that is the dummy text we used on the portfolio items description.
what i think is happening is that u’ve used the demo content as a starting point for ur website. google indexed that. and it didn’t get around to index the final version of the site (that doesn’t contain that text), yet.
but it’s just a hunch, as i can’t find that text on in the html source code of ur page either.

if i’m correct, rebuilding ur site won’t change anything. just w8 a few days to see what hapenes after google reindexes ur website
I purchased the theme. Love it. Almost done with my site and ready to relaunch. Just one problem. The shortcodes are not working on the regular pages. For instance, the blog, I want to utilize the text types there, but they aren’t showing up. Please advise.

u need to have at least 2 front page sections (titles will do) in order for the front page to load. also, pls take a look at main/documentation/Mercurial Documentation.pdf. it might speed up the customization process.

backup the theme files u’ve changed (if any). overwrite the theme files with the ones from the latest version. u can overwrite all of them or just the changed ones (if u had the previous version 1.0.2). u can find the changelog at the bottom of the item details page

that is the default setup. there is an option to have the menu show only starting with the 2nd section. the demo has that option checked.

Can i change the background of the Menu bar with a patern image ?, or this accept only colours ? I wanna know how to change the type of the font and the alignment in the menu bar.

background-image: url('../../images/toggle-closed.png');obviously, use the appropriate path for ur case2. there are instructions in the main/documentation/Mercurial Documentation.pdf on how to add / change a font. once u’ve done that, open mercurial/css/superfish.css and insert the font name on line 75.
3. i don’t quite understand what u mean by the alignment in the menu bar. can u be a bit more specific?

I am experiencing the same issue.
In the “manage theme” section, “Your latest posts” gives me this frozen loader. http://cl.ly/MWkx
If I choose “A Static Page,” it works, using a sample page and post. http://cl.ly/MWWH
I assume this means I have to work with the “Static Page” option? If so, how do the “front page sections” get displayed?

Hello there! So i ended up purchasing this theme – loving it so far!
Just a quick question. I am a WP newbie. I tried looking for the answer in the documentation but was unable to find the answer. So I have created a few front page sections. I also created a Menu. How do I link the links ins the menu to jump to specific front page sections? I am not sure why I am having such a probleming solving such a simple task!

hey,
go to admin/appearance/menus/ select the front page sections u want in the menu. hit add to menu. repositsion the way u want them. hit save menu.
if the front page sections box is not visible, go to screen options (top right of the screen) and select front page sections.

that is not a shortcode. its just a regular image, inserted into the content textarea, centered, that has an anchor tag attached. the anchor link is “your-website-url/#the-front-page-section-slug”

Hi,
I installed the theme and everything works fine. I just ran into the following problem: the background-color isn’t visible (it’s just plain white) when using a background-image. I added an image, changed the image from ‘fullscreen’ to ‘centered’ and added a background color (#XXXXXX) and a font-color. A quick look in the source code of the generated content using the browser shows that the background-color is set to transparent. That’s strange. Instead when I use a background-color without an image, the background is visible.
Are you familiar to this problem and is there a solution for it? There’s no difference between FF, Chrome or Safari.

there are 2 solutions. 1. set a default bg color in the theme options. this means that u will have the same color on all front page sections
2. send me an email using the contact form from our profile page and ill send u the changed files.

Two questions.
1. Is there a way to fix the front page page portfolio, sometimes when i go onto the site the posts don’t show up. I usually have to refresh the page.
2. In the actual portfolio post is there a way to make the arrow keys navigate through the photos? Clicking on the arrows can get very tedious when its a lot of photos to go through.

1. i have a feeling the issue is caused by the js errors generated by the gavatar service u use. try disabling the plugin related to the gavatar service. if it’s not that, create a set of admin credentials and send them over so i can take a look.
