomain is mismatching! This is a coding issue at the source files you try to translate, please contact the original Author and explain this mismatch.

What is your support plan for this theme? For how long will you provide updates and make sure it works with the latest version of Wordpress?

Will you add titles to the front page slider, meaning able to add short messages per slide? Will you add ecommerce solution to the theme? Will you add CAPTCHA to the built in contact form?

Our Estro slider is more than one year old and we still support it by releasing updates and patches, same will happen with all our themes. Additionally, our WordPress framework was built against 3.3/3.4 so it won’t require any compatibility change any time soon.

About features not being currently implemented, we add them when there’s enough buyer demand.

jayabreu I understand what you mean by the streching of the project carousels. This only appears to happen with IE8 . Other browsers show them correctly. Must be IE8 bug that maybe we can get some other CSS for IE8 only to fix issue.
