You know, I don’t understand why it’s so hard to simply respond to an email. I emailed you initially on Dec 10, you emailed back with a brief message, and I responded. This has been going on for almost a month with nothing being done. I do NOT have any new emails from you since about 17 days ago. NONE. I truly feel like I’m being given the run around and it’s pissing me off.

Can you work out the HTML version to look anywhere normal when ‘responsive’ and the issue with how it breaks up in Outlook or not????

Hello, I just purchased MetroMail but two things:

1. The Documentation says v1.0. Shouldn’t I have received v1.4?

2. When I open the “Builder” .html file (firefox and chrome) it just trips out; the page get’s locked in some weird reload loop. I checked the source and the .html file contains one line of code: [link removed]

Does this look right?

What’s going on with this Builder thing?

Hi Promail, I’ve successfully downloaded the new version and the builder loads, however it does not seem to work. Each time I make a colour modification (via html mode) and then save (i.e. new zip gets created), when the zip is opened it is simply the default colour scheme.

Hi promail, what’s going on with support? I’ve submitted numerous emails, as you directed by you guys earlier in this thread, but I have not heard anything back (no email). I’ll give it another 24 hours and then I’ll have no choice but to request a refund for a product that doesn’t work, and submit a formal complaint to Envato regarding this product.

Hi, I haven’t been able to get anything out of Promail Support for a few days so I thought I’d post my support question here with the hope a user out there can help me.

I’ve been trying to use the “Builder” tool they sell but after I build the layout and select the option to “save changes,” I’m provided a zip file which presumably is supposed to have the email files I just created with the Builder. However, the only file contained in the ZIP file is an html document which, when opened, takes me to a “Purchase This Item” landing page. Obviously I’ve already purchased the item so I don’t know what’s going on.

Does anyone know if a license key is supposed to be applied, or what’s going on with this “Builder” thing?

bluelk and everybody, I purchased the template and no, it is not working perfectly.

On Outlook 2013, the font defaults to a serif Times. Probably meaning that the font-family style is being applied incorrectly: http://stackoverflow.com/questions/10457006/outlook-2010-overriding-font-family-from-arial-to-times-new-roman

Also, buyer beware: don´t buy this template: the templating engine is on the creators servers. This is fraud. I should own the templating engine. Themeforest´s standards are going lower and lower for allowing this.

What if one day the servers are no longer available? Why isn´t it outlined in the product decsription that this is not a product but a service that will at best be available for a year or so or whenever the creators promail no longer want to offer that.

What is going on? This is fraud.

I just sent through a support email—I am having big issues with Metro, templates built in the Promail builder aren’t working properly (as soon as content is added, everything vanishes). This is a pretty big problem.

the template works perfect. you need to take the entire /img folder and dump it onto a location on your server. then change all the links inside the templates to the url’s in the server. all . this way you can delete the /img all in all and leave one single sheet to import into mail chimp. this way also there is no worries about promail servers not hosting any elements anymore someday….

i have a question tho myself. why is there so ultimately many tables in tables on each element of the grid. i mean is it really necessary to code this much into it. i didn’t make too many email templates yet. question: can i remove some of the horizontal blank tables within each of the cubes and other elements. i find them disturbing for editing because its a forest of tables in tables. please advise

For the /img folder you can edit it with a replace command on your text editor

and for the tables it’s the unique way to get the templates rendred in so many email clients .. you can’t edit the structure if you don’t have a basic knowledge using tables in HTML

I am really confused… You have not been clear about “integration with mailchimp”

I purchased this, opened up the e-mail builder and all I was able to do was set my colors and add/delete blocks. I cannot change any text and I cannot add images.

Then I save it as a zip, upload it like you directed into MailChimp and then when I get to “design” all I can do is edit HTML….

Is there a visual editor?? I cannot edit HTML…

I really hope there is a fix for this or else I am screwed.

hey there, bought the template – having an issue with the builder – changing colours but it wont save the changed colours. The selector states that the colours have been changed to the #Number, but the actual template does not change to reflect the new colours
