Hi,
The Mentor Theme does not contain a “Staff” shortcut. To make a “Our Staff” page you would need to use the “Full Width” page template and the columns shortcode, to insert a image and a description for each staff member. This could be all done manually via the WordPress editor.

Great theme. Really enjoying it. I’d like the main home page slider to fade instead, or kindof fade/slide like the lightbox hwere does. Possible?

Unfortunately this is not possible with the current slider. To get a fading slider you would need to replace the slider completely with a new one which supports this feature.

Hi, I’m trying to remove dates from the archive/category pages but there are neither php files to edit – how would I do this?
Hi,
You will need to copy “index.php” and call the copy “category.php” , then remove the dates. The same could be done for “archive.php”

You can override any of the theme’s CSS by pasting alternative styles into the “Custom CSS ” field in the theme options panel. So find the selector of the itemyou wish to change and then past a new color code into that field.

this option not currently available in current version. We do have slider captions in our development branch but we need to test all features before releasing on public.

The theme includes almost all bootstrap widgets, you can check preview to see tabs, accordions, labels, buttons, alerts and so on.
We upgrade version as needed, like there are major bugs fixed or new features we want to implement. In other cases, like minor bugs, we just backports the fix in our current version

the newsletter widget just sends the subscriber email to an address you can configure, it’s up to you how to integrate such feature with a 3rd party newsletter software/service (like mailchimp). Most services provide a subscribe address like newsletter-subscribe@yourdoman.com, in this case you would just need set this address in the newsletter widget configuration.

I purchased your theme before I knew that there is no way to organize the “projects”. This really detracts from the site somewhat as I have to use the old school method of making links in the menu to the project pages in order for them to be in order (at least in the menu).
So while I really like your theme I am giving it 2 stars. That is only because without the ability to organize the projects the beautiful layout you made for them as the “portfolio” page is pretty much useless for me.
Should you ever update the theme to include the ability to organize the projects by date or other method I would definitely rate this theme a solid 4 stars.

When you add a project to this theme WordPress automatically sorts these projects based on their creation date. Once created you can edit this date to be your real project date and WP will sort them accordingly. This is a default feature of WordPress.
Ratings are designed to allow one buyer to tell future buyers about whether the product works as described, is easy to use and whether the included documentation is well written and easy to follow. Your 2 star rating actually doesn’t give other buyers any information about our theme because your rating it is not based on our theme’s features as we have described them.
You made an incorrect prediction about the features of our theme and then you rate it badly to punish us for your error. Buyers are free to ask pre-sale questions to avoid such situations because this is desirable for both parties.
Ratings are not meant to be used as a threat against authors to get whatever feature you desire and we will not tolerate such use.
