Where is the file to edit for the contact form? The submit button doesn’t do anything? and as well as i need the file where the sendto email is stored.

You will find it in php/sendmail.php. Such file contains configuration instructions and example code.

The twitter feed seems to be caching smashing magazines tweets. When the username is updated as well as the link nothing changes on the website. Is there a patch for this, or a way to reset the caching for this widget?

Hello,

This is because the php/twitter-api.php displays sample data by default. That file is queried from JavaScript to retrieve the tweets for both the twitter bar and the twitter widgets.

The first thing is that you need to get your API credentials from Twitter. Instructions are on the same php file. After you get the credentials you can specify them on the php file as well.

Then, replace the screen_name and count as follows:

$result = $connection->get("statuses/user_timeline", array(
  'screen_name' => $_GET['username'],
  'count' => (int) $_GET['count'],
));

This will display the JSON data received by the Twitter API and everything will work as expected. Make sure you remove the sample lines at the end of the file, as instructed therein.

I will make sure ot make this process more straightforward on the next update, so you just need to uncomment the lines. Thanks for pointing this out, I did not actually notice this until now.

There are simple issues and complicated issues. There are also issues in which I have to spend countless minutes and hours of my precious time helping you guys out. I am very satisfied doing it.

I go way beyond my responsibilities with the support service to give you the helping hand you need with setting up your sites and fixing your issues.

If you notice on the comments here (which are not the main support channel for your items), I do not answer medium to complex issues. I redirect them politely to the forums so I can dedicate all the time that is needed to respond (which means an entire 8-hour work day fixing stuff and getting into your servers inspecting things).

Quoting from the forum’s Terms of Service:

Support requests will be answered in order of arrival. You should expect a response to your issue within 3 to 5 business days. It is highly recommended to be patient when expecting an answer to your inquiry.

It is worth mentioning that (even if it is totally unreallistic) support is optinal for ThemeForest authors. I am extremely committed to help you out, and always do. People that patiently wait for their answer tend to get 500% more help from me.

P.S: $fields is an array, you should use $fields[‘message’] instead. See you in the forums :)

Nah it’s ok. I just take my time to provide support. Instead of doing it every day (which has proven to be unsustainable), I usually let a few issues accumulate to dedicate an entire day to help you guys out.

I’m currently designing (almost done) my next theme (which will be super awesome by the way). So I’ll interrupt it briefly and see what’s going on with your contact form.

I will make an exception check your issue now ;)

Again I apologize since because of the name of the company that it maybe wasn’t even the same person helping me. As in a support network. I was not aware that the author personally dealt with each support issue.

No need to apologize, I totally understand.

There are authors that hire support staff to handle the support requests. In my case I could do it, but I believe you guys will get better support from me because I know the products in & out.

It also has to do with scalability. So far I am able to handle the support load, but if it comes to a point where it is too much for me to handle, then hiring support staff would be the best thing to do.

I have provided some code that will get your message properly formatted. Check it out on the forum.

You can use the following CSS selector:

header[role=banner] ul#navigation > li > a {
  color: white !important;
}

That should do it.

Yes, this is possible by setting the autoscroll option on the carousel to true. The timeout can be controlled using autoscrollInterval.
