Common WordPress Installation Issues
Missing style sheet error when installing the theme
A common issue that can occur with users new to installing WordPress themes is a “Broken theme and/or stylesheets missing” error message being displayed when trying to upload or activate the theme. This error message does not mean that the theme you have purchased is broken, it simply means it has been uploaded incorrectly. Luckily, there is a very easy fix.

How is the featured image managed for the 4 types of posts?
Regular posts (portfolio) – it’s the thumbnail and the first item of the slider
Home page slider posts – it’s the image displayed (will be used only if there’s no video)
News posts (portfolio) – it’s the thumbnail and the news entry main image
Static pages – it will be used as a background image for the website
I can’t see some of the images on the homepage. Why?
This problem is related with the Timthumb script that resizes the images. Probably the folder permissions aren’t set properly. Please follow these steps that might help: 1. Check permissions of the folder named “cache” inside the includes/plugins folder and make sure they are 755; 2. Make sure the timthumb.php file permissions are set to 644. This file is also located at the includes/plugins folder; 3. Delete cache folder and re-upload it.
